Und er sprach zu ihnen: Euch ist's gegeben, das Geheimnis des Reichs Gottes zu wissen; denen aber draußen widerfähret es alles durch Gleichnisse,

And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
