Und von dannen machte Er Sich auf und kam in die Grenzen Judäas durch die Gegenden jenseits des Jordan; und ein Gedränge zog wieder zusammen, Ihm zu, und wie Er gewohnt war, lehrte Er sie wieder.

Y PARTIÉNDOSE de allí, vino á los términos de Judea y tras el Jordán: y volvió el pueblo á juntarse á él; y de nuevo les enseñaba como solía.

And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judæa by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he was again teaching them.

Und die Pharisäer kamen herzu und fragten Ihn, ob es einem Manne erlaubt sei, sich von seinem Weibe zu scheiden, und versuchten Ihn damit.

Y llegándose los Fariseos, le preguntaron, para tentarle, si era lícito al marido repudiar á su mujer.

And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Was hat euch Moses geboten?

Mas él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿Qué os mandó Moisés?

And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

He answered, “What did Moses command you?”

Sie aber sprachen: Moses hat gestattet einen Scheidebrief zu schreiben und sich zu scheiden.

Y ellos dijeron: Moisés permitió escribir carta de divorcio, y repudiar.

And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”

Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Um eures Herzens Härtigkeit willen hat Moses euch solch Gebot geschrieben.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Por la dureza de vuestro corazón os escribió este mandamiento;

And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.

Von Anfang der Schöpfung an aber machte Gott sie männlich und weiblich.

Pero al principio de la creación, varón y hembra los hizo Dios.

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.

Darum soll der Mensch Vater und Mutter verlassen und seinem Weibe anhangen;

Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se juntará á su mujer.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife,

Und die zwei sollen sein ein Fleisch. So sind sie denn nicht mehr zwei, sondern ein Fleisch.

Y los que eran dos, serán hechos una carne: así que no son más dos, sino una carne.

And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Was denn Gott zusammengefügt hat, das soll der Mensch nicht trennen.

Pues lo que Dios juntó, no lo aparte el hombre.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Und im Hause fragten Ihn Seine Jünger abermals über dasselbe.

Y en casa volvieron los discípulos á preguntarle de lo mismo.

And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

In the house, his disciples asked him again about the same matter.

Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wer sich von seinem Weibe scheidet und freiet eine andere, der bricht die Ehe an ihr.

Y les dice: Cualquiera que repudiare á su mujer, y se casare con otra, comete adulterio contra ella:

And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

Und so sich ein Weib scheidet von ihrem Manne und freiet einen anderen, die bricht die Ehe.

Y si la mujer repudiare á su marido y se casare con otro, comete adulterio.

And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

If a woman herself divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

Und sie brachten Kindlein herzu, daß Er sie berührete. Die Jünger aber bedrohten die, so sie herbrachten.

Y le presentaban niños para que los tocase; y los discípulos reñían á los que los presentaban.

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.

Da es aber Jesus sah, ward Er unwillig und sprach zu ihnen: Lasset die Kindlein zu Mir kommen und wehret ihnen nicht; denn solcher ist das Reich Gottes.

Y viéndolo Jesús, se enojó, y les dijo: Dejad los niños venir, y no se lo estorbéis; porque de los tales es el reino de Dios.

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Wer das Reich Gottes nicht aufnimmt, wie ein Kindlein, der wird nicht hineinkommen.

De cierto os digo, que el que no recibiere el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

Und Er schloß sie in Seine Arme, legte die Hände auf sie und segnete sie.

Y tomándolos en los brazos, poniendo las manos sobre ellos, los bendecía.

And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Und da Er hinauskam auf den Weg, lief einer herzu, fiel vor Ihm auf die Knie und fragte Ihn: Guter Lehrer, was soll ich tun, daß ich das ewige Leben ererbe?

Y saliendo él para ir su camino, vino uno corriendo, é hincando la rodilla delante de él, le preguntó: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para poseer la vida eterna?

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Was nennst du Mich gut? Niemand ist gut, den der Eine, Gott.

Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me dices bueno? Ninguno hay bueno, sino sólo uno, Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one—God.

Du weißt die Gebote: Du sollst nicht ehebrechen, du sollst nicht morden, du sollst nicht stehlen, du sollst kein falsch Zeugnis geben, du sollst nicht übervorteilen. Ehre deinen Vater und die Mutter.

Los mandamientos sabes: No adulteres: No mates: No hurtes: No digas falso testimonio: No defraudes: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and mother.’”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu Ihm: Lehrer, das hab ich alles gehalten von meiner Jugend auf.

El entonces respondiendo, le dijo: Maestro, todo esto he guardado desde mi mocedad.

And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

He said to him, “Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”

Jesus aber blickte ihn an, und liebte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Eins mangelt dir. Gehe hin, verkaufe, was du hast, und gib es den Armen, so wirst du einen Schatz im Himmel haben; und komme her, folge Mir nach und nimm das Kreuz auf dich.

Entonces Jesús mirándole, amóle, y díjole: Una cosa te falta: ve, vende todo lo que tienes, y da á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme, tomando tu cruz.

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”

Er aber ward düster über dem Worte und ging betrübt weg; denn er hatte viel Besitztum.

Mas él, entristecido por esta palabra, se fué triste, porque tenía muchas posesiones.

And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

But his face fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful, for he was one who had great possessions.

Und Jesus blickte umher und sprach zu Seinen Jüngern: Wie schwer ist es, daß die, so Vermögen haben, ins Reich Gottes eingehen!

Entonces Jesús, mirando alrededor, dice á sus discípulos: ¡Cuán difícilmente entrarán en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas!

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!”

Die Jünger aber waren bestürzt über Seine Worte; Jesus aber antwortete wieder und sprach zu ihnen: Kinder, wie schwer ist es, daß die auf das Vermögen vertrauen, ins Reich Gottes kommen!

Y los discípulos se espantaron de sus palabras; mas Jesús respondiendo, les volvió á decir: ¡Hijos, cuán difícil es entrar en el reino de Dios, los que confían en las riquezas!

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answered again, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!

Es ist leichter, daß ein Kamel durch das Öhr der Nadel durchgehe, denn daß ein Reicher ins Reich Gottes komme.

Más fácil es pasar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que el rico entrar en el reino de Dios.

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Sie aber staunten über die Maßen und sagten untereinander: Wer kann dann gerettet werden?

Y ellos se espantaban más, diciendo dentro de sí: ¿Y quién podrá salvarse?

And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

They were exceedingly astonished, saying to him, “Then who can be saved?”

Jesus aber blickte sie an und sprach: Bei Menschen ist es unmöglich, aber nicht bei Gott; denn bei Gott sind alle Dinge möglich.

Entonces Jesús mirándolos, dice: Para los hombres es imposible; mas para Dios, no; porque todas las cosas son posibles para Dios.

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”

Da antwortete Petrus und sagte zu Ihm: Siehe, wir haben alles verlassen und sind Dir nachgefolgt.

Entonces Pedro comenzó á decirle: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado todas las cosas, y te hemos seguido.

Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

Peter began to tell him, “Behold, we have left all and have followed you.”

Jesus antwortete und sprach: Wahrlich, Ich sage euch, es ist niemand, der um Meinetwillen und um des Evangeliums willen Haus, oder Brüder, oder Schwestern, oder Vater, oder Mutter, oder Weib, oder Kinder, oder Felder verlassen hat,

Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: De cierto os digo, que no hay ninguno que haya dejado casa, ó hermanos, ó hermanas, ó padre, ó madre, ó mujer, ó hijos, ó heredades, por causa de mí y del evangelio,

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,

Der nicht hundertfältig empfinge jetzt in dieser Zeit Häuser und Brüder und Schwestern und Mütter und Kinder und Felder mit Verfolgungen und in dem zukünftigen Zeitlauf ewiges Leben.

Que no reciba cien tantos ahora en este tiempo, casas, y hermanos, y hermanas, y madres, é hijos, y heredades, con persecuciones; y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.

Viele aber, welche die ersten sind, werden letzte sein, und die letzten werden erste sein.

Empero muchos primeros serán postreros, y postreros primeros.

But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Sie waren aber auf dem Wege hinaufzugehen nach Jerusalem, und Jesus ging ihnen voran, und sie waren bestürzt und folgten Ihm nach und fürchteten sich. Und Er nahm wieder die Zwölfe zu Sich, und fing an, ihnen zu sagen, was sich mit Ihm zutragen würde.

Y estaban en el camino subiendo á Jerusalem; y Jesús iba delante de ellos, y se espantaban, y le seguían con miedo: entonces volviendo á tomar á los doce aparte, les comenzó á decir las cosas que le habían de acontecer:

And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.

Siehe, wir gehen hinauf nach Jerusalem, und des Menschen Sohn wird den Hohenpriestern und den Schriftgelehrten überantwortet werden, und sie werden Ihn zum Tode verdammen und Ihn den Heiden überantworten.

He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y el Hijo del hombre será entregado á los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y á los escribas, y le condenarán á muerte, y le entregarán á los Gentiles:

Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.

Und sie werden Ihn verspotten und Ihn geißeln, und Ihn anspeien und Ihn töten; und am dritten Tage wird Er auferstehen.

Y le escarnecerán, y le azotarán, y escupirán en él, y le matarán; mas al tercer día resucitará.

And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.

They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”

Und es kamen zu Ihm Jakobus und Johannes, die Söhne des Zebedäus, und sprachen: Lehrer, wir wollen, daß Du uns tust, um was wir bitten werden.

Entonces Jacobo y Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, se llegaron á él, diciendo: Maestro, querríamos que nos hagas lo que pidiéremos.

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Was wollt ihr, daß ich euch tun solle?

Y él les dijo: ¿Qué queréis que os haga?

And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?

He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Sie aber sagten zu Ihm: Gib uns, daß wir sitzen, einer zu Deiner Rechten und einer zu Deiner Linken in Deiner Herrlichkeit.

Y ellos le dijeron: Danos que en tu gloria nos sentemos el uno á tu diestra, y el otro á tu siniestra.

They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.

They said to him, “Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left hand, in your glory.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr wisset nicht, was ihr bittet. Könnet ihr den Kelch trinken, den Ich trinke, und mit der Taufe euch taufen lassen, mit der Ich getauft werde?

Entonces Jesús les dijo: No sabéis lo que pedís. ¿Podéis beber del vaso que yo bebo, ó ser bautizados del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado?

But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”

Sie aber sprachen zu Ihm: Wir können es. Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Den Kelch zwar, den Ich trinke, werdet ihr trinken, und mit der Taufe, mit der Ich getauft werde, getauft werden;

Y ellos dijeron: Podemos. Y Jesús les dijo: A la verdad, del vaso que yo bebo, beberéis; y del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado, seréis bautizados.

And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

They said to him, “We are able.” Jesus said to them, “You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;

Das Sitzen aber zu Meiner Rechten und zu Meiner Linken ist nicht Mein, zu geben, außer denen es bereitet ist.

Mas que os sentéis á mi diestra y á mi siniestra, no es mío darlo, sino á quienes está aparejado.

But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.”

Und da die Zehn das hörten, fingen sie an unwillig zu werden über Jakobus und Johannes.

Y como lo oyeron los diez, comenzaron á enojarse de Jacobo y de Juan.

And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.

When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant toward James and John.

Jesus aber rief sie zu Sich und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr wisset, daß die, so als Oberste gelten, über die Völkerschaften herrschen, und ihre Großen Gewalt üben über sie.

Mas Jesús, llamándolos, les dice: Sabéis que los que se ven ser príncipes entre las gentes, se enseñorean de ellas, y los que entre ellas son grandes, tienen sobre ellas potestad.

But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.

Jesus summoned them and said to them, “You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

Also aber sei es nicht bei euch. Sondern wer groß unter euch sein will, der soll euer Diener sein;

Mas no será así entre vosotros: antes cualquiera que quisiere hacerse grande entre vosotros, será vuestro servidor;

But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.

Und wer unter euch der Erste sein will, der soll aller Knecht sein.

Y cualquiera de vosotros que quisiere hacerse el primero, será siervo de todos.

And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Whoever of you wants to become first among you shall be bondservant of all.

Denn auch des Menschen Sohn ist nicht gekommen, Sich dienen zu lassen, sondern zu dienen und Seine Seele zu geben für viele zur Lösung.

Porque el Hijo del hombre tampoco vino para ser servido, mas para servir, y dar su vida en rescate por muchos.

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Und sie kamen nach Jericho. Und wie Er aus Jericho auszog mit Seinen Jüngern und Gedränge genug, saß am Wege des Timäus Sohn, Bartimäus der Blinde, und bettelte.

Entonces vienen á Jericó: y saliendo él de Jericó y sus discípulos y una gran compañía, Bartimeo el ciego, hijo de Timeo, estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando.

And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimæus, the son of Timæus, sat by the highway side begging.

They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.

Und als der hörte, daß es Jesus der Nazarener war, fing er an zu schreien und zu sagen: Sohn Davids, Jesus, erbarme Dich mein!

Y oyendo que era Jesús el Nazareno, comenzó á dar voces y decir: Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

Viele aber bedrohten ihn, er solle stillschweigen. Er aber schrie viel mehr: Sohn Davids, erbarm Dich mein!

Y muchos le reñían, que callase: mas él daba mayores voces: Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

Und Jesus stand stille und sagte, man solle ihn rufen. Und sie riefen dem Blinden und sagten zu ihm: Sei getrost, mache dich auf; Er ruft dich.

Entonces Jesús parándose, mandó llamarle: y llaman al ciego, diciéndole: Ten confianza: levántate, te llama.

And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

Jesus stood still and said, “Call him.” They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”

Der aber warf sein Kleid ab, stand auf und kam zu Jesus.

El entonces, echando su capa, se levantó, y vino á Jesús.

And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.

Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Was willst du, daß Ich dir tun soll? Der Blinde aber sprach zu Ihm: Rabbuni, daß ich sehend werde.

Y respondiendo Jesús, le dice: ¿Qué quieres que te haga? Y el ciego le dice: Maestro, que cobre la vista.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin; dein Glaube hat dich gerettet. Und alsbald ward er sehend und folgte Ihm nach auf dem Wege.

Y Jesús le dijo: Ve, tu fe te ha salvado. Y luego cobró la vista, y seguía á Jesús en el camino.

And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
