E diceva nel suo insegnamento: Guardatevi dagli scribi, i quali amano passeggiare in lunghe vesti, ed esser salutati nelle piazze,

Y les decía en su doctrina: Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas,

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
