OID ahora lo que dice Jehová: Levántate, pleitea con los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Listen now to what the LORD says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
Montagnes, écoutez le litige du Seigneur, et vous géants, fondements de la terre! Car l'Eternel est en procès avec son peuple, il est en discussion avec Israël:
Oid, montes, y fuertes fundamentos de la tierra, el pleito de Jehová: porque tiene Jehová pleito con su pueblo, y altercará con Israel.
Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
Hear, you mountains, the LORD’s indictment, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
"O mon peuple! Que t'ai-je fait? Comment te suis-je devenu à charge? Expose tes griefs contre moi.
Pueblo mío, ¿qué te he hecho, ó en qué te he molestado? Responde contra mí.
O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
Est-ce parce que je t'ai tiré du pays d'Egypte et délivré de la maison d'esclavage? Parce que je t'ai donné pour guides Moïse, Aaron et Miriam?
Porque yo te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y de la casa de siervos te redimí; y envié delante de ti á Moisés, y á Aarón, y á María.
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

O mon peuple! Rappelle-toi seulement ce que méditait Balak, roi de Moab, et ce que lui répondit Balaam, fils de Beor; de Chittîm à Ghilgal, tu as pu connaître les bontés de l'Eternel!"
Pueblo mío, acuérdate ahora qué aconsejó Balac rey de Moab, y qué le respondió Balaam, hijo de Beor, desde Sittim hasta Gilgal, para que conozcas las justicias de Jehová.
O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

"Mais quel hommage offrirai-je au Seigneur? Comment montrerai-je ma soumission au Dieu suprême? Me présenterai-je devant lui avec des holocaustes, avec des veaux âgés d'un an?
¿Con qué prevendré á Jehová, y adoraré al alto Dios? ¿vendré ante él con holocaustos, con becerros de un año?
Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

Le Seigneur prendra-t-il plaisir à des hécatombes de béliers, à des torrents d'huile par myriades? Donnerai-je mon premier-né pour ma faute, le fruit de mes entrailles comme rançon expiatoire de ma vie?"
¿Agradaráse Jehová de millares de carneros, ó de diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿daré mi primogénito por mi rebelión, el fruto de mi vientre por el pecado de mi alma?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

Homme, on t'a dit ce qui est bien, ce que le Seigneur demande de toi: rien que de pratiquer la justice, d'aimer la bonté et de marcher humblement avec ton Dieu!
Oh hombre, él te ha declarado qué sea lo bueno, y qué pida de ti Jehová: solamente hacer juicio, y amar misericordia, y humillarte para andar con tu Dios.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
La voix de l'Eternel interpelle la ville, et l'homme de vérité reconnaît ton nom. Ecoutez la menace du châtiment et celui qui le décrète!
La voz de Jehová clama á la ciudad, y el sabio mirará á tu nombre. Oid la vara, y á quien la establece.
The LORD’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Se peut-il que la maison du méchant contienne encore des trésors mal acquis et ces mesures si odieusement amoindries?
¿Hay aún en casa del impío tesoros de impiedad, y medida escasa que es detestable?
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?

¿Seré limpio con peso falso, y con bolsa de engañosas pesas?
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?

N'est-ce pas que ses richards se gorgent de rapines, que ses habitants débitent des mensonges et que la langue, dans leur bouche, n'est que perfidie?
Con lo cual sus ricos se hinchieron de rapiña, y sus moradores hablaron mentira, y su lengua engañosa en su boca.

Aussi vais-je, moi, te rendre malade à force de coups et te ruiner pour tes péchés.
Por eso yo también te enflaqueceré hiriéndote, asolándote por tus pecados.
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

Tu mangeras et ne seras pas rassasié, la nourriture produira un affaissement dans tes membres. Ce que tu mettras en sûreté, tu ne le sauveras point, et ce que tu pourras sauver, je le livrerai au glaive.
Tú comerás, y no te hartarás; y tu abatimiento será en medio de ti: tú cogerás, mas no salvarás; y lo que salvares, lo entregaré yo á la espada.
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.

C'est qu'on pratique les mœurs d'Omri et toutes les coutumes de la maison d'Achab; c'est que vous marchez dans leurs traditions; en sorte que je ferai de toi une ruine et de tes habitants un sujet de sarcasme: vous serez chargés de l'opprobre de mon peuple.
Porque los mandamientos de Omri se han guardado, y toda obra de la casa de Achâb; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados. Llevaréis por tanto el oprobio de mi pueblo.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
