Um leproso se aproximou. Ajoelhou-se diante dele para adorá-lo. “Senhor”, suplicou o leproso, “se o Senhor quiser, pode curar-me”.
Y he aquí un leproso vino, y le adoraba, diciendo: Señor, si quisieres, puedes limpiarme.
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
Jesus estendeu a mão e tocou no homem. “Eu quero”, disse ele, “fique curado”. E na mesma hora a lepra desapareceu.
Y extendiendo Jesús su mano, le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y luego su lepra fué limpiada.
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Então Jesus lhe disse: “Não conte a ninguém; vá diretamente ao sacerdote para ser examinado, e leve com você a oferta exigida pela lei de Moisés aos leprosos que são curados — um testemunho público da sua cura”.
Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas á nadie; mas ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece el presente que mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Quando Jesus chegou a Cafarnaum, um capitão do exército romano veio e suplicou-lhe ajuda:
Y entrando Jesús en Capernaum, vino á él un centurión, rogándole,
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him for help,
“Senhor, meu servo está em casa de cama, paralítico e sofrendo muitas dores”.
Y diciendo: Señor, mi mozo yace en casa paralítico, gravemente atormentado.
And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”
Jesus lhe disse: “Eu vou curá-lo”.
Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré.
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
Então o oficial disse: “Eu não sou digno de que o Senhor entre em minha casa. Se apenas ficar aqui e disser: ‘Seja curado’, o meu servo ficará bem!
Y respondió el centurión, y dijo: Señor, no soy digno de que entres debajo de mi techado; mas solamente di la palabra, y mi mozo sanará.
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Eu sei disso, porque também obedeço às ordens dos meus superiores, e tenho autoridade sobre os meus soldados. Quando digo a um deles: ‘Vá’, ele vai; e a outro: ‘Venha’, ele vem; e ao meu servo: ‘Faça isto ou aquilo’, ele faz. Por isso sei que o Senhor tem autoridade para dizer à doença dele que saia, e ela sairá!”
Porque también yo soy hombre bajo de potestad, y tengo bajo de mí soldados: y digo á éste: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y á mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace.
For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
Jesus ficou maravilhado! Voltando-se para a multidão, disse: “Eu ainda não vi uma fé assim em toda a terra de Israel!
Y oyendo Jesús, se maravilló, y dijo á los que le seguían: De cierto os digo, que ni aun en Israel he hallado fe tanta.
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

E eu digo isto a vocês: Muitos que não são judeus virão do Oriente e do Ocidente, e se sentarão no Reino dos céus com Abraão, Isaque e Jacó.
Y os digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham, é Isaac, y Jacob, en el reino de los cielos:
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,
E muitos israelitas serão lançados para fora, na escuridão, no lugar de choro e ranger de dentes”.
Mas los hijos del reino serán echados á las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Então Jesus disse ao oficial romano: “Vá para casa. Aquilo em que você tinha fé, já aconteceu!” E o rapaz foi curado naquela mesma hora!
Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creiste te sea hecho. Y su mozo fué sano en el mismo momento.
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.
Quando Jesus chegou à casa de Pedro, a sogra de Pedro estava de cama com febre.
Y vino Jesús á casa de Pedro, y vió á su suegra echada en cama, y con fiebre.
And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.
Mas quando Jesus pegou na mão dela, a febre passou, ela se levantou e começou a servi-los!
Y tocó su mano, y la fiebre la dejó: y ella se levantó, y les servía.
And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
He touched her hand, and the fever left her. So she got up and served him.
Naquela tarde foram trazidas a Jesus diversas pessoas endemoninhadas; e quando ele falava apenas uma palavra, todos os demônios eram expulsos, e todos os doentes eram curados.
Y como fué ya tarde, trajeron á él muchos endemoniados; y echó los demonios con la palabra, y sanó á todos los enfermos;
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

Isso cumpriu a profecia de Isaías: “Ele tomou sobre si as nossas enfermidades, ele mesmo carregou as nossas doenças”.
Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: El mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades, y llevó nuestras dolencias.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Quando Jesus viu a multidão ao seu redor, deu ordens a seus discípulos para atravessar para o outro lado do mar.
Y viendo Jesús muchas gentes alrededor de sí, mandó pasar á la otra parte del lago.
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

Nesse exato momento um dos mestres da lei disse a ele: “Mestre, eu seguirei o Senhor aonde quer que for!”
Y llegándose un escriba, le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré á donde quiera que fueres.
And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
A scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
Mas Jesus respondeu: “As raposas têm tocas e os passarinhos têm ninhos, porém, o Filho do Homem não tem um lugar para repousar a sua cabeça”.
Y Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen cavernas, y las aves del cielo nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recueste su cabeza.
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
Um outro discípulo disse: “Senhor, deixe-me primeiro ir enterrar meu pai”.
Y otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, dame licencia para que vaya primero, y entierre á mi padre.
And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”
Mas Jesus lhe disse: “Siga-me agora! Deixe que os mortos sepultem os seus próprios mortos”.
Y Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que los muertos entierren á sus muertos.
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
Então ele entrou num barco e começou a atravessar o mar com seus discípulos.
Y entrando él en el barco, sus discípulos le siguieron.
And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
De repente levantou-se uma terrível tempestade, de tal maneira que as ondas começaram a inundar o barco. Mas Jesus estava dormindo.
Y he aquí, fué hecho en la mar un gran movimiento, que el barco se cubría de las ondas; mas él dormía.
And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.
Os discípulos foram acordar Jesus, gritando: “Senhor, salve-nos! Estamos afundando!”
Y llegándose sus discípulos, le despertaron, diciendo: Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos.
And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”
Mas Jesus respondeu: “Ó homens de tão pouca fé! Por que vocês estão com tanto medo?” Então ele se levantou, repreendeu o vento e as ondas, e a tempestade passou e tudo ficou calmo!
Y él les dice: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió á los vientos y á la mar; y fué grande bonanza.
And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Os discípulos ficaram admirados! “Quem é este”, perguntavam uns aos outros, “que até mesmo os ventos e o mar lhe obedecem?”
Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es éste, que aun los vientos y la mar le obedecen?
But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Quando eles chegaram ao outro lado do lago, na região dos gadarenos, dois homens endemoninhados foram ao encontro dele. Viviam num cemitério e eram tão violentos que ninguém podia passar por aquela região.
Y como él hubo llegado en la otra ribera al país de los Gergesenos, le vinieron al encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, fieros en gran manera, que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
Eles começaram a gritar para ele: “Que quer conosco, ó Filho de Deus? O Senhor veio aqui para nos atormentar antes do tempo”.
Y he aquí clamaron, diciendo: ¿Qué tenemos contigo, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿has venido acá á molestarnos antes de tiempo?
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
Uma manada de porcos estava pastando à distância;
Y estaba lejos de ellos un hato de muchos puercos paciendo.
And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
então os demônios suplicaram: “Se nos expulsar, mande-nos para aquela manada de porcos”.
Y los demonios le rogaron, diciendo: Si nos echas, permítenos ir á aquel hato de puercos.
So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”
“Está bem”, disse-lhes Jesus. “Vão”. Eles saíram dos homens e entraram nos porcos, e a manada inteira jogou-se precipício abaixo e afogou-se no mar.
Y les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron á aquel hato de puercos: y he aquí, todo el hato de los puercos se precipitó de un despeñadero en la mar, y murieron en las aguas.
And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
He said to them, “Go!” They came out and went into the herd of pigs; and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the water.
Os que cuidavam da manada fugiram para a cidade, contando a história do que tinha acontecido.
Y los porqueros huyeron, y viniendo á la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas, y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados.
And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
Those who fed them fled and went away into the city and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
E a população toda veio correndo para ver Jesus e suplicar-lhe que fosse embora e deixasse todos em paz.
Y he aquí, toda la ciudad salió á encontrar á Jesús: y cuando le vieron, le rogaban que saliese de sus términos.
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.
Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
