Und predigte und sprach: Es kommt einer nach mir, der ist stärker denn ich, dem ich nicht genugsam bin, daß ich mich vor ihm bücke und die Riemen seiner Schuhe auflöse.

Ich taufe euch mit Wasser; aber er wird euch mit dem Heiligen Geist taufen.

Como está escrito en Isaías el profeta: He aquí yo envío á mi mensajero delante de tu faz, que apareje tu camino delante de ti.

As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Und es begab sich zu derselbigen Zeit, daß Jesus aus Galiläa von Nazareth kam und ließ sich taufen von Johannes im Jordan.

Voz del que clama en el desierto: Aparejad el camino del Señor; enderezad sus veredas.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Und alsbald stieg er aus dem Wasser und sah, daß sich der Himmel auftat, und den Geist gleichwie eine Taube herab kommen auf ihn.

Bautizaba Juan en el desierto, y predicaba el bautismo del arrepentimiento para remisión de pecados.

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Und da geschah eine Stimme vom Himmel: Du bist mein lieber Sohn, an dem ich Wohlgefallen habe.

Y salía á él toda la provincia de Judea, y los de Jerusalem; y eran todos bautizados por él en el río de Jordán, confesando sus pecados.

And there went out unto him all the land of Judæa, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were baptized by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.

Und bald trieb ihn der Geist in die Wüste.

Y Juan andaba vestido de pelos de camello, y con un cinto de cuero alrededor de sus lomos; y comía langostas y miel silvestre.

And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

John was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.

Und war allda in der Wüste vierzig Tage und ward versucht von dem Satan und war bei den Tieren, und die Engel dieneten ihm.

Y predicaba, diciendo: Viene tras mí el que es más poderoso que yo, al cual no soy digno de desatar encorvado la correa de sus zapatos.

And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

He preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.

Nachdem aber Johannes überantwortet ward, kam Jesus nach Galiläa und predigte das Evangelium vom Reich Gottes

Yo á la verdad os he bautizado con agua; mas él os bautizará con Espíritu Santo.

I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

I baptized you in water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.”

und sprach: Die Zeit ist erfüllet, und das Reich Gottes ist herbeikommen. Tut Buße und glaubt an das Evangelium!

Y aconteció en aquellos días, que Jesús vino de Nazaret de Galilea, y fué bautizado por Juan en el Jordán.

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

Da er aber an dem Galiläischen Meer ging, sah er Simon und Andreas, seinen Bruder, daß sie ihre Netze ins Meer warfen; denn sie waren Fischer.

Y luego, subiendo del agua, vió abrirse los cielos, y al Espíritu como paloma, que descendía sobre él.

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Folget mir nach! Ich will euch zu Menschenfischern machen.

Y hubo una voz de los cielos que decía: Tú eres mi Hijo amado; en ti tomo contentamiento.

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

A voice came out of the sky, “You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Alsbald verließen sie ihre Netze und folgeten ihm nach.

Y luego el Espíritu le impele al desierto.

And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

Und da er von dannen ein wenig fürbaß ging, sah er Jakobus, den Sohn des Zebedäus, und Johannes, seinen Bruder, daß sie die Netze im Schiff flickten; und bald rief er sie.

Y estuvo allí en el desierto cuarenta días, y era tentado de Satanás; y estaba con las fieras; y los ángeles le servían.

And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Und sie ließen ihren Vater Zebedäus im Schiff mit den Tagelöhnern und folgeten ihm nach.

Mas después que Juan fué encarcelado, Jesús vino á Galilea predicando el evangelio del reino de Dios,

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of God’s Kingdom,

Und sie gingen gen Kapernaum; und bald an den Sabbaten ging er in die Schule und lehrete.

Y diciendo: El tiempo es cumplido, y el reino de Dios está cerca: arrepentíos, y creed al evangelio.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.”

Und sie entsetzten sich über seine Lehre; denn er lehrete gewaltiglich und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten.

Y pasando junto á la mar de Galilea, vió á Simón, y á Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar; porque eran pescadores.

Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

Und es war in ihrer Schule ein Mensch, besessen mit einem unsaubern Geist, der schrie

Y les dijo Jesús: Venid en pos de mí, y haré que seáis pescadores de hombres.

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.”

und sprach: Halt, was haben wir mit dir zu schaffen, Jesus von Nazareth? Du bist kommen, uns zu verderben. Ich weiß, wer du bist, der Heilige Gottes.

Y luego, dejadas sus redes, le siguieron.

And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Immediately they left their nets, and followed him.

Und Jesus bedräuete ihn und sprach: Verstumme und fahre aus von ihm!

Y pasando de allí un poco más adelante, vió á Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y á Juan su hermano, también ellos en el navío, que aderezaban las redes.

And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.

Und der unsaubere Geist riß ihn und schrie laut und fuhr aus von ihm.

Y luego los llamó: y dejando á su padre Zebedeo en el barco con los jornaleros, fueron en pos de él.

And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.

Und sie entsetzten sich alle, also daß sie untereinander sich befragten und sprachen: Was ist das? Was ist das für eine neue Lehre? Er gebeut mit Gewalt den unsaubern Geistern, und sie gehorchen ihm.

Y entraron en Capernaum; y luego los sábados, entrando en la sinagoga, enseñaba.

And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.

Und sein Gerücht erscholl bald umher in die Grenze Galiläas.

Y se admiraban de su doctrina; porque les enseñaba como quien tiene potestad, y no como los escribas.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.

Und sie gingen bald aus der Schule und kamen in das Haus des Simon und Andreas mit Jakobus und Johannes.

Y había en la sinagoga de ellos un hombre con espíritu inmundo, el cual dió voces,

And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,

Und die Schwieger Simons lag und hatte das Fieber; und alsbald sagten sie ihm von ihr.

Diciendo: ¡Ah! ¿qué tienes con nosotros, Jesús Nazareno? ¿Has venido á destruirnos? Sé quién eres, el Santo de Dios.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

saying, “Ha! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”

Und er trat zu ihr und richtete sie auf und hielt sie bei der Hand; und das Fieber verließ sie bald, und sie dienete ihnen.

Y Jesús le riñó, diciendo: Enmudece, y sal de él.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

Am Abend aber, da die Sonne untergegangen war, brachten sie zu ihm allerlei Kranke und Besessene.

Y el espíritu inmundo, haciéndole pedazos, y clamando á gran voz, salió de él.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.

Und die ganze Stadt versammelte sich vor der Tür.

Y todos se maravillaron, de tal manera que inquirían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto? ¿Qué nueva doctrina es ésta, que con potestad aun á los espíritus inmundos manda, y le obedecen?

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What can this new doctrine be? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”

Und er half vielen Kranken, die mit mancherlei Seuchen beladen waren, und trieb viele Teufel aus und ließ die Teufel nicht reden; denn sie kannten ihn.

Y vino luego su fama por toda la provincia alrededor de Galilea.

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

The report of him went out immediately into all the region of Galilee and its surrounding area.

Und des Morgens vor Tag stund er auf und ging hinaus. Und Jesus ging in eine wüste Stätte und betete daselbst.

Y luego saliendo de la sinagoga, vinieron á casa de Simón y de Andrés, con Jacobo y Juan.

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Und Petrus mit denen, die bei ihm waren, eileten ihm nach.

Y la suegra de Simón estaba acostada con calentura; y le hablaron luego de ella.

But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.

Now Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him about her.

Und da sie ihn fanden, sprachen sie zu ihm: Jedermann suchet dich.

Entonces llegando él, la tomó de su mano y la levantó; y luego la dejó la calentura, y les servía.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

He came and took her by the hand and raised her up. The fever left her immediately, and she served them.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Laßt uns in die nächsten Städte gehen, daß ich daselbst auch predige; denn dazu bin ich kommen.

Y cuando fué la tarde, luego que el sol se puso, traían á él todos los que tenían mal, y endemoniados;

And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick and those who were possessed by demons.

Und er predigte in ihren Schulen in ganz Galiläa und trieb die Teufel aus.

Y toda la ciudad se juntó á la puerta.

And all the city was gathered together at the door.

Und es kam zu ihm ein Aussätziger, der bat ihn, knieete vor ihm und sprach zu ihm: Willst du, so kannst du mich wohl reinigen.

Y sanó á muchos que estaban enfermos de diversas enfermedades, y echó fuera muchos demonios; y no dejaba decir á los demonios que le conocían.

And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons. He didn’t allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Und es jammerte Jesum und reckte die Hand aus, rührete ihn an und sprach: Ich will's tun; sei gereiniget!

Y levantándose muy de mañana, aun muy de noche, salió y se fué á un lugar desierto, y allí oraba.

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.

Und als er so sprach, ging der Aussatz alsbald von ihm, und er ward rein.

Y le siguió Simón, y los que estaban con él;

And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

Simon and those who were with him searched for him.

Und Jesus bedräuete ihn und trieb ihn alsbald von sich

Y hallándole, le dicen: Todos te buscan.

And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

They found him and told him, “Everyone is looking for you.”

und sprach zu ihm: Siehe zu, daß du niemand nichts sagest, sondern gehe hin und zeige dich dem Priester und opfere für deine Reinigung, was Mose geboten hat, zum Zeugnis über sie.

Y les dice: Vamos á los lugares vecinos, para que predique también allí; porque para esto he venido.

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

He said to them, “Let’s go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because I came out for this reason.”

Er aber, da er hinauskam, hub er an und sagte viel davon und machte die Geschichte ruchbar, also daß er hinfort nicht mehr konnte öffentlich in die Stadt gehen, sondern er war draußen in den wüsten Örtern. Und sie kamen zu ihm von allen Enden.

Y predicaba en las sinagogas de ellos en toda Galilea, y echaba fuera los demonios.

And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.

Und über etliche Tage ging er wiederum gen Kapernaum; und es ward ruchbar, daß er im Hause war.

Y un leproso vino á él, rogándole; é hincada la rodilla, le dice: Si quieres, puedes limpiarme.

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

A leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him, “If you want to, you can make me clean.”

Und alsbald versammelten sich viele, also daß sie nicht Raum hatten, auch draußen vor der Tür. Und er sagte ihnen das Wort.

Y Jesús, teniendo misericordia de él, extendió su mano, y le tocó, y le dice: Quiero, sé limpio.

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, “I want to. Be made clean.”

Und es kamen etliche zu ihm, die brachten einen Gichtbrüchigen, von vieren getragen.

Y así que hubo él hablado, la lepra se fué luego de aquél, y fué limpio.

And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

When he had said this, immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was made clean.

Und da sie nicht konnten zu ihm kommen vor dem Volk, deckten sie das Dach auf, da er war, und gruben's auf und ließen das Bett hernieder, da der Gichtbrüchige innen lag.

Entonces le apercibió, y despidióle luego,

And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

He strictly warned him and immediately sent him out,

Da aber Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sprach er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen: Mein Sohn, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben.

Y le dice: Mira, no digas á nadie nada; sino ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza lo que Moisés mandó, para testimonio á ellos.

And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

Es waren aber etliche Schriftgelehrte, die saßen allda und gedachten in ihrem Herzen:

Mas él salido, comenzó á publicarlo mucho, y á divulgar el hecho, de manera que ya Jesús no podía entrar manifiestamente en la ciudad, sino que estaba fuera en los lugares desiertos; y venían á él de todas partes.

But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

But he went out, and began to proclaim it much, and to spread about the matter, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was outside in desert places. People came to him from everywhere.
