And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Siehst du diese großen Bauten? Es wird kein Stein auf dem andern gelassen werden, der nicht zerbrochen wird!
Y Jesús respondiendo, le dijo: ¿Ves estos grandes edificios? no quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.
And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
Und als er am Ölberg saß, dem Tempel gegenüber, fragten ihn Petrus und Jakobus und Johannes und Andreas besonders:

Sage uns, wann wird das geschehen, und welches wird das Zeichen sein, wann dies alles vollendet werden soll?
Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas? ¿y qué señal habrá cuando todas estas cosas han de cumplirse?
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
“Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
Jesus aber fing an, zu ihnen zu sagen: Sehet zu, daß euch niemand irreführe!
Y Jesús respondiéndoles, comenzó á decir: Mirad, que nadie os engañe;
And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
Denn viele werden unter meinem Namen kommen und sagen: Ich bin es, und werden viele irreführen!
Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y engañarán á muchos.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and will lead many astray.
Wenn ihr aber von Kriegen und Kriegsgeschrei hören werdet, so erschrecket nicht; denn es muß geschehen, aber es ist noch nicht das Ende.
Mas cuando oyereis de guerras y de rumores de guerras no os turbéis, porque conviene hacerse así; mas aun no será el fin.
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
Denn ein Volk wird sich erheben wider das andere und ein Reich wider das andere; es wird hier und dort Erdbeben geben, und Hungersnöte und Unruhen werden sein. Das ist der Wehen Anfang.
Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá terremotos en muchos lugares, y habrá hambres y alborotos; principios de dolores serán estos.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
Ihr aber, sehet auf euch selbst! Denn sie werden euch den Gerichten überliefern, und in den Synagogen werdet ihr geschlagen werden, und man wird euch vor Fürsten und Könige stellen um meinetwillen, ihnen zum Zeugnis.
Mas vosotros mirad por vosotros: porque os entregarán en los concilios, y en sinagogas seréis azotados: y delante de presidentes y de reyes seréis llamados por causa de mí, en testimonio á ellos.
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
“But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
Und unter allen Völkern muß zuvor das Evangelium gepredigt werden.
Y á todas las gentes conviene que el evangelio sea predicado antes.
And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
Wenn sie euch aber hinführen und überliefern werden, so sorget nicht zum voraus, was ihr reden sollt, sondern was euch zu jener Stunde gegeben wird, das redet. Denn nicht ihr seid es, die da reden, sondern der heilige Geist.
Y cuando os trajeren para entregaros, no premeditéis qué habéis de decir, ni lo penséis: mas lo que os fuere dado en aquella hora, eso hablad; porque no sois vosotros los que habláis, sino el Espíritu Santo.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Es wird aber ein Bruder den andern zum Tode überliefern und der Vater das Kind, und Kinder werden sich wider die Eltern erheben und werden sie zum Tode bringen;
Y entregará á la muerte el hermano al hermano, y el padre al hijo: y se levantarán los hijos contra los padres, y los matarán.
Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
und ihr werdet von jedermann gehaßt sein um meines Namens willen. Wer aber ausharrt bis ans Ende, der wird gerettet werden.
Y seréis aborrecidos de todos por mi nombre: mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
Wenn ihr aber den Greuel der Verwüstung da stehen sehet, wo er nicht soll (wer es liest, der merke darauf!), alsdann fliehe, wer im jüdischen Lande ist, auf die Berge.
Empero cuando viereis la abominación de asolamiento, que fué dicha por el profeta Daniel, que estará donde no debe (el que lee, entienda), entonces los que estén en Judea huyan á los montes;
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:

Wer aber auf dem Dache ist, der steige nicht hinab und gehe nicht hinein, um etwas aus seinem Hause zu holen;
Y el que esté sobre el terrado, no descienda á la casa, ni entre para tomar algo de su casa;
And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.
und wer auf dem Felde ist, der kehre nicht zurück, um sein Kleid zu holen.
Y el que estuviere en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar su capa.
And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
Wehe aber den Schwangern und den Säugenden in jenen Tagen!
Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que criaren en aquellos días!
But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
Bittet aber, daß eure Flucht nicht im Winter geschehe!
Orad pues, que no acontezca vuestra huída en invierno.
And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
Pray that your flight won’t be in the winter.
Denn es wird in jenen Tagen eine Trübsal sein, dergleichen nicht gewesen ist von Anfang der Schöpfung, die Gott erschaffen hat, bis jetzt, und wie auch keine mehr sein wird.
Porque aquellos días serán de aflicción, cual nunca fué desde el principio de la creación que crió Dios, hasta este tiempo, ni será.
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
Und wenn der Herr die Tage nicht verkürzt hätte, so würde kein Mensch errettet werden; aber um der Auserwählten willen, die er erwählt hat, hat er die Tage verkürzt.
Y si el Señor no hubiese abreviado aquellos días, ninguna carne se salvaría; mas por causa de los escogidos que él escogió, abrevió aquellos días.
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
Und wenn alsdann jemand zu euch sagen wird: Siehe, hier ist Christus, oder: Siehe dort, so glaubet es nicht.
Y entonces si alguno os dijere: He aquí, aquí está el Cristo; ó, He aquí, allí está, no le creáis.
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ don’t believe it.
Denn es werden falsche Christusse und falsche Propheten auftreten und werden Zeichen und Wunder tun, um womöglich auch die Auserwählten zu verführen.
Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y darán señales y prodigios, para engañar, si se pudiese hacer, aun á los escogidos.
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
Ihr aber sehet euch vor! Siehe, ich habe euch alles vorhergesagt.
Mas vosotros mirad; os lo he dicho antes todo.
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
Aber in jenen Tagen, nach jener Trübsal, wird die Sonne verfinstert werden, und der Mond wird seinen Schein nicht geben,
Empero en aquellos días, después de aquella aflicción, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su resplandor;
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
und die Sterne werden vom Himmel fallen und die Kräfte im Himmel in Bewegung geraten.
Y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes que están en los cielos serán conmovidas;
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
Und alsdann wird man des Menschen Sohn in den Wolken kommen sehen mit großer Kraft und Herrlichkeit.
Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre, que vendrá en las nubes con mucha potestad y gloria.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
Und dann wird er seine Engel aussenden und seine Auserwählten sammeln von den vier Winden, vom Ende der Erde bis zum Ende des Himmels.
Y entonces enviará sus ángeles, y juntará sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde el cabo de la tierra hasta el cabo del cielo.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
Von dem Feigenbaum aber lernet das Gleichnis: Wenn sein Zweig jetzt saftig wird und Blätter treibt, so merket ihr, daß der Sommer nahe ist.
De la higuera aprended la semejanza: Cuando su rama ya se enternece, y brota hojas, conocéis que el verano está cerca:
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
“Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
Also auch ihr, wenn ihr sehet, daß dieses geschieht, so merket, daß er nahe ist, vor der Tür.
Así también vosotros, cuando viereis hacerse estas cosas, conoced que está cerca, á las puertas.
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
Wahrlich, ich sage euch, dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis dies alles geschehen ist.
De cierto os digo que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no sean hechas.
Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Most certainly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.
El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Von jenem Tage aber und der Stunde weiß niemand, auch nicht die Engel im Himmel, auch nicht der Sohn, sondern nur der Vater.
Empero de aquel día y de la hora, nadie sabe; ni aun los ángeles que están en el cielo, ni el Hijo, sino el Padre.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
“But of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Sehet zu, wachet und betet! Denn ihr wisset nicht, wann die Zeit da ist.
Mirad, velad y orad: porque no sabéis cuándo será el tiempo.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.
Es ist wie bei einem Menschen, der verreiste, sein Haus verließ und seinen Knechten Vollmacht gab, einem jeden sein Werk, und dem Türhüter befahl, daß er wachen solle:
Como el hombre que partiéndose lejos, dejó su casa, y dió facultad á sus siervos, y á cada uno su obra, y al portero mandó que velase:
For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
“It is like a man traveling to another country, having left his house and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
so wachet nun, denn ihr wisset nicht, wann der Herr des Hauses kommt, ob am Abend oder zur Mitternacht oder um den Hahnenschrei oder am Morgen;
Velad pues, porque no sabéis cuándo el señor de la casa vendrá; si á la tarde, ó á la media noche, ó al canto del gallo, ó á la mañana;
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming—whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
auf daß nicht, wenn er unversehens kommt, er euch schlafend findet.
Porque cuando viniere de repente, no os halle durmiendo.
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
lest, coming suddenly, he might find you sleeping.
Was ich aber euch sage, das sage ich allen: Wachet!
Y las cosas que á vosotros digo, á todos las digo: Velad.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
What I tell you, I tell all: Watch!”
