Und er sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr nie gelesen, was David tat, als er Mangel hatte und als ihn und die bei ihm waren, hungerte?

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

He said to them, “Did you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?
