Und er lehrte sie und sprach zu ihnen: Sehet euch vor vor den Schriftgelehrten, die in langen Kleidern gehen und lassen sich gern auf dem Markte grüßen

Y les decía en su doctrina: Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas,

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
