Er begann dann in Gleichnissen zu ihnen zu reden: »Ein Mann legte einen Weinberg an, umgab ihn mit einem Zaun, grub eine Kelter darin, baute einen Wachtturm, verpachtete ihn an Weingärtner und ging außer Landes.

Y COMENZÓ á hablarles por parábolas: Plantó un hombre una viña, y la cercó con seto, y cavó un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la arrendó á labradores, y se partió lejos.

And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.

Zu rechter Zeit sandte er dann einen Knecht zu den Weingärtnern, um seinen Teil der Früchte des Weinbergs von den Weingärtnern in Empfang zu nehmen.

Y envió un siervo á los labradores, al tiempo, para que tomase de los labradores del fruto de la viña.

And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.

Die aber ergriffen den Knecht, mißhandelten ihn und schickten ihn mit leeren Händen zurück.

Mas ellos, tomándole, le hirieron, y le enviaron vacío.

And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.

Da sandte er nochmals einen anderen Knecht zu ihnen; auch diesem zerschlugen sie den Kopf und beschimpften ihn.

Y volvió á enviarles otro siervo; mas apedreándole, le hirieron en la cabeza, y volvieron á enviarle afrentado.

And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

Er sandte noch einen anderen, den sie töteten, und noch viele andere (sandte er), von denen sie die einen mißhandelten, die anderen töteten.

Y volvió á enviar otro, y á aquél mataron; y á otros muchos, hiriendo á unos y matando á otros.

And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

Nun hatte er noch einen einzigen, seinen geliebten Sohn; den sandte er zuletzt auch noch zu ihnen, weil er dachte: ›Sie werden sich doch vor meinem Sohne scheuen.‹

Teniendo pues aún un hijo suyo amado, enviólo también á ellos el postrero, diciendo: Tendrán en reverencia á mi hijo.

Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Jene Weingärtner aber sagten zueinander: ›Dieser ist der Erbe; kommt, wir wollen ihn töten; dann wird das Erbgut uns gehören.‹

Mas aquellos labradores dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y la heredad será nuestra.

But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

But those farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’

So ergriffen sie ihn denn, schlugen ihn tot und warfen ihn vor den Weinberg hinaus.

Y prendiéndole, le mataron, y echaron fuera de la viña.

And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

Was wird nun der Herr des Weinbergs tun? Er wird kommen und die Weingärtner umbringen und wird den Weinberg an andere vergeben. –

¿Qué, pues, hará el señor de la viña? Vendrá, y destruirá á estos labradores, y dará su viña á otros.

What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.

Habt ihr nicht auch dieses Schriftwort gelesen: ›Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, der ist zum Eckstein geworden;

¿Ni aun esta Escritura habéis leído: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta es puesta por cabeza de esquina;

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.

durch den Herrn ist er das geworden, und ein Wunder ist er in unsern Augen?‹«

Por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Da hätten sie ihn am liebsten festgenommen, fürchteten sich jedoch vor dem Volk; sie hatten nämlich wohl gemerkt, daß er das Gleichnis gegen sie gerichtet hatte. So ließen sie denn von ihm ab und entfernten sich.

Y procuraban prenderle, porque entendían que decía á ellos aquella parábola; mas temían á la multitud; y dejándole, se fueron.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.

Sie sandten darauf einige von den Pharisäern und den Anhängern des Herodes zu ihm, um ihn durch einen Ausspruch zu fangen.

Y envían á él algunos de los Fariseos y de los Herodianos, para que le sorprendiesen en alguna palabra.

And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.

They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.

Jene kamen also und sagten zu ihm: »Meister, wir wissen, daß du wahrhaftig bist und auf niemand Rücksicht nimmst; denn du siehst die Person nicht an, sondern lehrst den Weg Gottes mit Wahrhaftigkeit. Ist es recht, daß man dem Kaiser Steuer entrichtet, oder nicht? Sollen wir sie entrichten oder nicht?«

Y viniendo ellos, le dicen: Maestro, sabemos que eres hombre de verdad, y que no te cuidas de nadie; porque no miras á la apariencia de hombres, antes con verdad enseñas el camino de Dios: ¿Es lícito dar tributo á César, ó no? ¿Daremos, ó no daremos?

And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not?

When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

Da er nun ihre Heuchelei durchschaute, antwortete er ihnen: »Warum versucht ihr mich? Reicht mir einen Denar, damit ich ihn ansehe!«

Entonces él, como entendía la hipocresía de ellos, les dijo: ¿Por qué me tentáis? Traedme la moneda para que la vea.

Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”

Als sie ihm nun einen (Denar) gereicht hatten, fragte er sie: »Wessen Bild und Aufschrift ist das hier?« Sie antworteten ihm: »Des Kaisers.«

Y ellos se la trajeron y les dice: ¿Cúya es esta imagen y esta inscripción? Y ellos le dijeron: De César.

And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Cæsar’s.

They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”

Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: »So gebt dem Kaiser, was dem Kaiser zusteht, und Gott, was Gott zusteht!« Und sie gerieten in Staunen über ihn.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Dad lo que es de César á César; y lo que es de Dios, á Dios. Y se maravillaron de ello.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.

Jesus answered them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marveled greatly at him.

Es traten dann Sadduzäer zu ihm, die da behaupten, es gebe keine Auferstehung, und legten ihm folgende Frage vor:

Entonces vienen á él los Saduceos, que dicen que no hay resurrección, y le preguntaron, diciendo:

Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,

Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,

»Meister, Mose hat uns vorgeschrieben: ›Wenn einem sein Bruder stirbt und eine Frau hinterläßt, aber kein Kind zurückläßt, so soll sein Bruder die Frau heiraten und für seinen Bruder das Geschlecht fortpflanzen.‹

Maestro, Moisés nos escribió, que si el hermano de alguno muriese, y dejase mujer, y no dejase hijos, que su hermano tome su mujer, y levante linaje á su hermano.

Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

“Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’

Nun waren da sieben Brüder; der erste nahm eine Frau, ließ aber bei seinem Tode keine Kinder zurück.

Fueron siete hermanos: y el primero tomó mujer, y muriendo, no dejó simiente;

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.

There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.

Da heiratete sie der zweite, starb aber auch, ohne Kinder zu hinterlassen; der dritte ebenso,

Y la tomó el segundo, y murió, y ni aquél tampoco dejó simiente; y el tercero, de la misma manera.

And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.

The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;

und alle sieben hinterließen keine Kinder; zuletzt nach allen starb auch die Frau.

Y la tomaron los siete, y tampoco dejaron simiente: á la postre murió también la mujer.

And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.

and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.

In der Auferstehung nun, wenn sie auferstehen: wem von ihnen wird sie dann als Frau angehören? Alle sieben haben sie ja zur Frau gehabt.«

En la resurrección, pues, cuando resucitaren, ¿de cuál de ellos será mujer? porque los siete la tuvieron por mujer.

In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”

Jesus antwortete ihnen: »Befindet ihr euch nicht deshalb im Irrtum, weil ihr die (heiligen) Schriften und die Kraft Gottes nicht kennt?

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dice: ¿No erráis por eso, porque no sabéis las Escrituras, ni la potencia de Dios?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?

Denn wenn sie von den Toten auferstehen, dann heiraten sie weder, noch werden sie verheiratet, sondern sie sind wie Engel im Himmel.

Porque cuando resucitarán de los muertos, ni se casarán, ni serán dados en casamiento, mas son como los ángeles que están en los cielos.

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Was aber die Auferweckung der Toten betrifft: habt ihr nicht im Buche Moses bei der Erzählung vom Dornbusch gelesen, wie Gott zu Mose die Worte gesprochen hat: ›Ich bin der Gott Abrahams, der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs‹?

Y de que los muertos hayan de resucitar, ¿no habéis leído en el libro de Moisés cómo le habló Dios en la zarza, diciendo: Yo soy el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob?

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

Gott ist doch nicht der Gott von Toten, sondern von Lebenden. Ihr seid arg im Irrtum!«

No es Dios de muertos, mas Dios de vivos; así que vosotros mucho erráis.

He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”

Da trat einer von den Schriftgelehrten hinzu, der ihnen zugehört hatte, wie sie miteinander verhandelten; und da er wußte, daß Jesus ihnen treffend geantwortet hatte, fragte er ihn: »Welches Gebot ist das erste von allen?«

Y llegándose uno de los escribas, que los había oído disputar, y sabía que les había respondido bien, le preguntó: ¿Cuál es el primer mandamiento de todos?

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

Jesus antwortete: »Das erste ist: ›Höre, Israel: der Herr, unser Gott, ist Herr allein,

Y Jesús le respondió: El primer mandamiento de todos es: Oye, Israel, el Señor nuestro Dios, el Señor uno es.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

und du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben mit deinem ganzen Herzen, mit deiner ganzen Seele, mit deinem ganzen Denken und mit aller deiner Kraft!‹

Amarás pues al Señor tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y de toda tu mente, y de todas tus fuerzas; este es el principal mandamiento.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

An zweiter Stelle steht dieses (Gebot): ›Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst!‹ Kein anderes Gebot steht höher als diese beiden.«

Y el segundo es semejante á él: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo. No hay otro mandamiento mayor que éstos.

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Da sagte der Schriftgelehrte zu ihm: »Meister, mit Recht hast du der Wahrheit gemäß gesagt, daß Gott nur einer ist und es keinen anderen außer ihm gibt;

Entonces el escriba le dijo: Bien, Maestro, verdad has dicho, que uno es Dios, y no hay otro fuera de él;

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;

und ihn mit ganzem Herzen und aus voller Überzeugung und mit ganzer Kraft lieben und den Nächsten wie sich selbst lieben, das ist weit mehr wert als alle Brandopfer und die Opfer überhaupt.«

Y que amarle de todo corazón, y de todo entendimiento, y de toda el alma, y de todas las fuerzas, y amar al prójimo como á sí mismo, más es que todos los holocaustos y sacrificios.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Als Jesus ihn so verständig antworten hörte, sagte er zu ihm: »Du bist nicht weit vom Reiche Gottes entfernt.« Und niemand wagte fortan noch, Fragen an ihn zu richten.

Jesús entonces, viendo que había respondido sabiamente, le dice: No estás lejos del reino de Dios. Y ya ninguno osaba preguntarle.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.

Jesus warf dann, während er im Tempel lehrte, die Frage auf: »Wie können die Schriftgelehrten behaupten, daß Christus Davids Sohn sei?

Y respondiendo Jesús decía, enseñando en el templo: ¿Cómo dicen los escribas que el Cristo es hijo de David?

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?

Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

David selbst hat doch im heiligen Geist gesagt: ›Der Herr hat zu meinem Herrn gesagt: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich deine Feinde hinlege zum Schemel deiner Füße.‹

Porque el mismo David dijo por el Espíritu Santo: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra, hasta que ponga tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’

David selbst nennt ihn ›Herr‹: wie kann er da sein Sohn sein?« Und die große Volksmenge hörte ihm gern zu.

Luego llamándole el mismo David Señor, ¿de dónde, pues, es su hijo? Y los que eran del común del pueblo le oían de buena gana.

David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.

Und in seiner Belehrung sagte er: »Hütet euch vor den Schriftgelehrten, die es lieben, in langen Gewändern einherzugehen und auf den Märkten gegrüßt zu werden;

Y les decía en su doctrina: Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas,

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,

die die Ehrensitze in den Synagogen und die obersten Plätze bei den Gastmählern beanspruchen;

Y las primeras sillas en las sinagogas, y los primeros asientos en las cenas;

And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:

and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,

die die Häuser der Witwen verschlingen und zum Schein lange Gebete verrichten. Sie werden ein um so strengeres Gericht erfahren.«

Que devoran las casas de las viudas, y por pretexto hacen largas oraciones. Estos recibirán mayor juicio.

Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

Als er sich dann dem Opferkasten gegenüber hingesetzt hatte, sah er zu, wie das Volk Geld in den Kasten einwarf, und viele Reiche taten viel hinein.

Y estando sentado Jesús delante del arca de la ofrenda, miraba cómo el pueblo echaba dinero en el arca: y muchos ricos echaban mucho.

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.

Da kam auch eine arme Witwe und legte zwei Scherflein hinein, die einen Pfennig ausmachen.

Y como vino una viuda pobre, echó dos blancas, que son un maravedí.

And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.

Da rief er seine Jünger herbei und sagte zu ihnen: »Wahrlich ich sage euch: Diese arme Witwe hat mehr eingelegt als alle, die etwas in den Opferkasten getan haben.

Entonces llamando á sus discípulos, les dice: De cierto os digo que esta viuda pobre echó más que todos los que han echado en el arca:

And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,

Denn jene haben alle von ihrem Überfluß eingelegt, sie aber hat aus ihrer Dürftigkeit heraus alles, was sie besaß, eingelegt, ihren ganzen Lebensunterhalt.«

Porque todos han echado de lo que les sobra; mas ésta, de su pobreza echó todo lo que tenía, todo su alimento.

For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
