Estas são as mensagens que o Senhor transmitiu a Miqueias, que vivia na cidade de Moresete, durante os reinados de Jotão, Acaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá. As mensagens eram endereçadas tanto a Samaria quanto a Jerusalém, e foram entregues a Miqueias em forma de visões.
PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Miqueas de Morasti en días de Jotham, Achâz, y Ezechîas, reyes de Judá: lo que vió sobre Samaria y Jerusalem.
The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Atenção! Ouçam todos os povos da terra, pois o Senhor, o Soberano, em seu santo templo, fez acusações contra vocês!
Oid, pueblos todos: está atenta, tierra, y todo lo que en ella hay: y el Señor Jehová, el Señor desde su santo templo sea testigo contra vosotros.
Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

Vejam! Ele se aproxima! Deixa o seu trono no céu e vem à terra, andando sobre os lugares mais altos da terra.

Eles se dissolvem sob seus pés e escorrem para os vales como cera derretida diante do fogo, como a água da chuva desce pela encosta de um morro.
Y debajo de él se derretirán los montes, y los valles se hendirán como la cera delante del fuego, como las aguas que corren por un precipicio.
And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

E por que tudo isso acontece? Por causa dos pecados de Jacó e da transgressão de Israel. Qual é o pecado de Jacó? Não é Samaria? E quem é o responsável por haver um altar idólatra em Judá? Acaso não é Jerusalém?
Todo esto por la rebelión de Jacob, y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebelión de Jacob? ¿no es Samaria? ¿Y cuáles son los excelsos de Judá? ¿no es Jerusalem?
For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem?
“Por isso, farei toda a cidade de Samaria virar um monte de entulho, um campo aberto, um lugar para plantar videiras! Derrubarei as muralhas e torres, farei seus alicerces aparecerem, e rolarei suas pedras morro abaixo.
Pondré pues á Samaria en majanos de heredad, en tierra de viñas; y derramaré sus piedras por el valle, y descubriré sus fundamentos.
Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations.
Todas as imagens talhadas serão esmigalhadas. Seus templos de ídolos, bem enfeitados, construídos com as ofertas dos adoradores, serão todos queimados”.

And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
All her idols will be beaten to pieces, all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and I will destroy all her images; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.”
Por isso, eu vou chorar e lamentar, uivando como um chacal e chorando como uma avestruz andando à noite nas areias do deserto. Vou andar nu e descalço em sinal de sofrimento e vergonha!
Por tanto lamentaré y aullaré, y andaré despojado y desnudo; haré gemido como de chacales, y lamento como de avestruces.
Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Porque a ferida do meu povo é profunda demais para ser curada. O Senhor está às portas de Jerusalém, pronto para puni-la.
Porque su llaga es dolorosa, que llegó hasta Judá; llegó hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, hasta Jerusalem.
For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Pobre cidade de Gate! Chorem, homens de Baca. Moradores de Bete-Le-Afra, arrastem-se na poeira por causa de sua angústia e vergonha.
No lo digáis en Gath, ni lloréis mucho: revuélcate en el polvo de Beth-le-aphrah.
Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust.
Lá vão os habitantes de Safir, levados como escravos, nus, descalços e envergonhados. Os moradores de Zaanã não têm coragem de sair dos muros da cidade. Os moradores de Bete-Ezel estão em prantos porque a sua proteção foi tirada!
Pásate desnuda con vergüenza, oh moradora de Saphir: la moradora de Saanán no salió al llanto de Beth-esel: tomará de vosotros su tardanza.
Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Beth-ezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection.
O povo de Marote espera em vão por dias melhores, mas aquele que os espera só encontra amargura, pois o Senhor está em posição de combate contra Jerusalém.
Porque la moradora de Maroth tuvo dolor por el bien; por cuanto el mal descendió de Jehová hasta la puerta de Jerusalem.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

Depressa! Usem seus carros mais rápidos e fujam, habitantes de Laquis! Porque vocês foram a primeira cidade a dar início ao pecado da cidade de Sião e a seguir Israel no pecado de adoração de ídolos. Depois disso, todas as cidades de Israel começaram a seguir o seu exemplo.

O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.
Por isso darão presentes de despedida a Moresete de Gate. A cidade de Aczibe enganou os reis de Israel, prometendo ajuda que não podia dar.
Por tanto, tú darás dones á Moreseth-gath: las casas de Achzib serán en mentira á los reyes de Israel.
Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.
Vocês, moradores de Maressa, serão um prêmio dado a seus inimigos. Aquele que é a glória de Israel vai chegar a Adulão.
Aun te traeré heredero, oh moradora de Maresah: la gloria de Israel vendrá hasta Adullam.
Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
I will yet bring a conqueror to you, inhabitants of Mareshah. The glory of Israel will come to Adullam.
Rapem a cabeça e chorem por causa de seus filhinhos, que dão tanta alegria a vocês. Fiquem calvos como a águia porque eles serão tirados à força de suas mãos e serão levados para o exílio.
Mésate y trasquílate por los hijos de tus delicias: ensancha tu calva como águila; porque fueron trasportados de ti.
Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture, for they have gone into captivity from you!
