Este es el mensaje dado por el Señor a Miqueas, que vivió en el pueblo de Moréset, durante los reinados de Jotán, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá. Este mensaje está dirigido a Samaria y a Jerusalén, recibido por Miqueas en forma de visiones.
PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Miqueas de Morasti en días de Jotham, Achâz, y Ezechîas, reyes de Judá: lo que vió sobre Samaria y Jerusalem.
The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

¡Atención, todos los pueblos de la tierra! ¡Escuchen bien, habitantes de esta nación! Dios el Señor, desde su santo templo ha hecho acusaciones contra ustedes.
Oid, pueblos todos: está atenta, tierra, y todo lo que en ella hay: y el Señor Jehová, el Señor desde su santo templo sea testigo contra vosotros.
Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
Hear, you peoples, all of you! Listen, O earth, and all that is therein. Let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
¡Miren! ¡El Señor viene! Deja su trono en el cielo y viene hacia la tierra caminando sobre la cumbre de los montes.
Porque he aquí, Jehová sale de su lugar, y descenderá, y hollará sobre las alturas de la tierra.
For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Es tanto el poder y la fuerza que irradia, que los montes se derriten a su paso y fluyen como cera puesta en el fuego; los valles se dividen como cortados por las aguas que se desbordan con fuerza.
Y debajo de él se derretirán los montes, y los valles se hendirán como la cera delante del fuego, como las aguas que corren por un precipicio.
And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place.
¿Y por qué ocurre esto? ¡Por los actos malvados cometidos por los israelitas, por las maldades de los descendientes de Jacob! En Samaria se admiran los actos malvados de los israelitas; en Jerusalén abundan las injusticias y toda clase de maldad.
Todo esto por la rebelión de Jacob, y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebelión de Jacob? ¿no es Samaria? ¿Y cuáles son los excelsos de Judá? ¿no es Jerusalem?
For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem?
Por lo tanto, toda la ciudad de Samaria será derribada y se convertirá en un montón de ruinas, se verá después del castigo como si fuera un campo arado para plantar viñas. El Señor destruirá sus murallas y sus fortalezas defensivas; dejará al descubierto sus cimientos, y las piedras con las que fueron construidas serán arrancadas y esparcidas por el valle.
Pondré pues á Samaria en majanos de heredad, en tierra de viñas; y derramaré sus piedras por el valle, y descubriré sus fundamentos.
Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations.
Todas las imágenes de sus ídolos serán destruidas, ya sea con fuego o a golpes de martillo. Como esos ídolos fueron hechos con el salario que recibían las prostitutas, serán quemados y convertidos en monedas para pagar a las prostitutas.
Y todas sus estatuas serán despedazadas, y todos sus dones serán quemados en fuego, y asolaré todos sus ídolos; porque de dones de rameras los juntó, y á dones de rameras volverán.
And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
All her idols will be beaten to pieces, all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and I will destroy all her images; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.”
Lloraré y me sentiré muy triste; andaré descalzo y desnudo. Aullaré como si fuera un chacal, y chillaré como si fuera un avestruz herido.
Por tanto lamentaré y aullaré, y andaré despojado y desnudo; haré gemido como de chacales, y lamento como de avestruces.
Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
For this I will lament and wail. I will go stripped and naked. I will howl like the jackals and mourn like the ostriches.
El motivo de mi tristeza es que Samaria ha sido herida de muerte, y no hay remedio que la cure. Y lo peor es que su mal ha llegado hasta Judá. ¡Se ha extendido hasta la entrada de Jerusalén, que es mi pueblo!
Porque su llaga es dolorosa, que llegó hasta Judá; llegó hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, hasta Jerusalem.
For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
¡No digan nada de esto en la ciudad de Gat, ni se pongan a llorar! ¡Revuélquense en el polvo por la angustia y en la vergüenza de la ciudad de Bet Leafrá!
No lo digáis en Gath, ni lloréis mucho: revuélcate en el polvo de Beth-le-aphrah.
Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust.
Allí van los de Safir, llevados como esclavos, azotados, desnudos y avergonzados. Los habitantes de Zanán no se atreven a salir fuera de sus murallas. Los habitantes de Bet Ésel están llorando, y ustedes se quedan sin su apoyo.
Pásate desnuda con vergüenza, oh moradora de Saphir: la moradora de Saanán no salió al llanto de Beth-esel: tomará de vosotros su tardanza.
Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Beth-ezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection.
El pueblo de Marot en vano anhela días mejores; sólo amargura les espera porque el Señor ha extendido su castigo hasta alcanzar a Jerusalén.
Porque la moradora de Maroth tuvo dolor por el bien; por cuanto el mal descendió de Jehová hasta la puerta de Jerusalem.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from the LORD to the gate of Jerusalem.
¡Rápido! ¡Engancha los carros a los caballos y huye, pueblo de Laquis! Tú fuiste la primera de las ciudades de Judá que siguió el mal ejemplo de Israel. En ti se hallaron los mismos delitos que se cometieron en Israel.
Unce al carro dromedarios, oh moradora de Lachîs, que fuiste principio de pecado á la hija de Sión; porque en ti se inventaron las rebeliones de Israel.
O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.
Despídanse de Moréset Gat, pues no hay forma de salvarla. La ciudad de Aczib ha engañado a los reyes de Israel.
Por tanto, tú darás dones á Moreseth-gath: las casas de Achzib serán en mentira á los reyes de Israel.
Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.
Habitantes de Maresá, también contra ustedes será enviado un conquistador. ¡El orgullo de Israel irá a parar a Adulán!
Aun te traeré heredero, oh moradora de Maresah: la gloria de Israel vendrá hasta Adullam.
Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
I will yet bring a conqueror to you, inhabitants of Mareshah. The glory of Israel will come to Adullam.
Habitantes de Sion, rasúrense la barba y rápense la cabeza en señal de dolor, pues sus hijos, que ustedes tanto aman, serán llevados como esclavos a tierras lejanas.
Mésate y trasquílate por los hijos de tus delicias: ensancha tu calva como águila; porque fueron trasportados de ti.
Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture, for they have gone into captivity from you!
