Da er aber vom Berge herabging, folgete ihm viel Volks nach.

Und siehe, ein Aussatziger kam und betete ihn an und sprach: Herr, so du willst, kannst du mich wohl reinigen.

Y he aquí un leproso vino, y le adoraba, diciendo: Señor, si quisieres, puedes limpiarme.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

Und Jesus streckte seine Hand aus, ruhrete ihn an und sprach: Ich will's tun; sei gereiniget! Und alsbald ward er von seinem Aussatz rein.

Y extendiendo Jesús su mano, le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y luego su lepra fué limpiada.

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Siehe zu, sag's niemand, sondern gehe hin und zeige dich dem Priester und opfere die Gabe, die Mose befohlen hat, zu einem Zeugnis uber sie.

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas á nadie; mas ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece el presente que mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.

And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Da aber Jesus einging zu Kapernaum, trat ein Hauptmann zu ihm, der bat ihn

Y entrando Jesús en Capernaum, vino á él un centurión, rogándole,

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him for help,

und sprach: Herr, mein Knecht liegtzu Hause und ist gichtbruchig und hat grolie Qual.

Y diciendo: Señor, mi mozo yace en casa paralítico, gravemente atormentado.

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

Jesus sprach zu ihm: Ich will kommen und ihn gesund machen.

Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré.

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

Der Hauptmann antwortete und sprach: Herr, ich bin nicht wert, daß du unter mein Dach gehest, sondern sprich nur ein Wort, so wird mein Knecht gesund.

Y respondió el centurión, y dijo: Señor, no soy digno de que entres debajo de mi techado; mas solamente di la palabra, y mi mozo sanará.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Denn ich bin ein Mensch, dazu der Obrigkeit untertan, und habe unter mir Kriegsknechte; noch wenn ich sage zu einem: Gehe hin! so gehet er, und zum andern: Komm her! so kommt er, und zu meinem Knecht: Tue das! so tut er's.

Porque también yo soy hombre bajo de potestad, y tengo bajo de mí soldados: y digo á éste: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y á mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Da das Jesus horete, verwunderte er sich und sprach zu denen, die ihm nachfolgeten: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, solchen Glauben habe ich in Israel nicht funden.

Y oyendo Jesús, se maravilló, y dijo á los que le seguían: De cierto os digo, que ni aun en Israel he hallado fe tanta.

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

When Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

Aber ich sage euch: Viele werden kommen vom Morgen und vom Abend und mit Abraham und Isaak und Jakob im Himmelreich sitzen.

Y os digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham, é Isaac, y Jacob, en el reino de los cielos:

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,

Aber die Kinder des Reichs werden ausgestolien in die aulierste Finsternis hinaus, da wird sein Heulen und Zahneklappen.

Mas los hijos del reino serán echados á las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Und Jesus sprach zu dem Hauptmann: Gehe hin; dirgeschehe, wie du geglaubt hast! Und sein Knecht ward gesund zu derselbigen Stunde.

Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creiste te sea hecho. Y su mozo fué sano en el mismo momento.

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.

Und Jesus kam in des Petrus Haus und sah, daß seine Schwieger lag und hatte das Fieber.

Y vino Jesús á casa de Pedro, y vió á su suegra echada en cama, y con fiebre.

And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

Da griff erihre Hand an, und das Fieber verliefi sie. Und sie stund auf und dienete ihnen.

Y tocó su mano, y la fiebre la dejó: y ella se levantó, y les servía.

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

He touched her hand, and the fever left her. So she got up and served him.

Am Abend aber brachten sie viel Besessene zu ihm; und er trieb die Geister aus mit Worten und machte allerlei Kranke gesund,

Y como fué ya tarde, trajeron á él muchos endemoniados; y echó los demonios con la palabra, y sanó á todos los enfermos;

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

auf daß erfüllet wurde, was gesagt ist durch den Propheten Jesaja, der da spricht: Er hat unsere Schwachheit auf sich, genommen und unsere Seuche hat ergetragen.

Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: El mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades, y llevó nuestras dolencias.

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

Und da Jesus viel Volks urn sich sah, hiefi er hinuber jenseit des Meeres fahren.

Y viendo Jesús muchas gentes alrededor de sí, mandó pasar á la otra parte del lago.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.

Und es trat zu ihm ein Schriftgelehrter, der sprach zu ihm: Meister, ich will dir folgen, wo du hingehest.

Y llegándose un escriba, le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré á donde quiera que fueres.

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

A scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

Jesus sagte zu ihm: Die Fuchse haben Gruben, und die Vogel unter dem Himmel haben Nester; aber des Menschen Sohn hat nicht, da er sein Haupt hinlege.

Y Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen cavernas, y las aves del cielo nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recueste su cabeza.

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Und ein anderer unter seinen Jungern sprach zu ihm: Herr, erlaube mir, daß ich hingehe und zuvor meinen Vater begrabe.

Y otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, dame licencia para que vaya primero, y entierre á mi padre.

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

Aber Jesus sprach zu ihm: Folge du mir und lali die Toten ihre Toten begraben!

Y Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que los muertos entierren á sus muertos.

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

Und er trat in das Schiff, und seine Jünger folgeten ihm.

Y entrando él en el barco, sus discípulos le siguieron.

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.

Und siehe, da erhub sich ein groli Ungestüm im Meer, also daß auch das Schifflein mit Wellen bedeckt ward; und er schüef.

Y he aquí, fué hecho en la mar un gran movimiento, que el barco se cubría de las ondas; mas él dormía.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.

Und die Junger traten zu ihm und weckten ihn auf und sprachen: Herr, hilf uns, wir verderben!

Y llegándose sus discípulos, le despertaron, diciendo: Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos.

And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”

Da sagte erzu ihnen: Ihr Kleinglaubigen, warum seid ihr so furchtsam? Und stund auf und bedrauete den Wind und das Meer; da ward es ganz stille.

Y él les dice: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió á los vientos y á la mar; y fué grande bonanza.

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Die Menschen aber verwunderten sich und sprachen: Was ist das fur ein Mann, daß ihm Wind und Meer gehorsam ist?

Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es éste, que aun los vientos y la mar le obedecen?

But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Und er kam jenseit des Meeres in die Gegend der Gergesener. Da liefen ihm entgegen zwei Besessene, die kamen aus den Totengrabern und waren sehr grimmig, also daü niemand dieselbige Stralie wandeln konnte.

Y como él hubo llegado en la otra ribera al país de los Gergesenos, le vinieron al encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, fieros en gran manera, que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.

Und siehe, sie schrieen und sprachen: Ach Jesu, du Sohn Gottes, was haben wir mit dir zu tun? Bist du herkommen, uns zu qualen, ehe denn es Zeit ist?

Y he aquí clamaron, diciendo: ¿Qué tenemos contigo, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿has venido acá á molestarnos antes de tiempo?

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

Es war aber feme von ihnen eine grofie Herde Saue an der Weide.

Y estaba lejos de ellos un hato de muchos puercos paciendo.

And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.

Da baten ihn die Teufel und sprachen: Willst du uns austreiben, so erlaube uns, in die Herde Saue zu fahren.

Y los demonios le rogaron, diciendo: Si nos echas, permítenos ir á aquel hato de puercos.

So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”

Und er sprach: Fahret hin! Da fuhren sie aus und fuhren in die Herde Saue. Und siehe, die ganze Herde Saue sturzete sich mit einem Sturm ins Meer und ersoffen im Wasser.

Y les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron á aquel hato de puercos: y he aquí, todo el hato de los puercos se precipitó de un despeñadero en la mar, y murieron en las aguas.

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

He said to them, “Go!” They came out and went into the herd of pigs; and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the water.

Und die Hirten flohen und gingen hin in die Stadt und sagten das alles, und wie es mit den Besessenen ergangen war.

Y los porqueros huyeron, y viniendo á la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas, y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados.

And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

Those who fed them fled and went away into the city and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.

Und siehe, da ging die ganze Stadt heraus Jesu entgegen. Und da sie ihn sahen, baten sie ihn, daß er von ihrer Grenze weichen wollte.

Y he aquí, toda la ciudad salió á encontrar á Jesús: y cuando le vieron, le rogaban que saliese de sus términos.

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
