E mandou-lhes muito que ninguém o soubesse; e mandou que dessem a ela de comer.

Mas él les mandó mucho que nadie lo supiese, y dijo que le diesen de comer.

And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

He strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and commanded that something should be given to her to eat.
