Ouçam o que o Senhor está dizendo ao seu povo: “Levantem-se e apresentem sua queixa contra mim. Chamem os montes para serem testemunhas.
OID ahora lo que dice Jehová: Levántate, pleitea con los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Listen now to what the LORD says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
“E agora, montes, ouçam a acusação do Senhor! Ouçam, alicerces eternos da terra! Pois o Senhor tem uma acusação contra o seu povo. Ele vai prosseguir com as acusações até que Israel seja condenado.
Oid, montes, y fuertes fundamentos de la tierra, el pleito de Jehová: porque tiene Jehová pleito con su pueblo, y altercará con Israel.
Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
Hear, you mountains, the LORD’s indictment, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
Meu povo, o que foi que eu fiz para vocês me abandonarem assim? Será que exigi demais de vocês? Respondam-me!
Pueblo mío, ¿qué te he hecho, ó en qué te he molestado? Responde contra mí.
O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
Eu os tirei do Egito, quebrei as correntes de sua escravidão e lhes dei Moisés, Arão e Miriam para conduzi-los.
Porque yo te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y de la casa de siervos te redimí; y envié delante de ti á Moisés, y á Aarón, y á María.
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

“Vocês não se lembram de como Balaque, rei de Moabe, tentou destruir vocês com a maldição de Balaão, filho de Beor, e de como eu fiz Balaão abençoá-los? Foi essa mesma bondade que eu mostrei a vocês tantas outras vezes. Por acaso já não se lembram do que aconteceu desde que saíram do acampamento de Sitim até Gilgal, de como eu os abençoei ali? Reconheçam que os atos do Senhor são justos”.
Pueblo mío, acuérdate ahora qué aconsejó Balac rey de Moab, y qué le respondió Balaam, hijo de Beor, desde Sittim hasta Gilgal, para que conozcas las justicias de Jehová.
O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

Como eu poderia comparecer diante do Senhor e curvar-me diante do Deus Altíssimo? Será que devo apresentar um bezerro de um ano como oferta queimada?
¿Con qué prevendré á Jehová, y adoraré al alto Dios? ¿vendré ante él con holocaustos, con becerros de un año?
Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

Será que o Senhor se agrada se eu oferecer milhares de carneiros com dez mil rios de azeite? Será que ele ficará satisfeito? Será que devo oferecer o meu filho mais velho, por causa da minha transgressão? Será que com tudo isso ele perdoará meus pecados? Não!
¿Agradaráse Jehová de millares de carneros, ó de diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿daré mi primogénito por mi rebelión, el fruto de mi vientre por el pecado de mi alma?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Ele já disse o que deseja, e isso se resume em ser honesto e justo, saber amar a fidelidade, e ser humilde diante do seu Deus.
Oh hombre, él te ha declarado qué sea lo bueno, y qué pida de ti Jehová: solamente hacer juicio, y amar misericordia, y humillarte para andar con tu Dios.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
A voz do Senhor grita a toda a Jerusalém — e se você for sábio, ouça ao Senhor! “Ouçam, tribo de Judá e suas assembleias:
La voz de Jehová clama á la ciudad, y el sabio mirará á tu nombre. Oid la vara, y á quien la establece.
The LORD’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
The LORD’s voice calls to the city— and wisdom fears your name— “Listen to the rod, and he who appointed it.
Os seus pecados são enormes. Não haverá fim para o enriquecimento desonesto? As casas dos perversos estão cheias de riquezas roubadas e de balanças falsas.
¿Hay aún en casa del impío tesoros de impiedad, y medida escasa que es detestable?
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?

Será que alguém poderia aprovar todos os seus comerciantes, que têm em suas bolsas pesos falsos, adulterados?
¿Seré limpio con peso falso, y con bolsa de engañosas pesas?
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
Shall I tolerate dishonest scales, and a bag of deceitful weights?
Os ricos enriqueceram por meio da violência. Os seus moradores estão tão acostumados a mentir que já não sabem mais dizer a verdade!
Con lo cual sus ricos se hinchieron de rapiña, y sus moradores hablaron mentira, y su lengua engañosa en su boca.
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

“Por isso, eu os farei sofrer! Vou deixar seus corações angustiados por causa dos pecados que vocês cometeram.
Por eso yo también te enflaqueceré hiriéndote, asolándote por tus pecados.
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
Vocês comerão, mas nunca ficarão satisfeitos. Sentirão um vazio no estômago e as dores da fome. Mesmo que vocês tentem economizar dinheiro, o que conseguirem ajuntar perderá todo o valor, e o pouco que conseguirem poupar darei aos que conquistarem sua terra!
Tú comerás, y no te hartarás; y tu abatimiento será en medio de ti: tú cogerás, mas no salvarás; y lo que salvares, lo entregaré yo á la espada.
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.
You shall eat, but not be satisfied. Your hunger will be within you. You will store up, but not save, and that which you save I will give up to the sword.
Vocês vão plantar, mas não vão colher. Espremerão as azeitonas para conseguir azeite, mas não conseguirão o bastante para ungirem a si mesmos! Espremerão as uvas, mas não beberão o seu vinho.
Tú sembrarás, mas no segarás: pisarás aceitunas, mas no te ungirás con el aceite; y mosto, mas no beberás el vino.
Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
You will sow, but won’t reap. You will tread the olives, but won’t anoint yourself with oil; and crush grapes, but won’t drink the wine.
“Os únicos mandamentos que vocês obedecem são os de Onri; o único exemplo são as práticas da família de Acabe! Por isso, farei de vocês um terrível exemplo. Eu os destruirei. O seu povo será motivo de desprezo e zombaria. Vocês serão insultados por todos os povos”.
Porque los mandamientos de Omri se han guardado, y toda obra de la casa de Achâb; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados. Llevaréis por tanto el oprobio de mi pueblo.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
