Il leur disait aussi en les enseignant : donnez vous garde des Scribes, qui prennent plaisir à se promener en robes longues, et qui aiment les salutations dans les marchés.

Y les decía en su doctrina: Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas,

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
