1¡Ay de los que se pasan la noche tramando el mal, y se levantan de madrugada para ejecutar lo que planearon, porque tienen el poder para hacerlo!
2¡No se detienen ante nada para cometer sus maldades! Codician la parcela o la casa de una persona, aunque sea todo lo que esta persona posee, y se la quitan por medio de fraudes, amenazas y violencia. Amenazan al dueño de la casa junto con toda su familia, y le roban lo que tiene.
3Pero el Señor dice: «Les daré mal por mal, y nada me detendrá; tengo planeado mandar una gran desgracia contra ustedes, de la cual no podrán escapar. Después de lo que les voy a hacer, ya no andarán pavoneándose con tanta arrogancia.
4Cuando llegue ese día, la gente se burlará de ustedes y les dedicarán este triste canto: “¡Estamos acabados, arruinados! Dios nos ha quitado nuestras tierras y se las ha dado a otros, quienes se las reparten echando suertes, y a nosotros nos ha enviado a vivir muy lejos de nuestro país”».
5Por eso, israelitas, ustedes no volverán a ser parte del pueblo del Señor.
6«No digan tonterías, no sigan diciendo que la desgracia vendrá sobre nosotros, porque no será así», le dice la gente a los profetas.
7Esta gente dice también: «¿Acaso creen que la descendencia de Jacob está maldita? ¿Creen que Dios ha dejado de ser paciente con nosotros? ¿Acaso las palabras del Señor no son siempre para nuestro bien? ¡Nunca nos irá mal, pues somos el pueblo justo!».
8Antes ustedes eran mi pueblo, pero ahora se han convertido en mis enemigos. Son tan malos que a los que regresan agotados de la guerra, ustedes les arrebatan su ropa.
9A las mujeres de mi pueblo les roban sus casas, donde vivían seguras, y a sus hijos les quitan todo aquello que yo mismo les proporcioné.
10¡Levántense! ¡Márchense de aquí, pues este ya no es un lugar seguro para vivir! ¡Voy a destruir este lugar a consecuencia de las muchas maldades que ustedes cometen! ¡Recibirán altos intereses por la cantidad de maldades acumuladas!
11Si un falso profeta viniera y les dijera: «Les anunciaré cosas muy lindas a cambio de alguna botella de vino», seguro que ustedes lo recibirían con los brazos abiertos.
12Vendrá el día en que yo reuniré al grupo de sobrevivientes de Israel, y los pastorearé como si fueran ovejas de un redil, como rebaño en las praderas, y serán de nuevo un pueblo alegre y con ánimo de fiesta.
13Yo mismo los sacaré del exilio, los conduciré de nuevo a la libertad, y los llevaré de regreso a su propia tierra. Yo, el Señor, que soy su Rey, iré delante de ellos abriéndoles camino.

1¡AY de los que piensan iniquidad, y de los que fabrican el mal en sus camas! Cuando viene la mañana lo ponen en obra, porque tienen en su mano el poder.
2Y codiciaron las heredades, y robáronlas: y casas, y las tomaron: oprimieron al hombre y á su casa, al hombre y á su heredad.
3Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí, yo pienso sobre esta familia un mal, del cual no sacaréis vuestros cuellos, ni andaréis erguidos; porque el tiempo será malo.
4En aquel tiempo se levantará sobre vosotros refrán, y se endechará endecha de lamentación, diciendo: Del todo fuimos destruídos; ha cambiado la parte de mi pueblo. ¡Cómo nos quitó nuestros campos! dió, repartiólos á otros.
5Por tanto, no tendrás quien eche cordel para suerte en la congregación de Jehová.
6No profeticéis, dicen á los que profetizan; no les profeticen que los ha de comprender vergüenza.
7La que te dices casa de Jacob, ¿hase acortado el espíritu de Jehová? ¿son éstas sus obras? ¿Mis palabras no hacen bien al que camina derechamente?
8El que ayer era mi pueblo, se ha levantado como enemigo: tras las vestiduras quitasteis las capas atrevidamente á los que pasaban, como los que vuelven de la guerra.
9A las mujeres de mi pueblo echasteis fuera de las casas de sus delicias: á sus niños quitasteis mi perpetua alabanza.
10Levantaos, y andad, que no es ésta la holganza; porque está contaminada, corrompióse, y de grande corrupción.
11Si hubiere alguno que ande con el viento, y finja mentiras diciendo: Yo te profetizaré de vino y de sidra; este tal será profeta á este pueblo.
12De cierto te reuniré todo, oh Jacob: recogeré ciertamente el resto de Israel: pondrélo junto como ovejas de Bosra, como rebaño en mitad de su majada: harán estruendo por la multitud de los hombres.
13Subirá rompedor delante de ellos; romperán y pasarán la puerta, y saldrán por ella: y su rey pasará delante de ellos, y á la cabeza de ellos Jehová.

1Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
4In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
5Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
6Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
7O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
8Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
9The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
10Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
11If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
12I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
13The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.

1Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2They covet fields and seize them, and houses, then take them away. They oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3Therefore the LORD says: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily, for it is an evil time.
4In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”
5Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in the LORD’s assembly.
6“Don’t prophesy!”—they prophesy— “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.”
7Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the LORD’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”
8But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
9You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.
10Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.
11If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.
12I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob. I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture. They will swarm with people.
13He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. Their king passes on before them, with the LORD at their head.
