Y ENTRÓ otra vez en Capernaum después de algunos días, y se oyó que estaba en casa.
And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was at home.
And anon, many gathered together, in so much that the places about the doore coulde not receiue any more and he preached the word vnto them.
Y luego se juntaron á él muchos, que ya no cabían ni aun á la puerta; y les predicaba la palabra.
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.
And there came vnto him, that brought one sicke of the palsie, borne of foure men.
Entonces vinieron á él unos trayendo un paralítico, que era traído por cuatro.
And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.
And because they could not come neere vnto him for the multitude, they vncouered ye roofe of the house where hee was: and when they had broken it open, they let downe the bed, wherein the sicke of the palsie lay.
Y como no podían llegar á él á causa del gentío, descubrieron el techo de donde estaba, y haciendo abertura, bajaron el lecho en que yacía el paralítico.
And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.
Nowe when Iesus sawe their faith, he saide to the sicke of the palsie, Sonne, thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
Y viendo Jesús la fe de ellos, dice al paralítico: Hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
And there were certaine of the Scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Y estaban allí sentados algunos de los escribas, los cuales pensando en sus corazones,

Decían: ¿Por qué habla éste así? Blasfemias dice. ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados, sino solo Dios?

“Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
And immediatly when Iesus perceiued in his spirite, that thus they reasoned with themselues, he sayde vnto them, Why reason yee these things in your hearts?
Y conociendo luego Jesús en su espíritu que pensaban así dentro de sí mismos, les dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis estas cosas en vuestros corazones?
And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

Whether is it easier to say to the sicke of the palsie, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee? or to say, Arise, and take vp thy bed, and walke?
¿Qué es más fácil, decir al paralítico: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decirle: Levántate, y toma tu lecho y anda?
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk’?
But that ye may knowe, that the Sonne of man hath authoritie in earth to forgiue sinnes, (he sayde vnto the sicke of the palsie.)
Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar los pecados, (dice al paralítico):
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—
I say vnto thee, Arise and take vp thy bed, and get thee hence into thine owne house.
A ti te digo: Levántate, y toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.
I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
“I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.”
And by and by he arose, and tooke vp his bed, and went foorth before them all, in so much that they were all amased, and glorified God, saying, We neuer sawe such a thing.
Entonces él se levantó luego, y tomando su lecho, se salió delante de todos, de manera que todos se asombraron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: Nunca tal hemos visto.
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
He arose, and immediately took up the mat and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
Then he went foorth againe towarde the sea, and all the people resorted vnto him, and he taught them.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

And it came to passe, as Iesus sate at table in his house, many Publicanes and sinners sate at table also with Iesus, and his disciples: for there were many that followed him.
Y aconteció que estando Jesús á la mesa en casa de él, muchos publicanos y pecadores estaban también á la mesa juntamente con Jesús y con sus discípulos: porque había muchos, y le habían seguido.
And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
And when the Scribes and Pharises sawe him eate with the Publicanes and sinners, they sayd vnto his disciples, Howe is it, that hee eateth and drinketh with Publicanes and sinners?
Y los escribas y los Fariseos, viéndole comer con los publicanos y con los pecadores, dijeron á sus discípulos: ¿Qué es esto, que él come y bebe con los publicanos y con los pecadores?
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
The scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”
Now when Iesus heard it, hee sayde vnto them, The whole haue no neede of the Physicion, but the sicke. I came not to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.
Y oyéndolo Jesús, les dice: Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, mas los que tienen mal. No he venido á llamar á los justos, sino á los pecadores.
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
And the disciples of Iohn, and the Pharises did fast, and came and saide vnto him, Why doe the disciples of Iohn, and of the Pharises fast, and thy disciples fast not?
Y los discípulos de Juan, y de los Fariseos ayunaban; y vienen, y le dicen: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan y los de los Fariseos ayunan, y tus discípulos no ayunan?
And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, “Why do John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t fast?”
And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the marriage chamber fast, whiles the bridegrome is with them? as long as they haue the bridegrome with them, they cannot fast.
Y Jesús les dice: ¿Pueden ayunar los que están de bodas, cuando el esposo está con ellos? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo no pueden ayunar.
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
But the daies will come, when the bridegrome shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast in those daies.
Mas vendrán días, cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces en aquellos días ayunarán.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.
Also no man soweth a piece of newe cloth in an olde garment: for els the newe piece that filled it vp, taketh away somewhat from the olde, and the breach is worse.
Nadie echa remiendo de paño recio en vestido viejo; de otra manera el mismo remiendo nuevo tira del viejo, y la rotura se hace peor.
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.
Likewise, no man putteth newe wine into old vessels: for els the new wine breaketh the vessels, and the wine runneth out, and the vessels are lost: but newe wine must be put into new vessels.
Ni nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos; de otra manera, el vino nuevo rompe los odres, y se derrama el vino, y los odres se pierden; mas el vino nuevo en odres nuevos se ha de echar.
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
No one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.”
And it came to passe as hee went through the corne on the Sabbath day, that his disciples, as they went on their way, began to plucke the eares of corne.
Y aconteció que pasando él por los sembrados en sábado, sus discípulos andando comenzaron á arrancar espigas.
And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
And the Pharises saide vnto him, Beholde, why doe they on the Sabbath day, that which is not lawfull?
Entonces los Fariseos le dijeron: He aquí, ¿por qué hacen en sábado lo que no es lícito?
And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”
And he saide to them, Haue yee neuer read what Dauid did when he had neede, and was an hungred, both he, and they that were with him?
Y él les dijo: ¿Nunca leísteis qué hizo David cuando tuvo necesidad, y tuvo hambre, él y los que con él estaban:
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
He said to them, “Did you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?
Howe he went into the house of God, in the daies of Abiathar the hie Priest, and did eat the shewe bread, which were not lawfull to eate, but for the Priests, and gaue also to them which were with him?
Cómo entró en la casa de Dios, siendo Abiathar sumo pontífice, y comió los panes de la proposición, de los cuales no es lícito comer sino á los sacerdotes, y aun dió á los que con él estaban?
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
How he entered into God’s house at the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”
And hee sayde to them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
También les dijo: El sábado por causa del hombre es hecho; no el hombre por causa del sábado.
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
Wherefore the Sonne of man is Lord, euen of the Sabbath.
Así que el Hijo del hombre es Señor aun del sábado.
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
