Et en même temps qu’il sortait de l’eau, Jean vit les cieux se fendre, et le Saint-Esprit descendre sur lui comme une colombe.

Y luego, subiendo del agua, vió abrirse los cielos, y al Espíritu como paloma, que descendía sobre él.

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
