¡AY de mí! que he venido á ser como cuando han cogido los frutos del verano, como cuando han rebuscado después de la vendimia, que no queda racimo para comer; mi alma deseó primeros frutos.
Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

Se han ido todas las buenas personas, no queda ninguno que haga el bien. Todos procuran asesinar a otros; tratan de tender trampas hasta a sus propios hermanos.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Son expertos en hacer el mal; tanto los oficiales como los jueces piden sobornos; los poderosos exigen según sus ambiciones malvadas; y conspiran juntos para obtener lo que desean.
Para completar la maldad con sus manos, el príncipe demanda, y el juez juzga por recompensa; y el grande habla el antojo de su alma, y lo confirman.
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe. The powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.
Hasta el mejor de ellos es como un arbusto con espinas, y el mas honesto como un seto espinoso. Ha llegado el día de tu juicio y castigo que fue anunciado por los profetas. Ahora estás en total confusión.
El mejor de ellos es como el cambrón; el más recto, como zarzal: el día de tus atalayas, tu visitación, viene; ahora será su confusión.
The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

No confíes en tu prójimo, ni te fíes de un amigo. Cuida los que dices, incluso al que duerme en tu regazo.
No creáis en amigo, ni confiéis en príncipe: de la que duerme á tu lado, guarda, no abras tu boca.
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
Don’t trust in a neighbor. Don’t put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth!
Porque un hijo trata a su padre con desprecio; una hija se opone a su madre; y una nuera a su suegra. Tus enemigos están en tu propia familia.
Porque el hijo deshonra al padre, la hija se levanta contra la madre, la nuera contra su suegra: y los enemigos del hombre son los de su casa.

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Soportaré el enojo del Señor porque he pecado contra él. Pero después él peleará mi caso y me hará justicia. Él me traerá a la luz, y yo veré su integridad.
La ira de Jehová soportaré, porque pequé contra él, hasta que juzgue mi causa y haga mi juicio; él me sacará á luz; veré su justicia.
I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

Entonces mis enemigos se darán cuenta y cubrirán su cara de vergüenza por burlarse de mi, y me preguntarán: “¿Dónde está el Señor tu Dios?” Y con mis propios ojos veré lo que les sucederá. Serán pisoteados como barro por las calles.
Y mi enemiga verá, y la cubrirá vergüenza: la que me decía: ¿Dónde está Jehová tu Dios? Mis ojos la verán; ahora será hollada como lodo de las calles.
Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

Ese día será el momento para reconstruir tus muros. Ese día tus fronteras serán ensanchadas.

Pero el resto de la tierra quedará desolada por lo que han hecho los que allí habitan.

Apacienta tu pueblo con tu cayado, el rebaño de tu heredad, que mora solo en la montaña, en medio del Carmelo: pazcan en Basán y Galaad, como en el tiempo pasado.
Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

Como cuando saliste de la tierra de Egipto, yo haré milagros a tu favor.

Las naciones verán y serán humilladas a pesar de su fuerza. Con sus manos cubrirán sus bocas, y sus oídos quedarán sordos.
Las gentes verán, y se avergonzarán de todas sus valentías; pondrán la mano sobre su boca, ensordecerán sus oídos.
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

Lamerán el polvo como las serpientes, y serán como reptiles que se arrastran sobre la tierra. Saldrán temblando de sus castillos para encontrarse con el Señor nuestro Dios, temerosos y aterrorizados ante él.
Lamerán el polvo como la culebra; como las serpientes de la tierra, temblarán en sus encierros: despavorirse han de Jehová nuestro Dios, y temerán de ti.
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

¿Quién es un Dios como tú, que perdona el pecado y olvida la rebelión de los que aún quedan en su pueblo especial? Tu no persistes en tu enojo, pues te deleitas en mostrar amor incondicional.
¿Qué Dios como tú, que perdonas la maldad, y olvidas el pecado del resto de su heredad? No retuvo para siempre su enojo, porque es amador de misericordia.
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
Tú tendrás compasión de nosotros nuevamente. Tu pisotearás nuestros pecados, y los lanzarás al fondo del mar.
El tornará, él tendrá misericordia de nosotros; él sujetará nuestras iniquidades, y echará en los profundos de la mar todos nuestros pecados.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Con fidelidad le darás tu verdad al pueblo de Jacob, y tu amor al pueblo de Abraham, tal como se lo prometiste a nuestros padres hace mucho tiempo atrás.
Otorgarás á Jacob la verdad, y á Abraham la misericordia, que tú juraste á nuestros padres desde tiempos antiguos.
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
