14Eles se aproximaram e lhe disseram: Mestre, sabemos que és homem de verdade, e não te interessa agradar a ninguém, porque não te importas com a aparência humana, mas com verdade ensinas o caminho de Deus. É lícito pagar tributo a César, ou não? Devemos pagar, ou não devemos?

14Y viniendo ellos, le dicen: Maestro, sabemos que eres hombre de verdad, y que no te cuidas de nadie; porque no miras á la apariencia de hombres, antes con verdad enseñas el camino de Dios: ¿Es lícito dar tributo á César, ó no? ¿Daremos, ó no daremos?

14And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not?

World English Bible

14When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
