Marcos 14

Das Pascha-Fest und †das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote waren {aber} in zwei Tagen. Da suchten die Hohepriester und die Schriftgelehrten †einen Weg, wie sie ihn mit einer List ergreifen und töten könnten,

Y DOS días después era la Pascua y los días de los panes sin levadura: y procuraban los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas cómo le prenderían por engaño, y le matarían.

After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception and kill him.

denn sie sagten (sagten sich): „Nicht während des Festes, sonst wird es einen Aufruhr der Volksgemeinde geben.“

Y decían: No en el día de la fiesta, porque no se haga alboroto del pueblo.

But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot among the people.”

Und als er in Bethanien im Haus Simons des Leprakranken war – als er †bei Tisch lag – kam eine Frau, die ein Alabastergefäß voll kostbaren, reinem Nardenparfums †bei sich hatte. Nachdem sie das Alabastergefäß zerbrochen hatte, goss sie †das Öl herab auf seinen Kopf.

Y estando él en Bethania en casa de Simón el leproso, y sentado á la mesa, vino una mujer teniendo un alabastro de ungüento de nardo espique de mucho precio; y quebrando el alabastro, derramóselo sobre su cabeza.

And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar and poured it over his head.

Einige aber waren {untereinander} verärgert (voller Empörung) †und sagten zueinander: „Für was ist diese Verschwendung des Parfums geschehen?

Y hubo algunos que se enojaron dentro de sí, y dijeron: ¿Para qué se ha hecho este desperdicio de ungüento?

And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?

Man hätte nämlich dieses Parfum für mehr als 300 Denare (teurer als für 300 Denare) verkaufen und †den Erlös den Armen geben können.“ Und sie machten ihr Vorwürfe.

Porque podía esto ser vendido por más de trescientos denarios, y darse á los pobres. Y murmuraban contra ella.

For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” So they grumbled against her.

Jesus aber sprach: „Lasst sie! Was macht ihr ihr Beschwerden? Sie hat ein gutes Werk an mir getan –

Mas Jesús dijo: Dejadla; ¿por qué la fatigáis? buena obra me ha hecho;

And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.

und die Armen habt ihr immer bei euch und sooft (falls) ihr wollt, könnt ihr ihnen (immer) wohltun (Gutes tun); mich aber habt ihr nicht immer.

Que siempre tendréis los pobres con vosotros, y cuando quisiereis les podréis hacer bien; mas á mí no siempre me tendréis.

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.

Was sie †tun konnte (was sie hatte), hat sie getan: Sie hat es vorweggenommen, meinen Leib für das Begräbnis einzubalsamieren.

Esta ha hecho lo que podía; porque se ha anticipado á ungir mi cuerpo para la sepultura.

She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

Amen, ich sage euch, wo auch immer diese Freuden-Botschaft (dieses Evangelium) auf der ganzen Welt verkündet wird, wird auch von dem, was diese getan hat, gesprochen werden – zur Erinnerung an sie.“

De cierto os digo que donde quiera que fuere predicado este evangelio en todo el mundo, también esto que ha hecho ésta, será dicho para memoria de ella.

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

Und Judas Iskariot, einer der Zwölf, ging zu den Hohepriestern, um ihn an sie auszuliefern.

Entonces Judas Iscariote, uno de los doce, vino á los príncipes de los sacerdotes, para entregársele.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.

Und sie freuten sich, als sie †das hörten, und versprachen, ihm Geld zu geben. Und er suchte †einen Weg, wie er ihn zur rechten Zeit ausliefern könnte.

And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

Und am ersten Tag †des Festes der ungesäuerten †Brote, als sie das Pascha†lamm opferten (an dem man das Pascha†lamm zu opfern pflegte), fragten ihn seine Jünger: „Wo willst du, †dass wir {fortgehend} vorbereiten, damit du das Pascha essen kann?“

And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him,

und wo auch immer er hineingeht, sagt zu dem Hausherrn {dass}: »Der Lehrer sagt: »Wo ist mein Gästezimmer, wo ich das Pascha†mahl mit meinen Jüngern essen kann?««!

Y donde entrare, decid al señor de la casa: El Maestro dice: ¿Dónde está el aposento donde he de comer la pascua con mis discípulos?

And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

Und dieser wird euch ein großes Zimmer im Obergeschoss zeigen, möbliert und vorbereitet. Dort bereitet für uns vor!“

Y él os mostrará un gran cenáculo ya preparado: aderezad para nosotros allí.

And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”

Und die Jünger gingen hinaus und kamen in die Stadt, und sie fanden †alles so vor, wie er †es ihnen gesagt hatte, und sie bereiteten das Pascha†mahl vor.

Y fueron sus discípulos, y vinieron á la ciudad, y hallaron como les había dicho; y aderezaron la pascua.

And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

Und als †es Abend geworden war (wurde), kam er mit den Zwölf.

And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.

Und während (als) sie zum Essen lagen, sagte Jesus: „Amen, ich sage euch: Einer von euch, der mit mir isst, wird mich ausliefern.“

Y como se sentaron á la mesa y comiesen, dice Jesús: De cierto os digo que uno de vosotros, que come conmigo, me ha de entregar.

And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”

Das machte sie bestürzt (traurig) und einer nach dem anderen sagte zu ihm: „Doch nicht etwa ich?“

Entonces ellos comenzaron á entristecerse, y á decirle cada uno por sí: ¿Seré yo? Y el otro: ¿Seré yo?

And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”

Da sagte er zu ihnen: „Einer der Zwölf, der †das Brot mit mir in die (eine) Schüssel tunkt.

Y él respondiendo les dijo: Es uno de los doce que moja conmigo en el plato.

And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.

Denn der Menschensohn geht zwar, wie über ihn geschrieben steht, aber wehe jenem Menschen, durch den der Menschensohn ausgeliefert wird! †Es wäre besser für ihn, wenn jener Mensch nicht geboren worden wäre.“

A la verdad el Hijo del hombre va, como está de él escrito; mas ¡ay de aquel hombre por quien el Hijo del hombre es entregado! bueno le fuera á aquel hombre si nunca hubiera nacido.

The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

Und als er bei (nach) ihrem Essen ein Brot genommen und †Gott gedankt hatte, hatte, brach er †es, gab †es ihnen und sagte: „Nehmt, dies ist mein Leib!“

Y estando ellos comiendo, tomó Jesús pan, y bendiciendo, partió y les dió, y dijo: Tomad, esto es mi cuerpo.

And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”

Und als er einen Becher (Kelch) genommen und †Gott gedankt hatte, gab er †ihn ihnen und sie alle tranken aus diesem.

Y tomando el vaso, habiendo hecho gracias, les dió: y bebieron de él todos.

And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

Und er sagte zu ihnen: „Dies ist mein Blut des (neuen) Bundes, für viele vergossen.

Y les dice: Esto es mi sangre del nuevo pacto, que por muchos es derramada.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.

Amen, ich sage euch: Ich werde nicht wieder vom Gewächs des Weinstocks trinken bis zu jenem Tag, an dem ich †von ihm erneut (ihn als neuen) im Reich Gottes trinken werde.“

De cierto os digo que no beberé más del fruto de la vid, hasta aquel día cuando lo beberé nuevo en el reino de Dios.

Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in God’s Kingdom.”

Und nachdem sie †Loblieder gesungen hatten, gingen sie hinaus zum Ölberg.

Y como hubieron cantado el himno, se salieron al monte de las Olivas.

And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Da sagt†e Jesus zu ihnen: „Ihr werdet alle zu Fall kommen (ärgern),,weil geschrieben steht: »Ich werde den Hirten schlagen (erschlagen), und die Schafe werden zerstreut werden.«

Jesús entonces les dice: Todos seréis escandalizados en mí esta noche; porque escrito está: Heriré al pastor, y serán derramadas las ovejas.

And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

Doch nachdem ich auferweckt worden sein werde, werde ich euch nach Galiläa vorausgehen (in Galiläa anführen).“

Mas después que haya resucitado, iré delante de vosotros á Galilea.

But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

Petrus aber sagte zu ihm: „Und wenn alle zu Fall kommen (sich ärgern) werden – ich aber nicht!“

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Aunque todos sean escandalizados, mas no yo.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”

Und Jesus sagt†e zu ihm: „Amen, ich sage dir: Du wirst mich heute, in dieser Nacht, vor dem zweimaligen Krähen des Hahns, dreimal verleugnen.“

Y le dice Jesús: De cierto te digo que tú, hoy, en esta noche, antes que el gallo haya cantado dos veces, me negarás tres veces.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Er aber sagte †überaus vehement: „Wenn ich zusammen sterben müsste mit dir, werde ich dich keinesfalls verleugnen!“ Und genauso redeten auch alle †anderen.

Mas él con mayor porfía decía: Si me fuere menester morir contigo, no te negaré. También todos decían lo mismo.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

Und sie kommen (kamen) zu einem Grundstück (Landstück), dessen Name „Getsemani“ †war, und er sagt†e seinen Jüngern: „Setzt euch (sitzt) hier, bis ich gebetet habe!“

Y vienen al lugar que se llama Gethsemaní, y dice á sus discípulos: Sentaos aquí, entre tanto que yo oro.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

Dann nimmt (nahm) er Petrus und Jakobus und Johannes mit sich und begann, erschreckt (erstaunt) und verängstigt zu sein (war erschreckt und verängstigt),

Y toma consigo á Pedro y á Jacobo y á Juan, y comenzó á atemorizarse, y á angustiarse.

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

und er sagt†e ihnen: „Meine Seele ist (ich bin) zu Tode betrübt; bleibt hier und wacht (bleibt wach)!“

Y les dice: Está muy triste mi alma, hasta la muerte: esperad aquí y velad.

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”

Und nachdem er ein wenig weitergegangen war, warf er sich (fiel er) auf die Erde und betete, dass – wenn es möglich sei – die Stunde an ihm vorüberginge,

And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

und er sagte: „Abba, Vater, alles †ist dir möglich. Trag diesen Becher (Kelch) an mir vorüber! Doch nicht, wie ich will, sondern wie du †willst!“

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

Und er kommt (kam) und findet (fand) sie schlafend †vor und er sagt†e zu Petrus: „Simon, du schläfst!? (Schläfst du?) Vermochtest du nicht eine einzige Stunde zu wachen!?

Y vino y los halló durmiendo; y dice á Pedro: ¿Simón, duermes? ¿No has podido velar una hora?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?

Seid wach (wachsam) und betet darum, dass (damit) ihr nicht in Versuchung geratet! Der Geist †ist zwar willig, aber das Fleisch †ist schwach.“

Velad y orad, para que no entréis en tentación: el espíritu á la verdad es presto, mas la carne enferma.

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Und nachdem er erneut weggegangen war, betete und sprach dasselbe Gebet (Wort).

And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

Und nachdem er zurückkehrte, fand er sie erneut schlafend †vor, denn ihre Augen waren schwer. Und sie wussten nicht, was sie ihm antworten sollten.

Y vuelto, los halló otra vez durmiendo, porque los ojos de ellos estaban cargados; y no sabían qué responderle.

And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

Again he returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they didn’t know what to answer him.

Und er kommt (kam) das dritte Mal und sagt†e ihnen: „Von nun an könnt ihr schlafen und euch ausruhen, es langt. Die Stunde ist gekommen, siehe!, ausgeliefert wird der Menschensohn in die Hände der Sünder.

Y vino la tercera vez, y les dice: Dormid ya y descansad: basta, la hora es venida; he aquí, el Hijo del hombre es entregado en manos de los pecadores.

And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

He came the third time and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Erhebt euch, lasst uns aufbrechen! Siehe!, der mich ausliefert, ist genaht.“

Levantaos, vamos: he aquí, el que me entrega está cerca.

Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

Arise! Let’s get going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”

Und sogleich, noch während er redete, kommt (kam) Judas, einer der Zwölf, und mit ihm eine Menge mit Schwertern und Keulen (Schlagstöcken) von den Hohepriestern und den Schriftgelehrten und den Ältesten.

Y luego, aun hablando él, vino Judas, que era uno de los doce, y con él una compañía con espadas y palos, de parte de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas y de los ancianos.

And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.

Aber der ihn auslieferte, hatte ihnen ein Signal gegeben (ein Signal mit ihnen vereinbart){, sagend}: „Den, welchen ich küssen (lieben) werde, der ist es. Ergreift ihn und führt ihn gesichert (unter Bewachung, sicher) ab!“

Y el que le entregaba les había dado señal común, diciendo: Al que yo besare, aquél es: prendedle, y llevadle con seguridad.

And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”

Und als er kam †und sogleich zu ihm kam, sagt†e er: „Rabbi! (Rabbi, Rabbi!)“,, und er küsste ihn.

Y como vino, se acercó luego á él, y le dice: Maestro, Maestro. Y le besó.

And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

When he had come, immediately he came to him and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.

Da legten sie (sie aber legten) die Hände an ihn und ergriffen ihn (nahmen ihn fest).

Entonces ellos echaron en él sus manos, y le prendieron.

And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

Ein Gewisser aber von den Dabeistehenden zog das Schwert, schlug den Diener des Hohepriesters und trennte dessen Ohr (Ohrläppchen?) ab.

Y uno de los que estaban allí, sacando la espada, hirió al siervo del sumo sacerdote, y le cortó la oreja.

And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

Und Jesus antwortete {und sagte zu} ihnen: „Wie gegen einen Räuber (Rebellen, Aufwiegler) seid ihr mit Schwertern und Keulen ausgezogen, um mich festzunehmen!?

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Como á ladrón habéis salido con espadas y con palos á tomarme?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

Jesus answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

Tag für Tag (Tagsüber) war ich bei euch im Tempel und lehrte (Tag für Tag lehrte ich bei euch im Tempel) und ihr habt mich nicht ergriffen. Aber †es sei, dass die Schriften erfüllt werden! (Aber †all dies geschieht, damit die Schriften erfüllt werden.)“

Cada día estaba con vosotros enseñando en el templo, y no me tomasteis; pero es así, para que se cumplan las Escrituras.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

Und indem sie ihn verließen, flohen alle.

Entonces dejándole todos sus discípulos, huyeron.

And they all forsook him, and fled.

Und ein gewisser junger Mann folgte ihm (wollte ihm folgen), bekleidet mit einem Leinentuch über †seinem nackten †Körper, und sie ergreifen (ergriffen) ihn,

Empero un mancebillo le seguía cubierto de una sábana sobre el cuerpo desnudo; y los mancebos le prendieron:

And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,

aber er ließ das Leinentuch zurück und floh nackt.

Und sie führten Jesus zum Hohepriester ab und alle obersten (führenden, Hohe-) Priester und die Ältesten und die Schriftgelehrten kommen (kamen) zusammen (versammelten sich).

And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.

Und Petrus war ihm in einiger Entfernung bis nach drinnen (hinein) in den Innenhof (Palast) des Hohepriesters gefolgt, und †dort saß er (setzte er sich) bei den Dienern (Wächtern) und wärmte sich am Licht (Feuer).

Empero Pedro le siguió de lejos hasta dentro del patio del sumo sacerdote; y estaba sentado con los servidores, y calentándose al fuego.

And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.

Die obersten (führenden, Hohen) Priester {aber} und der ganze Hohe Rat (Sanhedrin) suchten nach einer Zeugenaussage gegen Jesus, um ihn zu töten, aber sie fanden keine,

Y los príncipes de los sacerdotes y todo el concilio buscaban testimonio contra Jesús, para entregarle á la muerte; mas no lo hallaban.

And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.

denn viele machten Falschaussagen gegen ihn, aber ihre Aussagen waren nicht übereinstimmend (gleich).

Porque muchos decían falso testimonio contra él; mas sus testimonios no concertaban.

For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.

Und einige standen auf und machten gegen ihn Falschaussagen, {sagend}:

Entonces levantándose unos, dieron falso testimonio contra él, diciendo:

And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying,

„Wir haben gehört, wie (dass) er sagte: Ich werde diesen von Hand erbauten Tempel abreißen und innerhalb von drei Tagen einen anderen, nicht von Hand erbauten, errichten!“

Nosotros le hemos oído decir: Yo derribaré este templo que es hecho de mano, y en tres días edificaré otro echo sin mano.

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”

Aber (und) nicht einmal (auch nicht) darin (so) war ihre Aussage (ihr Zeugnis) übereinstimmend (gleich).

Mas ni aun así se concertaba el testimonio de ellos.

But neither so did their witness agree together.

Even so, their testimony didn’t agree.

Da (und) stand der Hohe Priester auf, †trat in die Mitte und fragte (befragte, verhörte) Jesus, {indem er sagte}: „Entgegnest (antwortest) du gar nichts †auf das, was diese gegen dich als Aussage machen?“ („Entgegnest du nichts? Was sagen diese gegen dich aus?“)

Entonces el sumo sacerdote, levantándose en medio, preguntó á Jesús, diciendo: ¿No respondes algo? ¿Qué atestiguan éstos contra ti?

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

The high priest stood up in the middle, and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”

Er aber schwieg †weiter und antwortete gar nichts. Wieder fragte (befragte, verhörte) ihn der Hohepriester und sagt†e †zu ihm: „Bist du der Messias (Gesalbte, Christus, versprochene Retter), der Sohn des Gepriesenen (Hochgelobten, zu Preisenden)?“

Mas él callaba, y nada respondía. El sumo sacerdote le volvió á preguntar, y le dice: ¿Eres tú el Cristo, el Hijo del Bendito?

But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

Da (aber) sagte Jesus: „Ich bin †es, und ihr werdet den Menschensohn (Sohn des Menschen) sehen, wie er an der rechten †Seite des Allmächtigen (der Macht) sitzt und mit den Wolken des Himmels kommt.“

Y Jesús le dijo: Yo soy; y veréis al Hijo del hombre sentado á la diestra de la potencia de Dios, y viniendo en las nubes del cielo.

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”

Da (aber) zerriss der Hohe Priester seine Kleider †und sagt†e: „Wozu (was) bedürfen wir noch Zeugen?

Entonces el sumo sacerdote, rasgando sus vestidos, dijo: ¿Qué más tenemos necesidad de testigos?

Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

The high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?

Ihr habt die Gotteslästerung gehört. Was ist eurer Urteil (eure Meinung)?“ Und (aber) sie alle verurteilten ihn, des Todes schuldig zu sein.

Oído habéis la blasfemia: ¿qué os parece? Y ellos todos le condenaron ser culpado de muerte.

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.

Dann spuckten ihn einige an und verhüllten sein Gesicht und prügelten ihn und sagten ihm: „Prophezeie!“, und †auch die Diener nahmen sich seiner mit Ohrfeigen an.

Y algunos comenzaron á escupir en él, y cubrir su rostro, y á darle bofetadas, y decirle: Profetiza. Y los servidores le herían de bofetadas.

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, “Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.

Und während Petrus unten im Hof war, kommt (kam) eine der Mägde des Hohepriesters,

Y estando Pedro abajo en el atrio, vino una de las criadas del sumo sacerdote;

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:

As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,

und als sie sah, dass Petrus sich wärmte, blickte sie ihn an und sagt†e: „Auch du warst mit dem Nazarener Jesus!“

Y como vió á Pedro que se calentaba, mirándole, dice: Y tú con Jesús el Nazareno estabas.

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!”

Aber er leugnete und sagte: „Weder weiß ich noch verstehe ich, was du sagst.“ Und er ging hinaus nach draußen in den Vorhof, {und ein Hahn krähte}.

Mas él negó, diciendo: No conozco, ni sé lo que dices. Y se salió fuera á la entrada; y cantó el gallo.

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.

Und als die Magd ihn sah, sagte sie erneut zu den Dabeistehenden: „Dieser gehört zu ihnen!“

Y la criada viéndole otra vez, comenzó á decir á los que estaban allí: Este es de ellos.

And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

The maid saw him and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

Aber er leugnete wieder. Und kurz danach sagten diejenigen, die dabeistanden, erneut zu Petrus: „Wahrhaftig, du gehörst zu ihnen, denn du bist auch ein Galiläer!“

Mas él negó otra vez. Y poco después, los que estaban allí dijeron otra vez á Pedro: Verdaderamente tú eres de ellos; porque eres Galileo, y tu habla es semejante.

And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”

Er aber verfluchte und zu schwor: „Ich kenne diesen Menschen nicht, †von den ihr sprecht!“

Y él comenzó á maldecir y á jurar: No conozco á este hombre de quien habláis.

But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

But he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”

Und sogleich krähte zum zweiten Mal ({zum zweiten Mal}) ein Hahn. Da erinnerte sich Petrus an das Wort, wie Jesus zu ihm gesagt hatte: „Bevor dem zweimaligen Krähen des Hahns wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen.“ Und er brach in Tränen aus.

Y el gallo cantó la segunda vez: y Pedro se acordó de las palabras que Jesús le había dicho: Antes que el gallo cante dos veces, me negarás tres veces. Y pensando en esto, lloraba.

And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the words that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
