Jeder nun, der hört meine {diese} Worte und tut sie (so) nicht, wird einem dummen (törichten) Mann gleichen, einem, der sich das Haus auf dem Sand (Ufer, Strand) baut.

Y cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y no las hace, le compararé á un hombre insensato, que edificó su casa sobre la arena;

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
