El no obstante se afirmaba más y más en lo dicho, añadiendo: Aunque me sea forzoso morir contigo, yo no te negaré. Y lo mismo decían todos los demás.

Mas él con mayor porfía decía: Si me fuere menester morir contigo, no te negaré. También todos decían lo mismo.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.
