Escuchad lo que me dice el Señor: ¡Ea, pues, oh profeta!, ventila en juicio mi causa contra los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
OID ahora lo que dice Jehová: Levántate, pleitea con los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Listen now to what the LORD says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
Oigan la defensa del Señor los montes y los fuertes cimientos de la tierra porque entra el Señor en juicio con su propio pueblo, y tiene pleito con Israel.
Oid, montes, y fuertes fundamentos de la tierra, el pleito de Jehová: porque tiene Jehová pleito con su pueblo, y altercará con Israel.
Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
Hear, you mountains, the LORD’s indictment, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
¿Qué es lo que yo te he hecho, ¡oh pueblo mío!, o en qué cosa te he agraviado? Respóndeme.
Pueblo mío, ¿qué te he hecho, ó en qué te he molestado? Responde contra mí.
O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
¿Acaso porque te saqué de tierra de Egipto, y te libré de la casa de la esclavitud, y envié delante de ti a Moisés, a Aarón y a María?
Porque yo te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y de la casa de siervos te redimí; y envié delante de ti á Moisés, y á Aarón, y á María.
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

Pueblo mío, haz memoria, te pido, del designio que formó contra ti Balac, rey de Moab, y de la respuesta que le dio Balaam , hijo de Beor; y de lo que pasó desde Settim hasta Gálgala, a fin de que conocieses la justicia o fidelidad del Señor.
Pueblo mío, acuérdate ahora qué aconsejó Balac rey de Moab, y qué le respondió Balaam, hijo de Beor, desde Sittim hasta Gilgal, para que conozcas las justicias de Jehová.
O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

¿Qué ofreceré, pues, al Señor que sea digno de él, a fin de aplacarle? ¿Doblaré la rodilla ante el Dios excelso? ¿Le ofreceré holocaustos y becerros de un año?
¿Con qué prevendré á Jehová, y adoraré al alto Dios? ¿vendré ante él con holocaustos, con becerros de un año?
Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
How shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
Pero ¿y acaso puede el Señor aplacarse por medio de millares de carneros que se le sacrifiquen, o con muchos millares de gordos machos cabríos? ¿Le sacrificaré acaso por mi delito al hijo mío primogénito, o a alguno de mis hijos por el pecado que he cometido?
¿Agradaráse Jehová de millares de carneros, ó de diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿daré mi primogénito por mi rebelión, el fruto de mi vientre por el pecado de mi alma?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
¡Oh hombre!, responde el profeta, yo te mostraré lo que conviene hacer, y yo lo que el Señor pide de ti que es que obres con justicia, y que ames la misericordia, y que andes solícito en el servico de tu Dios.
Oh hombre, él te ha declarado qué sea lo bueno, y qué pida de ti Jehová: solamente hacer juicio, y amar misericordia, y humillarte para andar con tu Dios.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
Resuena la voz del Señor en la ciudad, y aquellos que temen, ¡oh Dios!, tu santo Nombre, se salvarán. Escuchad vosotras, ¡oh tribus!; pero ¿y quién será el que obedezca?
La voz de Jehová clama á la ciudad, y el sabio mirará á tu nombre. Oid la vara, y á quien la establece.
The LORD’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
The LORD’s voice calls to the city— and wisdom fears your name— “Listen to the rod, and he who appointed it.
Aún están en casa del impío, como fuego devorador, los tesoros inicuamente adquiridos; y llena está de la ira del Señor la medida corta de que usaba.
¿Hay aún en casa del impío tesoros de impiedad, y medida escasa que es detestable?
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a short ephah that is accursed?
¿Por ventura deberé yo tener por justa la balanza que es infiel, o por cabales los pesos falsos del saquillo?
¿Seré limpio con peso falso, y con bolsa de engañosas pesas?
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
Shall I tolerate dishonest scales, and a bag of deceitful weights?
Por medio de estas cosas los ricos de Jerusalén se han llenado de riquezas injustas, y sus habitantes están estafando, teniendo en su boca una lengua engañadora.
Con lo cual sus ricos se hinchieron de rapiña, y sus moradores hablaron mentira, y su lengua engañosa en su boca.
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

Por eso he empezado yo a castigarte y a asolarte por causa de tus pecados.
Por eso yo también te enflaqueceré hiriéndote, asolándote por tus pecados.
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
Comerás y no te saciarás; y en medio de ti estará la causa de tu calamidad. Tendrás fecundidad, mas no salvarás a tus hijos; y si los salvares, yo los haré perecer al filo de la espada.
Tú comerás, y no te hartarás; y tu abatimiento será en medio de ti: tú cogerás, mas no salvarás; y lo que salvares, lo entregaré yo á la espada.
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.
You shall eat, but not be satisfied. Your hunger will be within you. You will store up, but not save, and that which you save I will give up to the sword.
Sembrarás y no segarás, prensarás la aceituna, y no te ungirás con el óleo; y pisarás la uva, y no beberás el vino.
Tú sembrarás, mas no segarás: pisarás aceitunas, mas no te ungirás con el aceite; y mosto, mas no beberás el vino.
Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
You will sow, but won’t reap. You will tread the olives, but won’t anoint yourself with oil; and crush grapes, but won’t drink the wine.
Porque tú has observado lo que te enseñó tu impío rey Amri y todos los usos de la casa de Acab, y has seguido todos sus antojos, para que yo te abandonase, ¡oh Jerusalén !, a la perdición, y al escarnio a tus moradores. Y vosotros, ¡oh poderosos!, llevaréis el castigo del oprobio causado al pueblo mío.
Porque los mandamientos de Omri se han guardado, y toda obra de la casa de Achâb; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados. Llevaréis por tanto el oprobio de mi pueblo.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
