Und Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Können die Hochzeitsleute fasten, während der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? Die Zeit, so sie den Bräutigam bei sich haben, können sie nicht fasten.

Y Jesús les dice: ¿Pueden ayunar los que están de bodas, cuando el esposo está con ellos? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo no pueden ayunar.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
