Marcos 15

So Pilate, because he wanted ⌞to satisfy⌟ the crowd, released for them Barabbas. And after he had Jesus flogged, he handed him over so that he could be crucified.

Y Pilato, queriendo satisfacer al pueblo, les soltó á Barrabás, y entregó á Jesús, después de azotarle, para que fuese crucificado.

And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
