Et aussitôt, dès le matin, les principaux sacrificateurs, ayant tenu conseil avec les anciens et les scribes, et tout le sanhédrin, lièrent Jésus, l'emmenèrent et le livrèrent à Pilate.

Y LUEGO por la mañana, habiendo tenido consejo los príncipes de los sacerdotes con los ancianos, y con los escribas, y con todo el concilio, llevaron á Jesús atado, y le entregaron á Pilato.

And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

Et Pilate l'interrogea : Es-tu le roi des Juifs ? Et répondant il lui dit : Tu le dis.

Y Pilato le preguntó: ¿Eres tú el Rey de los Judíos? Y respondiendo él, le dijo: Tú lo dices.

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.

Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered, “So you say.”

Et les principaux sacrificateurs l'accusaient de plusieurs choses.

Y los príncipes de los sacerdotes le acusaban mucho.

And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

Et Pilate l'interrogea de nouveau et lui dit : Ne réponds-tu rien ? Vois de combien de choses ils t'accusent.

Y le preguntó otra vez Pilato, diciendo: ¿No respondes algo? Mira de cuántas cosas te acusan.

And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.

Or il y avait le nommé Barabbas, détenu avec ses complices de sédition, parce qu'ils avaient commis un meurtre dans la sédition.

And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

Et la foule étant montée, se mit à demander ce qu'il faisait ordinairement pour eux.

Y viniendo la multitud, comenzó á pedir hiciese como siempre les había hecho.

And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

Mais Pilate leur répondit : Voulez-vous que je vous relâche le roi des Juifs ?

Y Pilato les respondió, diciendo: ¿Queréis que os suelte al Rey de los Judíos?

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

Car il comprenait que c'était par envie que les principaux sacrificateurs l'avaient livré.

Porque conocía que por envidia le habían entregado los príncipes de los sacerdotes.

For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.

Mais les principaux sacrificateurs incitèrent la foule à demander qu'il leur relâchât plutôt Barabbas.

Mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes incitaron á la multitud, que les soltase antes á Barrabás.

But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.

Et Pilate prenant de nouveau la parole, leur disait : Que voulez-vous donc que je fasse de celui que vous appelez roi des Juifs ?

Y respondiendo Pilato, les dice otra vez: ¿Qué pues queréis que haga del que llamáis Rey de los Judíos?

And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?

Pilate again asked them, “What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

Et ils crièrent de nouveau : Crucifie-le !

Y ellos volvieron á dar voces: Crucifícale.

And they cried out again, Crucify him.

Mais Pilate leur disait : Quel mal a-t-il donc fait ? Et ils crièrent plus fort : Crucifie-le !

Mas Pilato les decía: ¿Pues qué mal ha hecho? Y ellos daban más voces: Crucifícale.

Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, “Crucify him!”

Or Pilate, voulant satisfaire la foule, leur relâcha Barabbas ; et, après avoir fait flageller Jésus, il le livra pour être crucifié.

Y Pilato, queriendo satisfacer al pueblo, les soltó á Barrabás, y entregó á Jesús, después de azotarle, para que fuese crucificado.

And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.

Or les soldats l'emmenèrent dans l'intérieur de la cour qui est le prétoire, et ils convoquent toute la cohorte.

Entonces los soldados le llevaron dentro de la sala, es á saber, al Pretorio; y convocan toda la cohorte.

And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Prætorium; and they call together the whole band.

And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.

Et ils le conduisent au lieu nommé Golgotha, ce qui, traduit, est le lieu du crâne.

Y le llevan al lugar de Gólgotha, que declarado quiere decir: Lugar de la Calavera.

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

Et ils lui donnaient du vin mêlé de myrrhe ; mais il n'en prit point.

Y le dieron á beber vino mezclado con mirra; mas él no lo tomó.

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn’t take it.

Et ils le crucifient, et ils partagent ses vêtements, en les tirant au sort pour savoir ce que chacun prendrait.

Y cuando le hubieron crucificado, repartieron sus vestidos, echando suertes sobre ellos, qué llevaría cada uno.

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

Et avec lui ils crucifient deux brigands, l'un à sa droite, et l'autre à sa gauche.

Et ceux qui passaient l'injuriaient, secouant la tête, et disant : Ohé ! toi qui détruis le temple, et qui le rebâtis en trois jours,

Y los que pasaban le denostaban, meneando sus cabezas, y diciendo: ¡Ah! tú que derribas el templo de Dios, y en tres días lo edificas,

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads and saying, “Ha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,

sauve-toi toi-même en descendant de la croix !

Sálvate á ti mismo, y desciende de la cruz.

Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

save yourself, and come down from the cross!”

De même aussi les principaux sacrificateurs, se moquant entre eux avec les scribes, disaient : Il a sauvé les autres, et il ne peut se sauver lui-même !

Y de esta manera también los príncipes de los sacerdotes escarneciendo, decían unos á otros, con los escribas: A otros salvó, á sí mismo no se puede salvar.

Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.

Que le Christ, le roi d'Israël, descende maintenant de la croix, afin que nous voyions et que nous croyions ! Et ceux qui étaient crucifiés avec lui, l'insultaient.

El Cristo, Rey de Israel, descienda ahora de la cruz, para que veamos y creamos. También los que estaban crucificados con él le denostaban.

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

Et quand la sixième heure fut venue il y eut des ténèbres sur toute la terre jusqu'à la neuvième heure.

Et à la neuvième heure Jésus cria d'une voix forte, disant : Eloï, Eloï, lama sabachthani ? ce qui se traduit : Mon Dieu, mon Dieu, pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné ?

Y á la hora de nona, exclamó Jesús á gran voz, diciendo: Eloi, Eloi, ¿lama sabachthani? que declarado, quiere decir: Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has desamparado?

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Et quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient présents, l'ayant entendu, disaient : Voici, il appelle Elie.

Y oyéndole unos de los que estaban allí, decían: He aquí, llama á Elías.

And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

Et quelqu'un ayant couru et rempli de vinaigre une éponge, l'ayant mise au bout d'un roseau, il lui donnait à boire, en disant : Laissez, voyons si Elie vient le descendre !

Y corrió uno, y empapando una esponja en vinagre, y poniéndola en una caña, le dió á beber, diciendo: Dejad, veamos si vendrá Elías á quitarle.

And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink, saying, “Let him be. Let’s see whether Elijah comes to take him down.”

Mais Jésus, ayant poussé un grand cri, expira.

Or le centenier qui se tenait en face de lui, voyant qu'il avait ainsi expiré, dit : Véritablement cet homme était Fils de Dieu !

Y el centurión que estaba delante de él, viendo que había espirado así clamando, dijo: Verdaderamente este hombre era el Hijo de Dios.

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

lesquelles, quand il était en Galilée, le suivaient et le servaient, et plusieurs autres qui étaient montées avec lui à Jérusalem.

Et le soir étant déjà venu, comme c'était la préparation, c'est-à-dire une veille de sabbat,

Joseph d'Arimathée, conseiller de distinction, qui attendait, lui aussi, le royaume de Dieu, vint, et s'étant enhardi, il entra chez Pilate et lui demanda le corps de Jésus.

José de Arimatea, senador noble, que también esperaba el reino de Dios, vino, y osadamente entró á Pilato, y pidió el cuerpo de Jesús.

Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.

Joseph of Arimathaea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for God’s Kingdom, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.

Mais Pilate s'étonna qu'il fût déjà mort ; et, ayant appelé le centenier, il lui demanda s'il y avait longtemps qu'il était mort.

Y Pilato se maravilló que ya fuese muerto; y haciendo venir al centurión, preguntóle si era ya muerto.

And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.

Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.

Et l'ayant appris du centenier, il fit don du cadavre à Joseph.

Y enterado del centurión, dió el cuerpo á José:

And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.

When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

Et Joseph, ayant acheté un linceul, l'enveloppa dans ce linceul, après l'avoir descendu de la croix, et le mit dans un sépulcre qui était taillé dans le roc ; et il roula une pierre devant la porte du sépulcre.

El cual compró una sábana, y quitándole, le envolvió en la sábana: y le puso en un sepulcro que estaba cavado en una peña; y revolvió una piedra á la puerta del sepulcro.

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.

Or, Marie-Magdelaine et Marie, mère de Josès, regardaient où on l'avait mis.

Y María Magdalena, y María madre de José, miraban donde era puesto.

And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
