And when the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome purchased fragrant spices so that they could go and anoint him.

Y entradas en el sepulcro, vieron un mancebo sentado al lado derecho, cubierto de una larga ropa blanca; y se espantaron.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified. He has been raised, he is not here! See the place where they laid him!

Mas él les dice: No os asustéis: buscáis á Jesús Nazareno, el que fué crucificado; resucitado há, no está aquí; he aquí el lugar en donde le pusieron.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!

But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you.”

Mas id, decid á sus discípulos y á Pedro, que él va antes que vosotros á Galilea: allí le veréis, como os dijo.

And they went out and fled from the tomb, because trembling and amazement had seized them. And after these things, Jesus himself also sent out through them from the east even as far as the west the holy and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. Amen.〛 〚

Y ellas se fueron huyendo del sepulcro; porque las había tomado temblor y espanto; ni decían nada á nadie, porque tenían miedo.

And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

And later, while they were reclining at table, he appeared to the eleven. And he reprimanded their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had been raised.

Finalmente se apareció á los once mismos, estando sentados á la mesa, y censuróles su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, que no hubiesen creído á los que le habían visto resucitado.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues,

Y estas señales seguirán á los que creyeren: En mi nombre echarán fuera demonios; hablarán nuevas lenguas;

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

they will pick up snakes. And if they drink any deadly poison it will never hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and ⌞they will get⌟ well.”

Quitarán serpientes, y si bebieren cosa mortífera, no les dañará; sobre los enfermos pondrán sus manos, y sanarán.

Y ellos, saliendo, predicaron en todas partes, obrando con ellos el Señor, y confirmando la palabra con las señales que se seguían. Amén.
