Dias depois, Jesus entrou outra vez em Cafarnaum, e ouviu-se que estava em casa.

Y ENTRÓ otra vez en Capernaum después de algunos días, y se oyó que estaba en casa.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was at home.

Juntaram-se tantos, que nem mesmo perto da porta cabiam; e ele lhes falava a palavra.

Y luego se juntaron á él muchos, que ya no cabían ni aun á la puerta; y les predicaba la palabra.

And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.

E vieram uns que traziam-lhe um paralítico carregado por quatro.

Entonces vinieron á él unos trayendo un paralítico, que era traído por cuatro.

And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.

Como não podiam trazer até ele por causa da multidão, descobriram o telhado onde ele estava, fizeram um buraco, e baixaram por ele o leito em que jazia o paralítico.

Y como no podían llegar á él á causa del gentío, descubrieron el techo de donde estaba, y haciendo abertura, bajaron el lecho en que yacía el paralítico.

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.

Quando Jesus viu a fé deles, disse ao paralítico: Filho, os teus pecados estão perdoados.

Y viendo Jesús la fe de ellos, dice al paralítico: Hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

E estavam ali sentados alguns escribas, que pensavam em seus corações:

Y estaban allí sentados algunos de los escribas, los cuales pensando en sus corazones,

But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,

Por que este homem fala assim? Ele está blasfemando! Quem pode perdoar pecados, a não ser somente Deus?

Decían: ¿Por qué habla éste así? Blasfemias dice. ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados, sino solo Dios?

Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

“Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Imediatamente Jesus percebeu em seu espírito que assim pensavam em si mesmos. Então perguntou-lhes: Por que pensais assim em vossos corações?

Y conociendo luego Jesús en su espíritu que pensaban así dentro de sí mismos, les dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis estas cosas en vuestros corazones?

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

O que é mais fácil? Dizer ao paralítico: “Os teus pecados estão perdoados”, ou dizer, “Levanta-te, toma o teu leito, e anda”?

¿Qué es más fácil, decir al paralítico: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decirle: Levántate, y toma tu lecho y anda?

Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk’?

Mas para que saibais que o Filho do homem tem poder na terra para perdoar pecados,(disse ao paralítico):

Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar los pecados, (dice al paralítico):

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—

A ti eu digo: levanta-te, toma o teu leito, e vai para a tua casa.

A ti te digo: Levántate, y toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.

I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

“I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.”

E logo ele se levantou, tomou o leito, e saiu na presença de todos, de tal maneira, que todos ficaram admirados, e glorificaram a Deus, dizendo: Nunca vimos algo assim.

Entonces él se levantó luego, y tomando su lecho, se salió delante de todos, de manera que todos se asombraron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: Nunca tal hemos visto.

And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

He arose, and immediately took up the mat and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Jesus voltou a sair para o mar; toda a multidão veio até ele, e ele os ensinava.

Y volvió á salir á la mar, y toda la gente venía á él, y los enseñaba.

And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

He went out again by the seaside. All the multitude came to him, and he taught them.

E enquanto passava, ele viu Levi, filho de Alfeu, sentado no posto de coleta de impostos, e disse-lhe: Segue-me.Então Levi se levantou e o seguiu.

Y pasando, vió á Leví, hijo de Alfeo, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dice: Sígueme. Y levantándose le siguió.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

As he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. He said to him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.

E aconteceu que enquanto estava sentado à mesa na casa dele, muitos cobradores de impostos e pecadores também estavam também sentados à mesa com Jesus e os seus discípulos; porque eram muitos, e o haviam seguido.

Y aconteció que estando Jesús á la mesa en casa de él, muchos publicanos y pecadores estaban también á la mesa juntamente con Jesús y con sus discípulos: porque había muchos, y le habían seguido.

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.

Quando os escribas dos fariseus o viram comer com os cobradores de impostos e pecadores, disseram a seus discípulos: Por que é que ele come com os cobradores de impostos e os pecadores?

Y los escribas y los Fariseos, viéndole comer con los publicanos y con los pecadores, dijeron á sus discípulos: ¿Qué es esto, que él come y bebe con los publicanos y con los pecadores?

And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?

The scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”

Jesus ouviu e lhes respondeu: Os que têm saúde não precisam de médico, mas sim os que estão doentes. Eu não vim para chamar os justos, mas sim os pecadores .

Y oyéndolo Jesús, les dice: Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, mas los que tienen mal. No he venido á llamar á los justos, sino á los pecadores.

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Os discípulos de João e os dos fariseus estavam jejuando; então vieram lhe perguntar: Por que os discípulos de João e os dos fariseus jejuam, e os teus discípulos não jejuam?

Y los discípulos de Juan, y de los Fariseos ayunaban; y vienen, y le dicen: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan y los de los Fariseos ayunan, y tus discípulos no ayunan?

And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?

John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, “Why do John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t fast?”

Jesus lhes respondeu: Podem os convidados do casamento jejuar enquanto o noivo estiver com eles? Enquanto tiverem o noivo consigo, eles não podem jejuar.

Y Jesús les dice: ¿Pueden ayunar los que están de bodas, cuando el esposo está con ellos? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo no pueden ayunar.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.

Mas dias virão, quando o noivo lhes for tirado; e então naquele dia jejuarão.

Mas vendrán días, cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces en aquellos días ayunarán.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.

Ninguém costura remendo de pano novo em roupa velha; senão o remendo novo rompe o velho, e se faz pior rasgo.

Nadie echa remiendo de paño recio en vestido viejo; de otra manera el mismo remiendo nuevo tira del viejo, y la rotura se hace peor.

No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.

E ninguém põe vinho novo em odres velhos; senão o vinho rompe os odres, e o vinho se perde com os odres; mas o vinho novo deve ser posto em odres novos.

Ni nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos; de otra manera, el vino nuevo rompe los odres, y se derrama el vino, y los odres se pierden; mas el vino nuevo en odres nuevos se ha de echar.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

No one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.”

E aconteceu que, enquanto Jesus passava pelas plantações no sábado, os seus discípulos, andando, começaram a arrancar espigas.

Y aconteció que pasando él por los sembrados en sábado, sus discípulos andando comenzaron á arrancar espigas.

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.

Os fariseus lhe disseram: Olha! Por que estão fazendo o que não é lícito no sábado?

Entonces los Fariseos le dijeron: He aquí, ¿por qué hacen en sábado lo que no es lícito?

And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”

E ele lhes disse: Nunca lestes o que fez Davi, quando teve necessidade e fome, ele e os que com ele estavam?

Y él les dijo: ¿Nunca leísteis qué hizo David cuando tuvo necesidad, y tuvo hambre, él y los que con él estaban:

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

He said to them, “Did you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?

Como ele entrou na Casa de Deus, quando Abiatar era sumo sacerdote, e comeu os pães da proposição (dos quais não é lícito comer, a não ser aos sacerdotes), e também deu aos que com ele estavam?

Cómo entró en la casa de Dios, siendo Abiathar sumo pontífice, y comió los panes de la proposición, de los cuales no es lícito comer sino á los sacerdotes, y aun dió á los que con él estaban?

How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

How he entered into God’s house at the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”

Disse-lhes mais: O sábado foi feito por causa do ser humano, não o ser humano por causa do sábado.

También les dijo: El sábado por causa del hombre es hecho; no el hombre por causa del sábado.

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Por isso o Filho do homem é Senhor até do sábado.

Así que el Hijo del hombre es Señor aun del sábado.

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
