Als er {aber} vom Berg stieg (herabkam), folgte ihm (folgte ihm nach, war Jünger) eine große Volksmenge (Menge).

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

und siehe, ein Aussätziger kam herzu †und kniete vor ihm nieder †und sagte: Herr, wenn du willst kannst du mich heilen (rein machen).

Y he aquí un leproso vino, y le adoraba, diciendo: Señor, si quisieres, puedes limpiarme.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

und indem er die (seine) Hand ausstreckte berührte er ihn und sagte: Ich will †es; und sofort (sogleich) wurde er von seinem Aussatz (seiner Unreinheit) geheilt.

Y extendiendo Jesús su mano, le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y luego su lepra fué limpiada.

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

und es sagte ihm Jesus: Schau (sieh zu) niemandem (keinem) †etwas zu sagen, sondern geh und du selbst zeige †dich dem Priester und bringe das Opfer dar, das durch Moses befohlen (angeordnet) wurde, zum Zeugnis ihnen.

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas á nadie; mas ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece el presente que mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.

And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Als er aber nach Kapernaum hineinging (ankam, hereinkam) kam (ging, kam herzu) zu ihm ein Hauptmann (um) ihn zu bitten

Y entrando Jesús en Capernaum, vino á él un centurión, rogándole,

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him for help,

und sagte: Herr, mein Diener liegt gelähmt nieder in dem Haus und †ist furchtbar (schrecklich) gefoltert (gequält).

Y diciendo: Señor, mi mozo yace en casa paralítico, gravemente atormentado.

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

Und er sagte ihm: ich werde (will) kommen †und werde ihn heilen.

Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré.

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

und der Hauptmann antwortete †und sagte: Herr, ich bin nicht würdig (genügend), dass du unter das (mein) Dach trittst (eintrittst, hineingehst), aber (sondern) sage nur ein Wort und mein Knecht wird geheilt werden (gesund gemacht werden, wiederhergestellt werden).

Y respondió el centurión, y dijo: Señor, no soy digno de que entres debajo de mi techado; mas solamente di la palabra, y mi mozo sanará.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

{und} nämlich (denn, also, doch) ich bin unter Vollmacht (Macht, Kommandogewalt), denn ich habe unter mir Soldaten, und wenn ich sage diesem geh und er geht und einem anderen: komm und er kommt und meinem Diener: tue (mache) dies und er tut.

Porque también yo soy hombre bajo de potestad, y tengo bajo de mí soldados: y digo á éste: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y á mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Als aber Jesus †dies hörte wunderte er sich (staunte er) und sagte den Jüngern (Nachfolgern): Amen, ich sage euch, bei niemandem in Israel habe ich so großen (so viel) Glauben gefunden (angetroffen, entdeckt).

Y oyendo Jesús, se maravilló, y dijo á los que le seguían: De cierto os digo, que ni aun en Israel he hallado fe tanta.

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

When Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

Ich sage euch aber, dass viele aus dem Osten und Westen kommen (ankommen) werden und sich niederlegen (an die Tafel legen) mit Abraham und Isaak und Jakob im Königreich der Himmel (der Herrschaft der Himmel, dem Himmelreich),

Y os digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham, é Isaac, y Jacob, en el reino de los cielos:

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,

aber die Söhne der Königsherrschaft (des Königreiches) werden fortgejagt (hinausgeworfen, weggetrieben) werden in die äußerste Dunkelheit (das äußerste Dunkel): Dort (da) wird sein (lautes) Weinen und Knirchen (Klappern) der Zähne (Zähneknirchen).

Mas los hijos del reino serán echados á las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

und es sagte Jesus dem Hauptmann: Geh, (so) wie du glaubst soll dir geschehen. Und †sein Knecht wurde gesund (wiederhergestellt) in dieser Stunde.

Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creiste te sea hecho. Y su mozo fué sano en el mismo momento.

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.

Und als Jesus in das Haus des Petrus ging, sah er seine Schwiegermutter, die lag und Fieber hatte;

Y vino Jesús á casa de Pedro, y vió á su suegra echada en cama, y con fiebre.

And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

und er berührte ihre Hand und das Fieber verlies sie (wich von ihr) und sie stand auf und diente ihm.

Y tocó su mano, y la fiebre la dejó: y ella se levantó, y les servía.

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

He touched her hand, and the fever left her. So she got up and served him.

Als es Abend wurde brachten sie ihm (herzu, dar) viele Besessene; und er trieb die Geister mit (durch) einem Wort (Rede) aus und viele, die Krankheiten hatten heilte er;

Y como fué ya tarde, trajeron á él muchos endemoniados; y echó los demonios con la palabra, y sanó á todos los enfermos;

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

damit erfüllt würde, was gesagt wurde durch Jesaja den Propheten, der da spricht: er wird beseitigen unsere Schwachheit (Schwäche, Krankheit) und †unsere Krankheiten wird er aufheben (wegtragen, wegschaffen).

Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: El mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades, y llevó nuestras dolencias.

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

Als Jesus aber die Volksmenge um ihn sah befahl er (ordnete er an) auf die andere Seite †des Sees (an das jenseitige Ufer) hinüberzufahren.

Y viendo Jesús muchas gentes alrededor de sí, mandó pasar á la otra parte del lago.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.

Und ein Schriftgelehrter, der hinzukam, sagte ihm: Lehrer, ich will dir folgen wo (wo auch immer) du hingehst.

Y llegándose un escriba, le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré á donde quiera que fueres.

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

A scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

Und es sagte ihm Jesus: Die Füchse haben einen Bau (eine Höhle, eine Grube) und die Vögel des Himmels Wohnstätten, aber der Sohn des Menschen (Menschensohn) hat nichts, wo er †seinen Kopf (sein Haupt) senken (neigen, beugen, hinlegen) kann.

Y Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen cavernas, y las aves del cielo nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recueste su cabeza.

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Ein anderer aber †seiner der Jünger sagte (zu) ihm: Herr, erlaube (gestatte, gewähre) mir erst zu gehen (wegzugehen, mich zu entfernen) und meinen Vater zu begraben.

Y otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, dame licencia para que vaya primero, y entierre á mi padre.

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

Aber Jesus sagte (zu) ihm: Folge mir (nach) und lass die Toten zurück zu begraben ihre eigenen Toten (lass die Toten ihre eigenen Toten begraben).

Y Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que los muertos entierren á sus muertos.

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

Und als er einstieg (hineintrat) in das Boot (Schiff) folgten ihm seine Jünger.

Y entrando él en el barco, sus discípulos le siguieron.

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.

Und siehe (plötzlich), ein großes (Erd-)Beben (ein großer Sturm) entstand (ging los) auf dem See, so dass das Boot (Schiff) bedeckt (verdeckt) wurde von den Wellen; er aber schlief.

Y he aquí, fué hecho en la mar un gran movimiento, que el barco se cubría de las ondas; mas él dormía.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.

Und sie traten heran (kamen hinzu), weckten sie ihn auf und sagten: Herr, rette, wir gehen zugrunde (sind verloren, werden umkommen, gehen unter)!

Y llegándose sus discípulos, le despertaron, diciendo: Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos.

And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”

Und er sagte (sprach) †zu ihnen: Was seid ihr feige (verzagt, ängstlich), Kleingläubige? Dann stand er auf †und tadelte (fuhr an) die Winde und den See (das Meer); und es entstand eine große Stille (es trat eine völlige (Meeres-)Stille ein).

Y él les dice: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió á los vientos y á la mar; y fué grande bonanza.

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Die Menschen aber wunderten sich †und sprachen: Was für einer ist dieser (Was ist er für einer), dass sowohl (auch) die Winde als auch (und) der der See (das Meer) ihm gehorchen?

Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es éste, que aun los vientos y la mar le obedecen?

But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Und als er ankam auf dem anderen Ufer (der anderen Seite des Sees) in das Land (die Landschaft, das Gebiet) der Gadarener gingen ihm entgegen zwei Besessene, die aus den Gräbern kamen sehr gefährlich (schlimm, wild), so daß niemand konnte vorübergehen (vorbeigehen) durch jenen Weg.

Y como él hubo llegado en la otra ribera al país de los Gergesenos, le vinieron al encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, fieros en gran manera, que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.

und siehe, sie rufen {sagend}: Lass uns in Ruhe, Sohn Gottes! Kommst du hierher vor der Zeit (dem rechten Zeitpunkt) uns zu foltern (quälen)?

Y he aquí clamaron, diciendo: ¿Qué tenemos contigo, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿has venido acá á molestarnos antes de tiempo?

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

Es weideten aber weit weg eine Herde vieler Schweine.

Y estaba lejos de ellos un hato de muchos puercos paciendo.

And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.

Die Dämonen aber baten ihn {sagend}: Wenn du uns austreibst, schicke uns (lass uns fahren) in die Herde der Schweine (Schweineherde).

Y los demonios le rogaron, diciendo: Si nos echas, permítenos ir á aquel hato de puercos.

So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”

Und er sagte ihnen: Geht (fort)! Und diese gingen aus und gingen in die Schweine; und siehe, die Herde stürmte (stürzte) ganz von dem Abhang hinab in das Meer und starb (kam um) in den Fluten (im Wasser).

Y les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron á aquel hato de puercos: y he aquí, todo el hato de los puercos se precipitó de un despeñadero en la mar, y murieron en las aguas.

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

He said to them, “Go!” They came out and went into the herd of pigs; and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the water.

Aber die Hirten flohen und gingen weg in die Stadt und erzählten (verkündeten, berichteten) alles und das der Besessenen.

Y los porqueros huyeron, y viniendo á la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas, y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados.

And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

Those who fed them fled and went away into the city and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.

Und siehe, die ganze Stadt ging heran zur Begegnung dem Jesu (um Jesus zu begegnen, Jesu entgegen) und als sie ihn sahen baten sie ihn, dass er weggehe aus ihrem Gebiet (ihren Grenzen).

Y he aquí, toda la ciudad salió á encontrar á Jesús: y cuando le vieron, le rogaban que saliese de sus términos.

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
