And Jesus answering said †as he was teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say that the Christ is son of David?

Y respondiendo Jesús decía, enseñando en el templo: ¿Cómo dicen los escribas que el Cristo es hijo de David?

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?

Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
