Und Er fing an, zu ihnen in Gleichnissen zu sprechen: Ein Mensch pflanzte einen Weinberg, und umgab ihn mit einem Zaun, und grub einen Keltertrog aus, und baute einen Turm, und gab ihn an Weingärtner aus und zog über Land.

Y COMENZÓ á hablarles por parábolas: Plantó un hombre una viña, y la cercó con seto, y cavó un lagar, y edificó una torre, y la arrendó á labradores, y se partió lejos.

And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.

Und zur Jahreszeit sandte er einen Knecht an die Weingärtner, daß er von den Weingärtnern von der Frucht des Weinbergs empfange.

Y envió un siervo á los labradores, al tiempo, para que tomase de los labradores del fruto de la viña.

And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.

Sie aber nahmen ihn, stäupten ihn und sandten ihn leer von dannen.

Mas ellos, tomándole, le hirieron, y le enviaron vacío.

And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.

Und abermals sandte er zu ihnen einen anderen Knecht. Und diesem zerwarfen sie den Kopf mit Steinen und sandten ihn entehrt von dannen.

Y volvió á enviarles otro siervo; mas apedreándole, le hirieron en la cabeza, y volvieron á enviarle afrentado.

And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.

Und er sandte abermals einen anderen. Und diesen töteten sie; und viele andere; etliche stäupten, etliche aber töteten sie.

Y volvió á enviar otro, y á aquél mataron; y á otros muchos, hiriendo á unos y matando á otros.

And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.

Da hatte er noch seinen einzigen geliebten Sohn, auch den sandte er zuletzt an sie ab, indem er sagte: Vor meinem Sohne werden sie sich scheuen.

Teniendo pues aún un hijo suyo amado, enviólo también á ellos el postrero, diciendo: Tendrán en reverencia á mi hijo.

Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Aber jene Weingärtner sprachen zueinander: Das ist der Erbe, kommet, lasset uns ihn töten, und das Erbe ist unser.

Mas aquellos labradores dijeron entre sí: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle, y la heredad será nuestra.

But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

But those farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’

Und sie griffen ihn, töteten ihn, und warfen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus.

Y prendiéndole, le mataron, y echaron fuera de la viña.

And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

Was wird nun der Herr des Weinberges tun? Er wird kommen, die Weingärtner umbringen und den Weinberg anderen geben.

¿Qué, pues, hará el señor de la viña? Vendrá, y destruirá á estos labradores, y dará su viña á otros.

What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.

Habt ihr nicht gelesen diese Schrift: Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, der ist zum Eckstein geworden?

¿Ni aun esta Escritura habéis leído: La piedra que desecharon los que edificaban, ésta es puesta por cabeza de esquina;

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.

Vom Herrn ist das geschehen, und es ist wunderbar in unseren Augen?

Por el Señor es hecho esto, y es cosa maravillosa en nuestros ojos?

This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Und sie trachteten danach, daß sie Ihn ergriffen, und fürchteten sich vor dem Gedränge. Denn sie erkannten, daß Er gegen sie das Gleichnis gesprochen hatte. Und sie ließen von Ihm und gingen weg.

Y procuraban prenderle, porque entendían que decía á ellos aquella parábola; mas temían á la multitud; y dejándole, se fueron.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.

Und sie sandten etliche von den Pharisäern und den Herodianern an Ihn, auf daß sie Ihn im Worte fingen.

Y envían á él algunos de los Fariseos y de los Herodianos, para que le sorprendiesen en alguna palabra.

And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.

They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.

Sie kamen aber und sprachen zu Ihm: Lehrer, wir wissen, daß Du wahrhaftig bist, und daß Du Dich um niemand kümmerst; denn Du blickst nicht auf das Angesicht der Menschen, sondern lehrst den Weg Gottes nach der Wahrheit. Ist es erlaubt, daß man dem Kaiser die Steuer gibt, oder nicht? Sollen wir sie geben oder nicht geben?

Y viniendo ellos, le dicen: Maestro, sabemos que eres hombre de verdad, y que no te cuidas de nadie; porque no miras á la apariencia de hombres, antes con verdad enseñas el camino de Dios: ¿Es lícito dar tributo á César, ó no? ¿Daremos, ó no daremos?

And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not?

When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

Er aber sah ihre Heuchelei und sprach zu ihnen: Was versuchet ihr Mich? Bringet Mir einen Denar, daß Ich ihn sehe.

Entonces él, como entendía la hipocresía de ellos, les dijo: ¿Por qué me tentáis? Traedme la moneda para que la vea.

Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.

Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”

Sie aber brachten einen. Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wessen ist das Bild und die Überschrift? Sie aber sagten zu Ihm: Des Kaisers.

Y ellos se la trajeron y les dice: ¿Cúya es esta imagen y esta inscripción? Y ellos le dijeron: De César.

And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Cæsar’s.

They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”

Und Jesus antwortete und sagte zu ihnen: So gebet hin dem Kaiser, was des Kaisers ist, und Gott, was Gottes ist. Und sie verwunderten sich über Ihn.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Dad lo que es de César á César; y lo que es de Dios, á Dios. Y se maravillaron de ello.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.

Jesus answered them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marveled greatly at him.

Und die Sadduzäer kamen zu Ihm, die da sagen, es sei keine Auferstehung, und fragten Ihn und sagten:

Entonces vienen á él los Saduceos, que dicen que no hay resurrección, y le preguntaron, diciendo:

Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,

Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,

Lehrer, Moses hat uns geschrieben: Wenn jemandes Bruder stirbt und hinterläßt ein Weib, läßt aber keine Kinder, da soll sein Bruder dessen Weib nehmen und seinem Bruder Samen erwecken.

Maestro, Moisés nos escribió, que si el hermano de alguno muriese, y dejase mujer, y no dejase hijos, que su hermano tome su mujer, y levante linaje á su hermano.

Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

“Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’

Nun waren sieben Brüder. Und der erste nahm ein Weib, starb und ließ keinen Samen.

Fueron siete hermanos: y el primero tomó mujer, y muriendo, no dejó simiente;

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.

There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.

Und der zweite nahm sie und starb, und auch er ließ keinen Samen; desgleichen auch der dritte.

Y la tomó el segundo, y murió, y ni aquél tampoco dejó simiente; y el tercero, de la misma manera.

And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.

The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;

Und die sieben nahmen sie und ließen keinen Samen; und zuletzt von allen starb auch das Weib.

Y la tomaron los siete, y tampoco dejaron simiente: á la postre murió también la mujer.

And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.

and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.

In der Auferstehung nun, wenn sie auferstanden sind, wessen Weibe wird sie sein unter ihnen? Denn die sieben haben sie zum Weibe gehabt.

En la resurrección, pues, cuando resucitaren, ¿de cuál de ellos será mujer? porque los siete la tuvieron por mujer.

In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.

In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”

Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Irret ihr nicht darum, daß ihr die Schriften und die Kraft Gottes nicht wisset?

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dice: ¿No erráis por eso, porque no sabéis las Escrituras, ni la potencia de Dios?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?

Denn wenn sie von den Toten auferstehen, freien sie nicht, noch lassen sie sich freien, sondern sind wie die Engel in den Himmeln.

Porque cuando resucitarán de los muertos, ni se casarán, ni serán dados en casamiento, mas son como los ángeles que están en los cielos.

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Was aber die Toten anlangt, daß sie auferweckt werden, habt ihr nicht in Moses Buch gelesen, bei dem Dornbusch, wie Gott zu ihm sprach und sagte: Ich bin der Gott Abrahams und der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs.

Y de que los muertos hayan de resucitar, ¿no habéis leído en el libro de Moisés cómo le habló Dios en la zarza, diciendo: Yo soy el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob?

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

Er ist nicht Gott der Toten, sondern der Lebendigen Gott. Ihr gehet sehr irre.

No es Dios de muertos, mas Dios de vivos; así que vosotros mucho erráis.

He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”

Und es kam einer der Schriftgelehrten herzu, der ihre Besprechung gehört hatte, und sah, daß Er ihnen fein geantwortet hatte, und fragt Ihn: Welches ist das erste Gebot von allen?

Y llegándose uno de los escribas, que los había oído disputar, y sabía que les había respondido bien, le preguntó: ¿Cuál es el primer mandamiento de todos?

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

Jesus aber antwortete ihm: Das erste Gebot von allen ist: Höre, Israel, der Herr unser Gott ist ein einiger Herr.

Y Jesús le respondió: El primer mandamiento de todos es: Oye, Israel, el Señor nuestro Dios, el Señor uno es.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Und du sollst lieben den Herrn deinen Gott von deinem ganzen Herzen und von deiner ganzen Seele und von deiner ganzen Gesinnung und mit deiner ganzen Stärke. Dies ist das erste Gebot.

Amarás pues al Señor tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y de toda tu mente, y de todas tus fuerzas; este es el principal mandamiento.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

Und das zweite ist ihm ähnlich, dieses: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst. Kein ander Gebot ist größer denn diese.

Y el segundo es semejante á él: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo. No hay otro mandamiento mayor que éstos.

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Und der Schriftgelehrte sprach zu Ihm: Schön, o Lehrer, nach der Wahrheit hast Du gesprochen; denn es ist ein Gott und ist kein anderer außer Ihm.

Entonces el escriba le dijo: Bien, Maestro, verdad has dicho, que uno es Dios, y no hay otro fuera de él;

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;

Und Ihn lieben von ganzem Herzen, und von ganzem Verstande, und von ganzer Seele, und mit aller Stärke, und den Nächsten lieben, wie sich selbst, das ist mehr als alle Brandopfer und Schlachtopfer.

Y que amarle de todo corazón, y de todo entendimiento, y de toda el alma, y de todas las fuerzas, y amar al prójimo como á sí mismo, más es que todos los holocaustos y sacrificios.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Und da Jesus sah, daß er vernünftig antwortete, sprach Er zu ihm: Du bist nicht weit vom Reiche Gottes; und niemand wagte Ihn mehr zu fragen.

Jesús entonces, viendo que había respondido sabiamente, le dice: No estás lejos del reino de Dios. Y ya ninguno osaba preguntarle.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.

Und Jesus hob an und sprach, da Er lehrte im Heiligtum: Wie sagen die Schriftgelehrten Christus sei Davids Sohn?

Y respondiendo Jesús decía, enseñando en el templo: ¿Cómo dicen los escribas que el Cristo es hijo de David?

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?

Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

Hat doch David selbst im heiligen Geist gesprochen: Der Herr sprach zu meinem Herrn: Setze dich zu Meiner Rechten, bis daß Ich lege Deine Feinde zum Schemel Deiner Füße.

Porque el mismo David dijo por el Espíritu Santo: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra, hasta que ponga tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’

David selbst nun nennt Ihn Herr, und woher ist Er sein Sohn? Und viel Volk hörte Ihm gerne zu.

Luego llamándole el mismo David Señor, ¿de dónde, pues, es su hijo? Y los que eran del común del pueblo le oían de buena gana.

David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.

Und in Seiner Lehre sprach Er zu ihnen: Sehet euch vor vor den Schriftgelehrten, die da wollen in langen Gewändern umherwandeln und sich auf den Marktplätzen grüßen lassen.

Y les decía en su doctrina: Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas,

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,

Und die wollen die ersten Sitze in den Synagogen, und bei den Gastmählern die ersten Plätze haben.

Y las primeras sillas en las sinagogas, y los primeros asientos en las cenas;

And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:

and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,

Sie essen der Witwen Häuser auf, und zum Vorwande beten sie lange; sie werden um so schwereres Gericht empfangen.

Que devoran las casas de las viudas, y por pretexto hacen largas oraciones. Estos recibirán mayor juicio.

Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

Und Jesus hatte Sich gegenüber dem Schatzkasten gesetzt und schaute, wie das Volk Kupfergeld in den Schatzkasten warf. Und viele Reiche legten viel ein.

Y estando sentado Jesús delante del arca de la ofrenda, miraba cómo el pueblo echaba dinero en el arca: y muchos ricos echaban mucho.

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.

Und es kam eine arme Witwe, die legte zwei Scherflein ein, die einen Heller machen.

Y como vino una viuda pobre, echó dos blancas, que son un maravedí.

And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.

A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.

Und Er rief Seine Jünger zu Sich und sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, Ich sage euch, diese arme Witwe da hat mehr als sie alle eingelegt, die da in den Schatzkasten einlegten.

Entonces llamando á sus discípulos, les dice: De cierto os digo que esta viuda pobre echó más que todos los que han echado en el arca:

And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,

Denn alle legten von ihrem Überflusse ein; sie aber hat von ihrer Notdurft alles, was sie hatte, all ihren Lebensunterhalt eingelegt..

Porque todos han echado de lo que les sobra; mas ésta, de su pobreza echó todo lo que tenía, todo su alimento.

For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
