1Ai de mim! Porque sou como quando os frutos do verão são colhidos, como quando são tiradas as sobras das uvas da vindima, de modo que não resta cacho de uvas para comer; minha alma deseja frutos.

1Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.
World English Bible
1Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard. There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.
