Als sie dann in die Nähe von Jerusalem nach †Bethphage und Bethanien an den Ölberg gekommen waren, sandte er zwei von seinen Jüngern ab

Y COMO fueron cerca de Jerusalem, de Bethphagé, y de Bethania, al monte de las Olivas, envía dos de sus discípulos,

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

mit der Weisung: »Geht in das Dorf, das dort vor euch liegt; und sogleich, wenn ihr hineinkommt, werdet ihr ein Eselsfüllen angebunden finden, auf dem noch nie ein Mensch gesessen hat; bindet es los und bringt es her!

Y les dice: Id al lugar que está delante de vosotros, y luego entrados en él, hallaréis un pollino atado, sobre el cual ningún hombre ha subido; desatadlo y traedlo.

And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

and said to them, “Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him and bring him.

Und wenn jemand euch fragen sollte: ›Was macht ihr da?‹, so antwortet: ›Der Herr bedarf seiner und schickt es sogleich wieder her.‹«

Y si alguien os dijere: ¿Por qué hacéis eso? decid que el Señor lo ha menester: y luego lo enviará acá.

And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs him;’ and immediately he will send him back here.”

Da gingen sie hin und fanden ein Eselsfüllen angebunden am Haustor draußen nach der Dorfstraße zu und banden es los.

Y fueron, y hallaron el pollino atado á la puerta fuera, entre dos caminos; y le desataron.

And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.

Und einige von den Leuten, die dort standen, sagten zu ihnen: »Was macht ihr da, daß ihr das Füllen losbindet?«

Y unos de los que estaban allí, les dijeron: ¿Qué hacéis desatando el pollino?

And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

Some of those who stood there asked them, “What are you doing, untying the young donkey?”

Sie antworteten ihnen, wie Jesus ihnen geboten hatte, da ließ man sie gewähren.

Ellos entonces les dijeron como Jesús había mandado: y los dejaron.

And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.

Sie brachten nun das Füllen zu Jesus und legten ihre Mäntel auf das Tier, und er setzte sich darauf.

Y trajeron el pollino á Jesús, y echaron sobre él sus vestidos, y se sentó sobre él.

And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

They brought the young donkey to Jesus and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.

Viele breiteten sodann ihre Mäntel auf den Weg, andere streuten Laubzweige aus, die sie auf den Feldern abgeschnitten hatten.

Y muchos tendían sus vestidos por el camino, y otros cortaban hojas de los árboles, y las tendían por el camino.

And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and spreading them on the road.

Und die, welche vorn im Zuge gingen, und die, welche nachfolgten, riefen laut: »Hosianna! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn!

Y los que iban delante, y los que iban detrás, daban voces diciendo: ¡Hosanna! Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor.

And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

Those who went in front and those who followed cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Gepriesen sei das Königtum unsers Vaters David, das da kommt! Hosianna in den Himmelshöhen!«

Bendito el reino de nuestro padre David que viene: ¡Hosanna en las alturas!

Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

So zog er in Jerusalem ein (und begab sich) in den Tempel; und nachdem er sich dort alles ringsum angesehen hatte, ging er, da es schon spät am Tage war, mit den Zwölfen nach Bethanien hinaus.

Y entró Jesús en Jerusalem, y en el templo: y habiendo mirado alrededor todas las cosas, y siendo ya tarde, salióse á Bethania con los doce.

And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Jesus entered into the temple in Jerusalem. When he had looked around at everything, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Als sie dann am folgenden Morgen von Bethanien wieder aufgebrochen waren, hungerte ihn.

Y el día siguiente, como salieron de Bethania, tuvo hambre.

And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

The next day, when they had come out from Bethany, he was hungry.

Als er nun in der Ferne einen Feigenbaum sah, der Blätter hatte, ging er hin, ob er nicht einige Früchte an ihm fände, doch als er zu ihm hinkam, fand er nichts als Blätter, denn es war noch nicht die Feigenzeit.

Y viendo de lejos una higuera que tenía hojas, se acercó, si quizá hallaría en ella algo: y como vino á ella, nada halló sino hojas; porque no era tiempo de higos.

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Da rief er dem Baume die Worte zu: »Nie mehr in Ewigkeit soll jemand eine Frucht von dir essen!« Und seine Jünger hörten es.

Entonces Jesús respondiendo, dijo á la higuera: Nunca más coma nadie fruto de ti para siempre. Y lo oyeron sus discípulos.

And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Jesus told it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” and his disciples heard it.

Sie kamen dann nach Jerusalem, und als er dort in den Tempel hineingegangen war, machte er sich daran, die, welche im Tempel verkauften und kauften, hinauszutreiben, stieß die Tische der Geldwechsler und die Sitze der Taubenhändler um

Vienen, pues, á Jerusalem; y entrando Jesús en el templo, comenzó á echar fuera á los que vendían y compraban en el templo; y trastornó las mesas de los cambistas, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

und duldete nicht, daß jemand ein Hausgerät über den Tempelplatz trug.

Y no consentía que alguien llevase vaso por el templo.

And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.

Und er belehrte sie mit den Worten: »Steht nicht geschrieben: ›Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus für alle Völker heißen‹? Ihr aber habt eine ›Räuberhöhle‹ aus ihm gemacht!«

Y les enseñaba diciendo: ¿No está escrito que mi casa, casa de oración será llamada por todas las gentes? Mas vosotros la habéis hecho cueva de ladrones.

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He taught, saying to them, “Isn’t it written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers!”

Die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten hörten davon und überlegten, wie sie ihn umbringen könnten; denn sie hatten Furcht vor ihm, weil seine Lehre auf das ganze Volk einen tiefen Eindruck machte. –

Y lo oyeron los escribas y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y procuraban cómo le matarían; porque le tenían miedo, por cuanto todo el pueblo estaba maravillado de su doctrina.

And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

Und sooft es Abend geworden war, gingen sie aus der Stadt hinaus.

Mas como fué tarde, Jesús salió de la ciudad.

And when even was come, he went out of the city.

Als sie nun am folgenden Morgen vorübergingen, sahen sie den Feigenbaum von den Wurzeln aus verdorrt.

Y pasando por la mañana, vieron que la higuera se había secado desde las raíces.

And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.

Da erinnerte sich Petrus (des Vorfalls) und sagte zu ihm: »Rabbi, sieh doch: der Feigenbaum, den du verflucht hast, ist verdorrt!«

Entonces Pedro acordándose, le dice: Maestro, he aquí la higuera que maldijiste, se ha secado.

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Peter, remembering, said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.”

Jesus gab ihnen zur Antwort: »Habt Glauben an Gott!

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dice: Tened fe en Dios.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.

Wahrlich ich sage euch: Wer zu dem Berge dort sagt: ›Hebe dich empor und stürze dich ins Meer!‹ und in seinem Herzen nicht zweifelt, sondern glaubt, daß das, was er ausspricht, in Erfüllung geht, dem wird es auch erfüllt werden.

Porque de cierto os digo que cualquiera que dijere á este monte: Quítate, y échate en la mar, y no dudare en su corazón, mas creyere que será hecho lo que dice, lo que dijere le será hecho.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.

Darum sage ich euch: Bei allem, was ihr im Gebet erbittet – glaubt nur, daß ihr es (tatsächlich) empfangen habt, so wird es euch zuteil werden.

Por tanto, os digo que todo lo que orando pidiereis, creed que lo recibiréis, y os vendrá.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.

Und wenn ihr dasteht und beten wollt, so vergebt (zunächst), wenn ihr etwas gegen jemand habt, damit auch euer himmlischer Vater euch eure Übertretungen vergebe.

Y cuando estuviereis orando, perdonad, si tenéis algo contra alguno, para que vuestro Padre que está en los cielos os perdone también á vosotros vuestras ofensas.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

†Wenn aber ihr nicht vergebt, so wird auch euer himmlischer Vater euch eure Übertretungen nicht vergeben.«

Porque si vosotros no perdonareis, tampoco vuestro Padre que está en los cielos os perdonará vuestras ofensas.

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

Sie kamen dann wieder nach Jerusalem; und als er dort im Tempel umherging, traten die Hohenpriester, die Schriftgelehrten und die Ältesten an ihn heran

Y volvieron á Jerusalem; y andando él por el templo, vienen á él los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y los ancianos;

And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to him,

und fragten ihn: »Auf Grund welcher Vollmacht trittst du hier in solcher Weise auf? Oder wer hat dir die Vollmacht dazu gegeben, hier so aufzutreten?«

Y le dicen: ¿Con qué facultad haces estas cosas? ¿y quién te ha dado esta facultad para hacer estas cosas?

And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?

and they began saying to him, “By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”

Da antwortete Jesus ihnen: »Ich will euch eine einzige Frage vorlegen: beantwortet sie mir, dann will ich euch sagen, auf Grund welcher Vollmacht ich hier so auftrete.

Y Jesús respondiendo entonces, les dice: Os preguntaré también yo una palabra; y respondedme, y os diré con qué facultad hago estas cosas:

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Stammte die Taufe des Johannes vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Gebt mir eine Antwort!«

El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo, ó de los hombres? Respondedme.

The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

Da überlegten sie miteinander folgendermaßen: »Sagen wir: ›Vom Himmel‹, so wird er einwenden: ›Warum habt ihr ihm dann keinen Glauben geschenkt?‹

Entonces ellos pensaron dentro de sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, dirá: ¿Por qué, pues, no le creísteis?

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we should say, ‘From heaven;’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

Sollen wir dagegen sagen: ›Von Menschen?‹« – da fürchteten sie sich vor dem Volk; denn alle glaubten von Johannes, daß er wirklich ein Prophet gewesen sei.

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo: porque todos juzgaban de Juan, que verdaderamente era profeta.

But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

If we should say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.

So gaben sie denn Jesus zur Antwort: »Wir wissen es nicht.« Da erwiderte Jesus ihnen: »Dann sage auch ich euch nicht, auf Grund welcher Vollmacht ich hier so auftrete.«

Y respondiendo, dicen á Jesús: No sabemos. Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dice: Tampoco yo os diré con qué facultad hago estas cosas.

And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
