Wie redet dieser solche Gotteslästerung? Wer kann Sünde vergeben denn allein Gott?

Y ENTRÓ otra vez en Capernaum después de algunos días, y se oyó que estaba en casa.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was at home.

Und Jesus erkannte bald in seinem Geist, daß sie also gedachten bei sich selbst, und sprach zu ihnen: Was gedenket ihr solches in euren Herzen?

Y luego se juntaron á él muchos, que ya no cabían ni aun á la puerta; y les predicaba la palabra.

And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.

Welches ist leichter, zu dem Gichtbrüchigen zu sagen: Dir sind deine Sünden vergeben, oder: Stehe auf, nimm dein Bett und wandele?

Entonces vinieron á él unos trayendo un paralítico, que era traído por cuatro.

And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.

Auf daß ihr aber wisset, daß des Menschen Sohn Macht hat, zu vergeben die Sünden auf Erden, sprach er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen:

Y como no podían llegar á él á causa del gentío, descubrieron el techo de donde estaba, y haciendo abertura, bajaron el lecho en que yacía el paralítico.

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.

Ich sage dir, stehe auf, nimm dein Bett und gehe heim!

Y viendo Jesús la fe de ellos, dice al paralítico: Hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

Und alsbald stund er auf, nahm sein Bett und ging hinaus vor allen, also daß sie sich alle entsetzten und preiseten Gott und sprachen: Wir haben solches noch nie gesehen.

Y estaban allí sentados algunos de los escribas, los cuales pensando en sus corazones,

But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

Und er ging wiederum hinaus an das Meer; und alles Volk kam zu ihm, und er lehrete sie.

Decían: ¿Por qué habla éste así? Blasfemias dice. ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados, sino solo Dios?

Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

“Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Und da Jesus vorüberging, sah er Levi, den Sohn des Alphäus, am Zoll sitzen und sprach zu ihm: Folge mir nach! Und er stund auf und folgte ihm nach.

Y conociendo luego Jesús en su espíritu que pensaban así dentro de sí mismos, les dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis estas cosas en vuestros corazones?

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

Und es begab sich, da er zu Tische saß in seinem Hause, setzten sich viel Zöllner und Sünder zu Tische mit Jesu und seinen Jüngern. Denn ihrer war viel, die ihm nachfolgeten.

¿Qué es más fácil, decir al paralítico: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decirle: Levántate, y toma tu lecho y anda?

Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk’?

Und die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer, da sie sahen, daß er mit den Zöllnern und Sündern aß, sprachen sie zu seinen Jüngern: Warum isset und trinket er mit den Zöllnern und Sündern?

Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar los pecados, (dice al paralítico):

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—

Da das Jesus hörete, sprach er zu ihnen: Die Starken bedürfen keines Arztes, sondern die Kranken. Ich bin kommen, zu rufen die Sünder zur Buße und nicht die Gerechten.

A ti te digo: Levántate, y toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.

I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

“I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.”

Und die Jünger des Johannes und der Pharisäer fasteten viel; und es kamen etliche, die sprachen zu ihm: Warum fasten die Jünger des Johannes und der Pharisäer, und deine Jünger fasten nicht?

Entonces él se levantó luego, y tomando su lecho, se salió delante de todos, de manera que todos se asombraron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: Nunca tal hemos visto.

And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

He arose, and immediately took up the mat and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wie können die Hochzeitsleute fasten, dieweil der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? Alsolange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist, können sie nicht fasten.

Y volvió á salir á la mar, y toda la gente venía á él, y los enseñaba.

And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

He went out again by the seaside. All the multitude came to him, and he taught them.

Es wird aber die Zeit kommen, daß der Bräutigam von ihnen genommen wird; dann werden sie fasten.

Y pasando, vió á Leví, hijo de Alfeo, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dice: Sígueme. Y levantándose le siguió.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Niemand flicket einen Lappen von neuem Tuch an ein alt Kleid; denn der neue Lappen reißet doch vom alten, und der Riß wird ärger.

Y aconteció que estando Jesús á la mesa en casa de él, muchos publicanos y pecadores estaban también á la mesa juntamente con Jesús y con sus discípulos: porque había muchos, y le habían seguido.

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.

Und niemand fasset Most in alte Schläuche; anders zerreißet der Most die Schläuche, und der Wein wird verschüttet, und die Schläuche kommen um. Sondern man soll Most in neue Schläuche fassen.

Y los escribas y los Fariseos, viéndole comer con los publicanos y con los pecadores, dijeron á sus discípulos: ¿Qué es esto, que él come y bebe con los publicanos y con los pecadores?

And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?

The scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”

Und es begab sich, da er wandelte am Sabbat durch die Saat, und seine Jünger fingen an, indem sie gingen, Ähren auszuraufen.

Y oyéndolo Jesús, les dice: Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, mas los que tienen mal. No he venido á llamar á los justos, sino á los pecadores.

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Und die Pharisäer sprachen zu ihm: Siehe zu, was tun deine Jünger am Sabbat, das nicht recht ist?

Y los discípulos de Juan, y de los Fariseos ayunaban; y vienen, y le dicen: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan y los de los Fariseos ayunan, y tus discípulos no ayunan?

And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?

John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, “Why do John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t fast?”

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr nie gelesen, was David tat, da es ihm not war und ihn hungerte samt denen, die bei ihm waren,

Y Jesús les dice: ¿Pueden ayunar los que están de bodas, cuando el esposo está con ellos? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo no pueden ayunar.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.

wie er ging in das Haus Gottes zur Zeit Abjathars, des Hohenpriesters, und aß die Schaubrote, die niemand durfte essen denn die Priester, und er gab sie auch denen, die bei ihm waren?

Mas vendrán días, cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces en aquellos días ayunarán.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Der Sabbat ist um des Menschen willen gemacht und nicht der Mensch um des Sabbats willen.

Nadie echa remiendo de paño recio en vestido viejo; de otra manera el mismo remiendo nuevo tira del viejo, y la rotura se hace peor.

No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.

So ist des Menschen Sohn ein HERR auch des Sabbats.

Ni nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos; de otra manera, el vino nuevo rompe los odres, y se derrama el vino, y los odres se pierden; mas el vino nuevo en odres nuevos se ha de echar.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

No one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.”

Und er ging abermal in die Schule. Und es war da ein Mensch, der hatte eine verdorrete Hand.

Y aconteció que pasando él por los sembrados en sábado, sus discípulos andando comenzaron á arrancar espigas.

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.

Und sie hielten auf ihn, ob er auch am Sabbat ihn heilen würde, auf daß sie eine Sache wider ihn hätten.

Entonces los Fariseos le dijeron: He aquí, ¿por qué hacen en sábado lo que no es lícito?

And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”

Und er sprach zu dem Menschen mit der verdorreten Hand: Tritt hervor!

Y él les dijo: ¿Nunca leísteis qué hizo David cuando tuvo necesidad, y tuvo hambre, él y los que con él estaban:

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

He said to them, “Did you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Soll man am Sabbat Gutes tun oder Böses tun, das Leben erhalten oder töten? Sie aber schwiegen stille.

Cómo entró en la casa de Dios, siendo Abiathar sumo pontífice, y comió los panes de la proposición, de los cuales no es lícito comer sino á los sacerdotes, y aun dió á los que con él estaban?

How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

How he entered into God’s house at the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”

Und er sah sie umher an mit Zorn und war betrübet über ihre verstockten Herzen und sprach zu dem Menschen: Strecke deine Hand aus! Und er streckte sie aus; und die Hand ward ihm gesund wie die andere.

También les dijo: El sábado por causa del hombre es hecho; no el hombre por causa del sábado.

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Und die Pharisäer gingen hinaus und hielten alsbald einen Rat mit des Herodes Dienern über ihn, wie sie ihn umbrächten.

Así que el Hijo del hombre es Señor aun del sábado.

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
