¡Ay de mí! que he llegado a ser como aquel que en otoño anda rebuscando lo que ha quedado de la vendimia. No hallo un racimo para comer; en vano mi alma ha deseado los higos tempranos.
¡AY de mí! que he venido á ser como cuando han cogido los frutos del verano, como cuando han rebuscado después de la vendimia, que no queda racimo para comer; mi alma deseó primeros frutos.
Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.
Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard. There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.
No hay ya un santo sobre la tierra; no se halla un justo entre los hombres; cada uno pone asechanzas a la vida del otro; cada cual anda a caza de sus hermanos para quitarles la vida.
Faltó el misericordioso de la tierra, y ninguno hay recto entre los hombres: todos acechan á la sangre; cada cual arma red á su hermano.
The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Al mal que ellos hacen le dan el nombre de bien. El príncipe demanda contra el pobre, y el juez está siempre dispuesto a satisfacerlo. El poderoso manifiesta con descaro lo que codicia su alma, tienen la tierra llena de desorden.
Para completar la maldad con sus manos, el príncipe demanda, y el juez juzga por recompensa; y el grande habla el antojo de su alma, y lo confirman.
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe. The powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.
El mejor de ellos es como cardo; el más justo es como espino de cercas. Llega el día de tus escudriñadores, y el día en que tú has de tomarles cuentas, ahora van a ser ellos destruidos.
El mejor de ellos es como el cambrón; el más recto, como zarzal: el día de tus atalayas, tu visitación, viene; ahora será su confusión.
The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

No confíes en el amigo; ni os fíes del que gobierna. No descubras los secretos de tu corazón a la que duerme contigo.
No creáis en amigo, ni confiéis en príncipe: de la que duerme á tu lado, guarda, no abras tu boca.
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
Don’t trust in a neighbor. Don’t put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth!
Pues el hijo ultraja al padre y se rebela contra su madre la hija, y contra su suegra la nuera; son enemigos del hombre los mismos de su casa o familia.
Porque el hijo deshonra al padre, la hija se levanta contra la madre, la nuera contra su suegra: y los enemigos del hombre son los de su casa.

No tienes que holgarte por mi ruina, ¡oh tú, enemiga mía!, que todavía yo volveré a levantarme; y cuando estuviere en las tinieblas del cautiverio, el Señor será mi luz y consolación.
Tú, enemiga mía, no te huelgues de mí: porque aunque caí, he de levantarme; aunque more en tinieblas, Jehová será mi luz.
Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Yo sufriré el castigo del Señor, pues pequé contra él, hasta tanto que él juzgue mi causa, y se declare en favor mío. El me volverá a la luz del día, y yo veré su justicia.

Y esto lo presenciará la enemiga mía, y quedará cubierta de confusión la que me dice: ¿En dónde está ahora el Señor Dios tuyo? Yo fijaré mis ojos sobre ella, hollada será ella ahora como el lodo de las calles.
Y mi enemiga verá, y la cubrirá vergüenza: la que me decía: ¿Dónde está Jehová tu Dios? Mis ojos la verán; ahora será hollada como lodo de las calles.
Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

El día en que sean restauradas tus ruinas, en aquel día será alejada de ti la tiranía.

Y aquella tierra de los caldeos será asolada, a causa de sus moradores y en pago de sus perversos pensamientos.

Apacienta tu pueblo con tu cayado, el rebaño de tu heredad, que mora solo en la montaña, en medio del Carmelo: pazcan en Basán y Galaad, como en el tiempo pasado.

Sí, dice el Señor. Yo te haré ver prodigios, como cuando saliste de la tierra de Egipto.
Yo les mostraré maravillas como el día que saliste de Egipto.
According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

Lo verán las naciones, y quedarán confundidas con todo su poder, no osarán abrir la boca, y sus oídos quedarán sordos.
Las gentes verán, y se avergonzarán de todas sus valentías; pondrán la mano sobre su boca, ensordecerán sus oídos.
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

Lamerán el suelo como las serpientes, y como insectos de la tierra se aturdirán y me meterán dentro de sus casas, temerán al Señor Dios nuestro, y tendrán miedo de ti, ¡oh Israel!
Lamerán el polvo como la culebra; como las serpientes de la tierra, temblarán en sus encierros: despavorirse han de Jehová nuestro Dios, y temerán de ti.
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

¿Quién es, oh Dios, semejante a ti que perdonas la maldad y olvidas el pecado de las reliquias de Israel herencia tuya? No dará ya el Señor libre curso a su indignación, porque él es amante de la misericordia.
¿Qué Dios como tú, que perdonas la maldad, y olvidas el pecado del resto de su heredad? No retuvo para siempre su enojo, porque es amador de misericordia.
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
Se volverá hacia nosotros, y nos tendrá compasión. Sepultará en el olvido nuestras maldades, y arrojará a lo más profundo del mar todos nuestros pecados.
El tornará, él tendrá misericordia de nosotros; él sujetará nuestras iniquidades, y echará en los profundos de la mar todos nuestros pecados.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Tú, ¡oh Dios mío!, te mostrarás veraz a Jacob y misericordioso a Abrahán; como lo juraste antiguamente a nuestros padres.
Otorgarás á Jacob la verdad, y á Abraham la misericordia, que tú juraste á nuestros padres desde tiempos antiguos.
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
