And Jesus said to them, “The ⌞bridegroom’s attendants⌟ are not able to fast while the bridegroom is with them, are they? As long a time as they have the bridegroom with them, they are not able to fast.

Y Jesús les dice: ¿Pueden ayunar los que están de bodas, cuando el esposo está con ellos? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo no pueden ayunar.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
