Quando ele estava saindo do templo naquele dia, um dos seus discípulos disse: “Olha, Mestre, que belas pedras e construções!”
Y SALIENDO del templo, le dice uno de sus discípulos: Maestro, mira qué piedras, y qué edificios.
And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
Jesus perguntou: “Você está vendo estas construções enormes? Porque não ficará pedra sobre pedra. Tudo será destruído”.
Y Jesús respondiendo, le dijo: ¿Ves estos grandes edificios? no quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.
And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
Jesus estava sentado no monte das Oliveiras, do outro lado do vale fora de Jerusalém, quando Pedro, Tiago, João e André lhe perguntaram, em particular:

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

“Conta-nos, quando acontecerão aquelas coisas, e que sinal haverá para anunciar quando tudo isso vai acontecer?”
Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas? ¿y qué señal habrá cuando todas estas cosas han de cumplirse?
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
“Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
Então Jesus lhes disse: “Não deixem que ninguém engane vocês.
Y Jesús respondiéndoles, comenzó á decir: Mirad, que nadie os engañe;
And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
Porque muitos virão dizendo que são o Messias de vocês, e enganarão a muita gente.
Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y engañarán á muchos.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and will lead many astray.
E quando ouvirem falar em guerras perto e longe, não tenham medo. É preciso que tais coisas aconteçam, mas ainda não é o fim.
Mas cuando oyereis de guerras y de rumores de guerras no os turbéis, porque conviene hacerse así; mas aun no será el fin.
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
Porque nações e reinos declararão guerra uns contra os outros; haverá terremotos em vários lugares e também fomes. Isto anunciará apenas o início da angústia.
Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá terremotos en muchos lugares, y habrá hambres y alborotos; principios de dolores serán estos.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
“Mas quando essas coisas começarem a acontecer, tomem cuidado, porque vocês estarão correndo grande perigo. Vocês serão arrastados para os tribunais, açoitados nas sinagogas. Por minha causa vocês serão levados diante de governadores e reis, e acusarão vocês de serem meus seguidores. Esta é a oportunidade que vocês têm de contar-lhes a boa-nova.
Mas vosotros mirad por vosotros: porque os entregarán en los concilios, y en sinagogas seréis azotados: y delante de presidentes y de reyes seréis llamados por causa de mí, en testimonio á ellos.
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
“But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
E a boa-nova deve primeiro tornar-se conhecida em todas as nações, antes que venha o fim.
Y á todas las gentes conviene que el evangelio sea predicado antes.
And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
Mas quando vocês forem presos e submetidos a julgamento, não se preocupem com o que dizer em sua defesa. É só falarem o que Deus mandar. Nessa hora não serão vocês que estarão falando, e sim o Espírito Santo.
Y cuando os trajeren para entregaros, no premeditéis qué habéis de decir, ni lo penséis: mas lo que os fuere dado en aquella hora, eso hablad; porque no sois vosotros los que habláis, sino el Espíritu Santo.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
“Irmãos entregarão uns aos outros à morte, pais entregarão seus filhos. Filhos se rebelarão contra seus próprios pais e os matarão.
Y entregará á la muerte el hermano al hermano, y el padre al hijo: y se levantarán los hijos contra los padres, y los matarán.
Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
E todos os odiarão porque vocês são meus. Mas todos os que perseverarem até o fim serão salvos.
Y seréis aborrecidos de todos por mi nombre: mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
“Quando vocês virem a coisa horrorosa no lugar que não deve estar — que o leitor entenda o que isso quer dizer — os que estiverem na Judeia fujam para os montes.
Empero cuando viereis la abominación de asolamiento, que fué dicha por el profeta Daniel, que estará donde no debe (el que lee, entienda), entonces los que estén en Judea huyan á los montes;
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:
“But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,
Apressem-se! Quem estiver no seu terraço, não desça nem entre em casa.
Y el que esté sobre el terrado, no descienda á la casa, ni entre para tomar algo de su casa;
And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.
Quem estiver fora nos campos, não volte para buscar o seu manto.
Y el que estuviere en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar su capa.
And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
“Ai das mulheres que estiverem grávidas naqueles dias, e das mães que estiverem amamentando seus filhos.
Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que criaren en aquellos días!
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
Orem para que a fuga de vocês não se dê no inverno.
Orad pues, que no acontezca vuestra huída en invierno.
And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
Pray that your flight won’t be in the winter.
Porque aqueles serão dias de tanta angústia como nunca houve desde o começo da criação de Deus, e jamais haverá outra vez.
Porque aquellos días serán de aflicción, cual nunca fué desde el principio de la creación que crió Dios, hasta este tiempo, ni será.
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
E se o Senhor não encurtar aquele tempo de angústia, nenhuma alma em toda a terra sobreviverá. Mas por amor dos seus escolhidos, ele limitará aqueles dias.
Y si el Señor no hubiese abreviado aquellos días, ninguna carne se salvaría; mas por causa de los escogidos que él escogió, abrevió aquellos días.
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
E então se alguém lhes disser: ‘Este é o Cristo’, ou, ‘Ali está ele’, não lhes deem atenção.
Y entonces si alguno os dijere: He aquí, aquí está el Cristo; ó, He aquí, allí está, no le creáis.
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ don’t believe it.
Porque haverá muitos falsos cristos e falsos profetas que realizarão sinais e maravilhas para enganar, se possível, até os escolhidos de Deus.
Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y darán señales y prodigios, para engañar, si se pudiese hacer, aun á los escogidos.
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
Fiquem de prontidão! Eu já os avisei antes que aconteça!
Mas vosotros mirad; os lo he dicho antes todo.
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
“Depois de terminar a tribulação, ‘o sol ficará escuro, a lua não brilhará,
Empero en aquellos días, después de aquella aflicción, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su resplandor;
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
as estrelas cairão do céu e os poderes dos céus serão abalados’.
Y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes que están en los cielos serán conmovidas;
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
“Então a humanidade toda verá o Filho do Homem, vindo nas nuvens com grande poder e glória.
Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre, que vendrá en las nubes con mucha potestad y gloria.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
Ele enviará os seus anjos para reunir os seus escolhidos dos quatro cantos, desde os limites mais distantes da terra e do céu.
Y entonces enviará sus ángeles, y juntará sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde el cabo de la tierra hasta el cabo del cielo.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
“Ora, esta é a lição tirada de uma figueira. Quando os brotos dela ficam macios e as folhas começam a crescer, vocês sabem que o verão está próximo.
De la higuera aprended la semejanza: Cuando su rama ya se enternece, y brota hojas, conocéis que el verano está cerca:
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
“Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
E quando vocês virem acontecer estas coisas, podem estar certos de que ele está muito próximo, à porta.
Así también vosotros, cuando viereis hacerse estas cosas, conoced que está cerca, á las puertas.
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
Eu lhes asseguro que não passará esta geração até que todos estes acontecimentos ocorram.
De cierto os digo que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no sean hechas.
Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Most certainly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
Os céus e a terra desaparecerão, mas as minhas palavras permanecem para sempre.
El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
“Contudo, ninguém sabe, nem os anjos no céu, nem o Filho, o dia ou a hora em que estas coisas acontecerão; somente o Pai sabe.
Empero de aquel día y de la hora, nadie sabe; ni aun los ángeles que están en el cielo, ni el Hijo, sino el Padre.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
“But of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
E já que vocês não sabem quando isso acontecerá, fiquem atentos. Estejam vigilantes!
Mirad, velad y orad: porque no sabéis cuándo será el tiempo.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.
Essa época pode ser comparada com um homem que sai de viagem para outro país. Ele distribuiu as tarefas para os seus servos e manda o porteiro ficar vigiando na espera pela volta dele.
Como el hombre que partiéndose lejos, dejó su casa, y dió facultad á sus siervos, y á cada uno su obra, y al portero mandó que velase:
For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
“It is like a man traveling to another country, having left his house and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
Portanto, vigiem, porque vocês não sabem quando o dono da casa voltará: se à tarde, à meia-noite, de madrugada ou pela manhã.
Velad pues, porque no sabéis cuándo el señor de la casa vendrá; si á la tarde, ó á la media noche, ó al canto del gallo, ó á la mañana;
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming—whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
Se ele vier de repente, que vocês não sejam encontrados dormindo.
Porque cuando viniere de repente, no os halle durmiendo.
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
lest, coming suddenly, he might find you sleeping.
Vigiem na espera da minha volta! Esta é a minha ordem a vocês e a todos os demais”.
Y las cosas que á vosotros digo, á todos las digo: Velad.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
What I tell you, I tell all: Watch!”
