Marcos 14

Em dois dias seria a Páscoa e a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento. E os principais sacerdotes e os escribas andavam procurando um modo para prendê-lo em segredo e matá-lo.

Y DOS días después era la Pascua y los días de los panes sin levadura: y procuraban los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas cómo le prenderían por engaño, y le matarían.

After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception and kill him.

Pois diziam: "Não durante a Páscoa, para que um tumulto não surja entre o povo".

Y decían: No en el día de la fiesta, porque no se haga alboroto del pueblo.

But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot among the people.”

Estava Jesus em Betânia na casa de Simão, o leproso, e enquanto ele se reclinava à mesa, aproximou-se uma mulher com um vaso de alabastro que continha um líquido muito precioso, nardo puro. Ela quebrou o vaso e derramou sobre a cabeça de Jesus,

Y estando él en Bethania en casa de Simón el leproso, y sentado á la mesa, vino una mujer teniendo un alabastro de ungüento de nardo espique de mucho precio; y quebrando el alabastro, derramóselo sobre su cabeza.

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar and poured it over his head.

mas alguns se indignaram. Eles diziam entre si: "Por que esse desperdício de perfume?

Y hubo algunos que se enojaron dentro de sí, y dijeron: ¿Para qué se ha hecho este desperdicio de ungüento?

And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?

Esse perfume poderia ser vendido por mais de trezentos denários e assim ser dado aos pobres”. E a repreendiam.

Porque podía esto ser vendido por más de trescientos denarios, y darse á los pobres. Y murmuraban contra ella.

For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” So they grumbled against her.

Mas Jesus disse: "Deixai-a em paz. Por que a perturbais? Ela fez uma bela coisa por Mim.

Mas Jesús dijo: Dejadla; ¿por qué la fatigáis? buena obra me ha hecho;

And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.

No meio de vós sempre haverá pobres e sempre que quiserdes podeis fazer o bem a eles, porém, não Me tereis sempre.

Que siempre tendréis los pobres con vosotros, y cuando quisiereis les podréis hacer bien; mas á mí no siempre me tendréis.

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.

Ela fez o que podia, ungiu o Meu corpo antecipadamente para o sepultamento.

Esta ha hecho lo que podía; porque se ha anticipado á ungir mi cuerpo para la sepultura.

She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

Verdadeiramente vos digo, onde quer que o Evangelho for pregado no mundo todo, o que essa mulher fez será contado, em memória dela".

De cierto os digo que donde quiera que fuere predicado este evangelio en todo el mundo, también esto que ha hecho ésta, será dicho para memoria de ella.

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

Então Judas Iscariotes, um dos Doze, foi até os principais sacerdotes para entregar Jesus a eles.

Entonces Judas Iscariote, uno de los doce, vino á los príncipes de los sacerdotes, para entregársele.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.

Quando os sacerdotes ouviram isso, alegraram-se e prometeram dar-lhe dinheiro. E ele começou a procurar uma oportunidade de entregar-lhes Jesus.

Y ellos oyéndolo se holgaron, y prometieron que le darían dineros. Y buscaba oportunidad cómo le entregaría.

And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

No primeiro dia da Festa dos Pães sem Fermento, quando eles sacrificavam o cordeiro da Páscoa, Seus discípulos disseram-lhe: "Onde desejas que preparemos a refeição da Páscoa?".

Y el primer día de los panes sin levadura, cuando sacrificaban la pascua, sus discípulos le dicen: ¿Dónde quieres que vayamos á disponer para que comas la pascua?

And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover?”

Ele enviou dois dos Seus discípulos e disse-lhes: "Ide para a cidade e um homem carregando uma jarra de água vos encontrará. Segui-o.

Y envía dos de sus discípulos, y les dice: Id á la ciudad, y os encontrará un hombre que lleva un cántaro de agua; seguidle;

And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him,

E onde quer que ele entrar, segui-o e dizei ao dono da casa: 'O Mestre diz: Onde fica a sala em que comerei a refeição da Páscoa com Meus discípulos?'.

Y donde entrare, decid al señor de la casa: El Maestro dice: ¿Dónde está el aposento donde he de comer la pascua con mis discípulos?

And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

E ele vos mostrará uma grande sala mobiliada no andar superior que está pronta. Fazei lá nossos preparativos.

Y él os mostrará un gran cenáculo ya preparado: aderezad para nosotros allí.

And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”

Os discípulos saíram e foram até a cidade; encontraram tudo como Ele havia lhes dito e prepararam a refeição da Páscoa.

Y fueron sus discípulos, y vinieron á la ciudad, y hallaron como les había dicho; y aderezaron la pascua.

And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

Quando já era noite, Ele veio com os doze.

Y llegada la tarde, fué con los doce.

And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.

When it was evening he came with the twelve.

Enquanto estavam reclinados à mesa e comendo, Jesus disse: "Verdadeiramente Eu vos digo, um de vós, que está comendo Comigo, irá Me trair".

Y como se sentaron á la mesa y comiesen, dice Jesús: De cierto os digo que uno de vosotros, que come conmigo, me ha de entregar.

And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”

Todos se entristeceram e um a um disseram-Lhe: "Acaso sou eu?"

Entonces ellos comenzaron á entristecerse, y á decirle cada uno por sí: ¿Seré yo? Y el otro: ¿Seré yo?

And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”

Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: "É um dos doze, aquele que agora mergulha o pão Comigo na tigela.

Y él respondiendo les dijo: Es uno de los doce que moja conmigo en el plato.

And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.

Porque o Filho do homem vai conforme as escrituras dizem sobre Ele; mas ai daquele que O trair! Melhor seria para ele se não tivesse nascido".

A la verdad el Hijo del hombre va, como está de él escrito; mas ¡ay de aquel hombre por quien el Hijo del hombre es entregado! bueno le fuera á aquel hombre si nunca hubiera nacido.

The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

Enquanto comiam, Jesus pegou o pão, abençoou-o, repartiu-o e lhes deu. Então disse: "Tomai, este é o Meu corpo".

Y estando ellos comiendo, tomó Jesús pan, y bendiciendo, partió y les dió, y dijo: Tomad, esto es mi cuerpo.

And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”

Ele pegou um cálice, agradeceu, deu-lhes e todos beberam dele.

Y tomando el vaso, habiendo hecho gracias, les dió: y bebieron de él todos.

And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.

Então disse-lhes: "Este é o Meu sangue da aliança, o sangue que é derramado em favor de muitos.

Y les dice: Esto es mi sangre del nuevo pacto, que por muchos es derramada.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.

Em verdade vos digo, Eu não beberei novamente do fruto da vinha até o dia em que Eu beber o vinho novo no Reino de Deus".

De cierto os digo que no beberé más del fruto de la vid, hasta aquel día cuando lo beberé nuevo en el reino de Dios.

Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in God’s Kingdom.”

Após cantarem um hino, foram para o Monte das Oliveiras.

Y como hubieron cantado el himno, se salieron al monte de las Olivas.

And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Jesus lhes disse: "Vós todos Me abandonareis, porque está escrito: 'Ferirei o Pastor e todas as ovelhas se espalharão'.

Jesús entonces les dice: Todos seréis escandalizados en mí esta noche; porque escrito está: Heriré al pastor, y serán derramadas las ovejas.

And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

Mas depois da Minha ressurreição, Eu irei à vossa frente para a Galileia".

Mas después que haya resucitado, iré delante de vosotros á Galilea.

But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”

Pedro lhe disse: "Mesmo que todos Te abandonem, eu não Te abandonarei".

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Aunque todos sean escandalizados, mas no yo.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”

Jesus disse a ele: "Verdadeiramente Eu digo que, esta noite, antes que o galo cante duas vezes, você Me negará três vezes".

Y le dice Jesús: De cierto te digo que tú, hoy, en esta noche, antes que el gallo haya cantado dos veces, me negarás tres veces.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Mas Pedro disse: "Mesmo que eu morra Contigo, não Te negarei". Todos eles fizeram a mesma promessa.

Mas él con mayor porfía decía: Si me fuere menester morir contigo, no te negaré. También todos decían lo mismo.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

Eles foram para um lugar chamado Getsêmani, e Jesus disse aos Seus discípulos: "Sentai aqui enquanto Eu oro".

Y vienen al lugar que se llama Gethsemaní, y dice á sus discípulos: Sentaos aquí, entre tanto que yo oro.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

Ele tomou Pedro, Tiago e João, então começou a ficar angustiado e em extrema aflição.

Y toma consigo á Pedro y á Jacobo y á Juan, y comenzó á atemorizarse, y á angustiarse.

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.

Jesus disse-lhes: "Minha alma está profundamente triste, a ponto de morrer. Permanecei aqui e vigiai".

Y les dice: Está muy triste mi alma, hasta la muerte: esperad aquí y velad.

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”

Jesus foi um pouco mais longe, caiu em terra, e orava, para que, se fosse possível, essa hora passasse Dele.

Y yéndose un poco adelante, se postró en tierra, y oró que si fuese posible, pasase de él aquella hora.

And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Ele disse: "Aba, Pai, todas as coisas são possíveis para Ti, tira este cálice de Mim. Porém, que não seja a Minha vontade, mas a Tua".

Y decía: Abba, Padre, todas las cosas son á ti posibles; traspasa de mí este vaso; empero no lo que yo quiero, sino lo que tú.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

Ele retornou, encontrou-os dormindo, e disse a Pedro: "Simão, tu estás dormindo? Não podes vigiar nem por uma hora?

Y vino y los halló durmiendo; y dice á Pedro: ¿Simón, duermes? ¿No has podido velar una hora?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?

Vigiai e orai para que não entreis em tentação. O espírito está preparado, mas a carne é fraca".

Velad y orad, para que no entréis en tentación: el espíritu á la verdad es presto, mas la carne enferma.

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Novamente Ele Se distanciou e orou, e usou as mesmas palavras.

Y volviéndose á ir, oró, y dijo las mismas palabras.

And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.

Outra vez Se aproximou Jesus dos discípulos e os encontrou dormindo; seus olhos estavam muito pesados e eles não sabiam o que Lhe dizer.

Y vuelto, los halló otra vez durmiendo, porque los ojos de ellos estaban cargados; y no sabían qué responderle.

And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

Again he returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they didn’t know what to answer him.

Ele veio pela terceira vez e disse-lhes: "Ainda estais dormindo e descansando? Basta! A hora chegou. Eis que o Filho do Homem está sendo entregue às mãos dos pecadores.

Y vino la tercera vez, y les dice: Dormid ya y descansad: basta, la hora es venida; he aquí, el Hijo del hombre es entregado en manos de los pecadores.

And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

He came the third time and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Levantai-vos, vamos! Eis que aquele que está Me traindo está próximo".

Levantaos, vamos: he aquí, el que me entrega está cerca.

Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

Arise! Let’s get going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”

Imediatamente, enquanto Ele ainda falava, Judas, um dos doze, chegou, e uma grande multidão estava com ele; armada de espadas e pedaços de pau, da parte do principais sacerdotes, escribas e anciãos.

Y luego, aun hablando él, vino Judas, que era uno de los doce, y con él una compañía con espadas y palos, de parte de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas y de los ancianos.

And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.

O traidor deu-lhes um sinal, dizendo: "É Aquele que eu beijar". Prendei-O e levai-O sob guarda".

Y el que le entregaba les había dado señal común, diciendo: Al que yo besare, aquél es: prendedle, y llevadle con seguridad.

And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”

Quando Judas chegou, imediatamente veio até Jesus e Lhe disse: "Rabi!" e ele O beijou.

Y como vino, se acercó luego á él, y le dice: Maestro, Maestro. Y le besó.

And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

When he had come, immediately he came to him and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.

Então eles O pegaram e prenderam-No.

Entonces ellos echaron en él sus manos, y le prendieron.

And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

They laid their hands on him and seized him.

Mas um dos que ali estavam puxou sua espada, feriu o servo do sumo sacerdote e cortou fora sua orelha.

Y uno de los que estaban allí, sacando la espada, hirió al siervo del sumo sacerdote, y le cortó la oreja.

And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

Jesus lhes disse: "Saístes para Me prender como contra um ladrão, com espadas e pedaços de pau?

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Como á ladrón habéis salido con espadas y con palos á tomarme?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

Jesus answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

Quando Eu estava convosco e ensinava diariamente no templo, não Me prendestes. Mas isso foi feito para que as Escrituras fossem cumpridas".

Cada día estaba con vosotros enseñando en el templo, y no me tomasteis; pero es así, para que se cumplan las Escrituras.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.”

E todos os que estavam com Jesus O deixaram e fugiram.

Entonces dejándole todos sus discípulos, huyeron.

And they all forsook him, and fled.

They all left him, and fled.

Um jovem O seguia, o qual estava vestindo apenas um lençol de linho que estava envolto nele; eles o agarraram, mas

Empero un mancebillo le seguía cubierto de una sábana sobre el cuerpo desnudo; y los mancebos le prendieron:

And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,

o jovem deixou para trás o lençol e fugiu deles nu.

Mas él, dejando la sábana, se huyó de ellos desnudo.

And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

but he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.

Levaram Jesus ao sumo sacerdote. Reuniram-se todos os principais sacerdotes, anciãos e escribas.

Y trajeron á Jesús al sumo sacerdote; y se juntaron á él todos los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los ancianos y los escribas.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.

Nessa hora, Pedro acompanhava tudo a distância, até o interior do pátio do sumo sacerdote. Ele se sentou entre os guardas, que estavam próximos ao fogo, para se manter aquecido.

Empero Pedro le siguió de lejos hasta dentro del patio del sumo sacerdote; y estaba sentado con los servidores, y calentándose al fuego.

And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.

Os principais sacerdotes e todo o Sinédrio procuravam testemunhos contra Jesus, para que pudessem matá-Lo. Mas eles não encontraram,

Y los príncipes de los sacerdotes y todo el concilio buscaban testimonio contra Jesús, para entregarle á la muerte; mas no lo hallaban.

And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.

pois muitos trouxeram falsos testemunhos contra Ele, mas mesmo esses testemunhos eram divergentes.

Porque muchos decían falso testimonio contra él; mas sus testimonios no concertaban.

For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.

Alguns se levantaram e trouxeram falso testemunho contra Ele; eles diziam:

Entonces levantándose unos, dieron falso testimonio contra él, diciendo:

And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying,

"Nós O ouvimos dizer: 'Eu destruirei esse templo feito por mãos humanas e em três dias eu construirei outro, não feito por mãos humanas'".

Nosotros le hemos oído decir: Yo derribaré este templo que es hecho de mano, y en tres días edificaré otro echo sin mano.

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”

Ainda assim seus testemunhos divergiam.

Mas ni aun así se concertaba el testimonio de ellos.

But neither so did their witness agree together.

Even so, their testimony didn’t agree.

Então, o sumo sacerdote se levantou no meio deles e perguntou a Jesus: "Tu não respondes nada? O que esses homens depõem contra Ti?"

Entonces el sumo sacerdote, levantándose en medio, preguntó á Jesús, diciendo: ¿No respondes algo? ¿Qué atestiguan éstos contra ti?

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

The high priest stood up in the middle, and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”

Mas Ele estava em silêncio e não respondia. Outra vez o sumo sacerdote perguntou: "Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus Bendito?"

Mas él callaba, y nada respondía. El sumo sacerdote le volvió á preguntar, y le dice: ¿Eres tú el Cristo, el Hijo del Bendito?

But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

Jesus disse: "Eu sou. E vereis O Filho do Homem sentado à direita do Poderoso e vindo com as nuvens do céu".

Y Jesús le dijo: Yo soy; y veréis al Hijo del hombre sentado á la diestra de la potencia de Dios, y viniendo en las nubes del cielo.

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”

Diante disso, o sumo sacerdote rasgou suas roupas e disse: "Ainda precisamos de testemunhas?

Entonces el sumo sacerdote, rasgando sus vestidos, dijo: ¿Qué más tenemos necesidad de testigos?

Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

The high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?

Vós ouvistes a blasfêmia. Qual é a vossa decisão?". E todos condenaram a Jesus como merecedor de morte.

Oído habéis la blasfemia: ¿qué os parece? Y ellos todos le condenaron ser culpado de muerte.

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Estando Pedro na parte de baixo, no pátio, uma das servas do sumo sacerdote veio até ele.

Y estando Pedro abajo en el atrio, vino una de las criadas del sumo sacerdote;

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,

Ela, vendo Pedro próximo ao fogo, para se manter aquecido, olhou bem para ele e disse: "Tu também estavas com o Nazareno, Jesus".

Y como vió á Pedro que se calentaba, mirándole, dice: Y tú con Jesús el Nazareno estabas.

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!”

Mas ele negou, dizendo: "Eu nem sei nem entendo o que tu estás falando". Então ele saiu para o pátio.

Mas él negó, diciendo: No conozco, ni sé lo que dices. Y se salió fuera á la entrada; y cantó el gallo.

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.

Mas lá, a criada o viu e começou a dizer de novo aos que ali estavam: "Esse homem é um deles!"

Y la criada viéndole otra vez, comenzó á decir á los que estaban allí: Este es de ellos.

And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

The maid saw him and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

Mas ele negou isso novamente. Logo, os que lá se encontravam diziam a Pedro: "Com certeza és um deles, pois também és um galileu".

Mas él negó otra vez. Y poco después, los que estaban allí dijeron otra vez á Pedro: Verdaderamente tú eres de ellos; porque eres Galileo, y tu habla es semejante.

And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”

Mas ele começou a amaldiçoar e a jurar: "Eu não conheço esse Homem de quem falais".

Y él comenzó á maldecir y á jurar: No conozco á este hombre de quien habláis.

But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

But he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”

Então, imediatamente, o galo cantou pela segunda vez. Pedro então se lembrou das palavras que Jesus havia lhe dito: "Antes que o galo cante duas vezes, três vezes Me negarás". Ele se irrompeu em tristeza e começou a chorar.

Y el gallo cantó la segunda vez: y Pedro se acordó de las palabras que Jesús le había dicho: Antes que el gallo cante dos veces, me negarás tres veces. Y pensando en esto, lloraba.

And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the words that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
