Und dann frühmorgens, nachdem die Oberpriester mit den Ältesten und Schriftgelehrten und dem gesamten Synedrium Rat gehalten hatten (einen Plan gefasst hatten) †und nachdem sie Jesus gefesselt hatten, führten sie ihn ab und lieferten ihn an Pilatus aus.

Y LUEGO por la mañana, habiendo tenido consejo los príncipes de los sacerdotes con los ancianos, y con los escribas, y con todo el concilio, llevaron á Jesús atado, y le entregaron á Pilato.

And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

Y Pilato le preguntó: ¿Eres tú el Rey de los Judíos? Y respondiendo él, le dijo: Tú lo dices.

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.

Und Pilatus fragte ihn erneut {und sagte}: „Antwortest du nichts? Siehe, wie viel sie dich beschuldigen!“

And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.

Pilate again asked him, “Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!”

Jesus aber antwortete nicht länger, sodass Pilatus sich wunderte.

Nun ließ er ihnen zum Fest ''einen'' Gefangenen frei, den sie erbaten.

Es war aber einer, der Barabbas genannt wurde †und mit den Aufständischen gefangen, worden war, welche während des Aufstandes einen Mord begangen hatten.

Y había uno, que se llamaba Barrabás, preso con sus compañeros de motín que habían hecho muerte en una revuelta.

And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

Und die Menschenmenge stieg hinauf und begann zu bitten, †zu tun was er für sie zu tun pflegte.

Y viniendo la multitud, comenzó á pedir hiciese como siempre les había hecho.

And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

Und Pilatus antwortete ihnen {und sagte}: „Wollt ihr, dass ich euch den »König der Juden (Judäer)« freilasse?“

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

Denn er wusste, dass die Oberpriester ihn aus Neid übergeben hatten.

Porque conocía que por envidia le habían entregado los príncipes de los sacerdotes.

For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

Die Oberpriester aber hetzten die Menschenmenge auf, dass er ihnen vielmehr Barabbas freilassen solle.

Mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes incitaron á la multitud, que les soltase antes á Barrabás.

But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.

Und Pilatus antwortete ihnen erneut †und sagte: „Was nun wollt ihr, dass ich †mit dem mache, den ihr den »König der Juden (Judäer)« nennt?“

Y respondiendo Pilato, les dice otra vez: ¿Qué pues queréis que haga del que llamáis Rey de los Judíos?

And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?

Pilate again asked them, “What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?”

Sie aber schrien erneut: „Kreuzige ihn!“

Y ellos volvieron á dar voces: Crucifícale.

And they cried out again, Crucify him.

Und Pilatus sagte zu ihnen: „Was hat er denn Schlechtes getan?“ Sie aber schrien maßlos: „Kreuzige ihn!“

Mas Pilato les decía: ¿Pues qué mal ha hecho? Y ellos daban más voces: Crucifícale.

Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, “Crucify him!”

Da aber Pilatus der Menschenmenge gefallen wollte, ließ er ihnen Barabbas frei, und übergab Jesus, nachdem er ihn gegeißelt hatte, damit er gekreuzigt werde.

Y Pilato, queriendo satisfacer al pueblo, les soltó á Barrabás, y entregó á Jesús, después de azotarle, para que fuese crucificado.

And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.

Und die Soldaten führten ihn in den Hof – das heißt: das Prätorium – und {sie} riefen die gesamte Truppe zusammen.

Und sie bringen ihn zu dem Ort Golgata – das heißt übersetzt: Ort des Schädels.

Y le llevan al lugar de Gólgotha, que declarado quiere decir: Lugar de la Calavera.

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

Und sie gaben ihm mit Myrrhe vermischten Wein, er aber nahm †den Wein nicht.

Y le dieron á beber vino mezclado con mirra; mas él no lo tomó.

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn’t take it.

Und sie kreuzigen ihn und ''{sie} teilten seine Kleider, indem sie ein Los über {sie} †die Kleider warfen'', wer was nähme.

Y cuando le hubieron crucificado, repartieron sus vestidos, echando suertes sobre ellos, qué llevaría cada uno.

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

Und zusammen mit ihm kreuzigen sie zwei Räuber, einen zur seiner Rechten und einen zur seiner Linken.

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads and saying, “Ha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,

rette dich selbst, †indem du von dem Kreuz herabsteigst!“

Sálvate á ti mismo, y desciende de la cruz.

Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

Genauso spotteten auch die Oberpriester zueinander mit den Schriftgelehrten{ und sagten}: „Andere hat er gerettet, sich selbst vermag er nicht zu retten.

Y de esta manera también los príncipes de los sacerdotes escarneciendo, decían unos á otros, con los escribas: A otros salvó, á sí mismo no se puede salvar.

Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.

Der Gesalbte (Christus), der König Israels, er soll jetzt von dem Kreuz herabsteigen, damit wir sehen und glauben!“ Und die Mitgekreuzigten {mit ihm} beleidigten ihn †auch.

El Cristo, Rey de Israel, descienda ahora de la cruz, para que veamos y creamos. También los que estaban crucificados con él le denostaban.

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

Und zur sechsten Stunde, geschah eine Finsternis über dem ganzen Land bis zur neunten Stunde.

Und als einige der Beistehenden †dies hörten, sprachen sie: „Siehe, er ruft Elia.“

And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

Jemand aber lief †und füllte einen Schwamm †mit Essig und steckte †ihn auf ein Rohr, gab ihm zu trinken und sprach: „Halt, lasst uns sehen, ob Elia kommt, um ihn herabzunehmen!“

Y corrió uno, y empapando una esponja en vinagre, y poniéndola en una caña, le dió á beber, diciendo: Dejad, veamos si vendrá Elías á quitarle.

And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

Y el centurión que estaba delante de él, viendo que había espirado así clamando, dijo: Verdaderamente este hombre era el Hijo de Dios.

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

Es waren aber auch Frauen †anwesend, die von Weitem zuschauten, unter ihnen auch Maria Magdalena und Maria, die Mutter von Jakobus dem Jüngeren (Kleineren) und Joses, und Salome,

Y también estaban algunas mujeres mirando de lejos; entre las cuales estaba María Magdalena, y María la madre de Jacobo el menor y de José, y Salomé;

There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

José de Arimatea, senador noble, que también esperaba el reino de Dios, vino, y osadamente entró á Pilato, y pidió el cuerpo de Jesús.

Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.

Joseph of Arimathaea, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for God’s Kingdom, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.

Pilatus aber wunderte sich, dass er schon gestorben sei, und er rief den Centurion herbei und fragte ihn, ob er lange gestorben sei.

Y Pilato se maravilló que ya fuese muerto; y haciendo venir al centurión, preguntóle si era ya muerto.

And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.

Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.

Und als er †es von dem Centurion erfuhr, gab er Josef den Leichnam.

Y enterado del centurión, dió el cuerpo á José:

And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.

When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

Und er kaufte ein Leinentuch und nahm ihn herab, wickelte †ihn in das Leinentuch, und {er} legte ihn in ein Grab, das in einen Felsen gehauen war, und er rollte einen Stein vor den Eingang (Tür) des Grabes.

El cual compró una sábana, y quitándole, le envolvió en la sábana: y le puso en un sepulcro que estaba cavado en una peña; y revolvió una piedra á la puerta del sepulcro.

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth and laid him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.

Aber Maria Magdalena und Maria, die †Mutter von Joses, sahen, wo er hingelegt worden war.

Y María Magdalena, y María madre de José, miraban donde era puesto.

And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
