Chegaram ao outro lado do mar, à região dos gerasenos.

Y VINIERON de la otra parte de la mar á la provincia de los Gadarenos.

And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

Assim que Jesus saiu do barco, um homem com espírito imundo, saindo dos sepulcros, veio até Ele.

Y salido él del barco, luego le salió al encuentro, de los sepulcros, un hombre con un espíritu inmundo,

And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

When he had come out of the boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit met him out of the tombs.

O homem vivia em sepulcros. Ninguém podia detê-lo, nem mesmo com uma corrente.

Que tenía domicilio en los sepulcros, y ni aun con cadenas le podía alguien atar;

Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

He lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains,

Ele havia sido preso várias vezes com correntes e algemas, mas as quebrava e ninguém tinha força para dominá-lo.

Porque muchas veces había sido atado con grillos y cadenas, mas las cadenas habían sido hechas pedazos por él, y los grillos desmenuzados; y nadie le podía domar.

Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

Todas as noites e dias, nos sepulcros e nas montanhas, ele gritava e se cortava com pedras afiadas.

Y siempre, de día y de noche, andaba dando voces en los montes y en los sepulcros, é hiriéndose con las piedras.

And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

Always, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones.

Quando viu Jesus de longe, correu e ajoelhou-se diante Dele.

Y como vió á Jesús de lejos, corrió, y le adoró.

But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and bowed down to him,

Ele clamou em alta voz: "Que tenho eu contigo, Jesus, Filho do Deus Altíssimo? Imploro-Te, por Deus, que não me atormentes".

Y clamando á gran voz, dijo: ¿Qué tienes conmigo, Jesús, Hijo del Dios Altísimo? Te conjuro por Dios que no me atormentes.

And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

and crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, don’t torment me.”

Pois Jesus já lhe havia ordenado: "Sái deste homem, espírito imundo".

Porque le decía: Sal de este hombre, espíritu inmundo.

For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

For he said to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”

Todavia Jesus o interrogou: "Qual é o teu nome?" Respondeu ele: "Meu nome é Legião, pois nós somos muitos".

Y le preguntó: ¿Cómo te llamas? Y respondió diciendo: Legión me llamo; porque somos muchos.

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

He asked him, “What is your name?” He said to him, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”

E implorava a Jesus repetidamente que não os mandasse para fora da região.

Y le rogaba mucho que no le enviase fuera de aquella provincia.

And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

He begged him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

Aconteceu que uma grande manada de porcos pastava no monte,

Y estaba allí cerca del monte una grande manada de puercos paciendo.

Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

Now on the mountainside there was a great herd of pigs feeding.

e os espíritos imundos O imploraram, dizendo: "Manda-nos para os porcos; deixa-nos entrar neles".

Y le rogaron todos los demonios, diciendo: Envíanos á los puercos para que entremos en ellos.

And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

All the demons begged him, saying, “Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them.”

E Jesus assim lhes permitiu. Então os espíritos imundos saíram e entraram nos porcos. A manada, de uns dois mil, lançou-se ao lago por um precipício, e se afogaram na água.

Y luego Jesús se lo permitió. Y saliendo aquellos espíritus inmundos, entraron en los puercos, y la manada cayó por un despeñadero en la mar; los cuales eran como dos mil; y en la mar se ahogaron.

And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

At once Jesus gave them permission. The unclean spirits came out and entered into the pigs. The herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and they were drowned in the sea.

As pessoas que apascentavam os porcos fugiram, relataram esses fatos na cidade e nos campos, e todo o povo correu para ver o que se havia passado.

Y los que apacentaban los puercos huyeron, y dieron aviso en la ciudad y en los campos. Y salieron para ver qué era aquello que había acontecido.

And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

Those who fed the pigs fled, and told it in the city and in the country. The people came to see what it was that had happened.

Chegando a Jesus, viram o endemoniado, o que tivera a legião, sentado, vestido e em perfeito juízo e eles ficaram com medo.

Y vienen á Jesús, y ven al que había sido atormentado del demonio, y que había tenido la legión, sentado y vestido, y en su juicio cabal; y tuvieron miedo.

And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid.

Aqueles que viram o que acontecera ao homem possuído por demônios contaram o que havia ocorrido a ele e também aos porcos.

Y les contaron los que lo habían visto, cómo había acontecido al que había tenido el demonio, y lo de los puercos.

And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

Those who saw it declared to them what happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs.

Começaram a suplicar para Jesus que deixasse sua região.

Y comenzaron á rogarle que se fuese de los términos de ellos.

And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

They began to beg him to depart from their region.

Quando Ele estava entrando no barco, o homem antes possuído por demônios implorou para que pudesse estar com Ele.

Y entrando él en el barco, le rogaba el que había sido fatigado del demonio, para estar con él.

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.

Jesus porém, não lhe permitiu, mas disse: "Vai para tua casa, para teu povo, e dize-lhes o que o Senhor fez por ti e como teve misericórdia de ti".

Mas Jesús no le permitió, sino le dijo: Vete á tu casa, á los tuyos, y cuéntales cuán grandes cosas el Señor ha hecho contigo, y cómo ha tenido misericordia de ti.

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

He didn’t allow him, but said to him, “Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you and how he had mercy on you.”

Então o homem foi embora e proclamou em Decápolis os grandes feitos de Jesus por ele. E todos ficaram maravilhados.

Y se fué, y comenzó á publicar en Decápolis cuán grandes cosas Jesús había hecho con él: y todos se maravillaban.

And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

He went his way, and began to proclaim in Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marveled.

Quando Jesus atravessou novamente para o outro lado, no barco, uma grande multidão se aglomerou ao Seu redor, enquanto Ele estava junto ao mar.

Y pasando otra vez Jesús en un barco á la otra parte, se juntó á él gran compañía; y estaba junto á la mar.

And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

When Jesus had crossed back over in the boat to the other side, a great multitude was gathered to him; and he was by the sea.

E eis que chegou um dos chefes da sinagoga, chamado Jairo, e caiu aos Seus pés quando O viu.

Y vino uno de los príncipes de la sinagoga, llamado Jairo; y luego que le vió, se postró á sus pies,

And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

Behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, came; and seeing him, he fell at his feet

Ele implorava repetidamente, dizendo: "Minha filhinha está à beira da morte. Te imploro que venhas e imponhas as Tuas mãos sobre ela, e assim ficará bem e viva".

Y le rogaba mucho, diciendo: Mi hija está á la muerte: ven y pondrás las manos sobre ella para que sea salva, y vivirá.

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

and begged him much, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Please come and lay your hands on her, that she may be made healthy, and live.”

Então Jesus foi com ele. Uma grande multidão O seguia e O comprimia.

Y fué con él, y le seguía gran compañía, y le apretaban.

And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

He went with him, and a great multitude followed him, and they pressed upon him on all sides.

Ora, havia uma mulher que sofria de hemorragia há doze anos.

Y una mujer que estaba con flujo de sangre doce años hacía,

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

A certain woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years,

Ela muito sofrera sob os cuidados de vários médicos e gastara tudo o que possuía. Mas nada lhe ajudava; pelo contrário, piorava.

Y había sufrido mucho de muchos médicos, y había gastado todo lo que tenía, y nada había aprovechado, antes le iba peor,

And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

and had suffered many things by many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better, but rather grew worse,

Tendo ouvido falar a respeito de Jesus, veio por detrás, entre a multidão, e tocou-lhe o manto.

Como oyó hablar de Jesús, llegó por detrás entre la compañía, y tocó su vestido.

When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

having heard the things concerning Jesus, came up behind him in the crowd and touched his clothes.

Pois ela dizia: "Se eu tocar ao menos Suas vestes, serei curada".

Porque decía: Si tocare tan solamente su vestido, seré salva.

For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

For she said, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be made well.”

Naquele instante, se lhe estancou a hemorragia e a mulher sentiu que seu corpo estava liberto do seu sofrimento.

Y luego la fuente de su sangre se secó; y sintió en el cuerpo que estaba sana de aquel azote.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

Imediatamente, Jesus percebeu que Dele havia saído poder. Virou-se, no meio da multidão, e perguntou: "Quem tocou em Minhas vestes?".

Y luego Jesús, conociendo en sí mismo la virtud que había salido de él, volviéndose á la compañía, dijo: ¿Quién ha tocado mis vestidos?

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

Os Seus discípulos Lhe disseram: “Vês esta multidão comprimindo-Te e dizes: ‘Quem Me tocou?'".

Y le dijeron sus discípulos: Ves que la multitud te aprieta, y dices: ¿Quién me ha tocado?

And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

His disciples said to him, “You see the multitude pressing against you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’”

Mas Jesus olhou ao Seu redor para ver quem havia feito isto.

Y él miraba alrededor para ver á la que había hecho esto.

And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

He looked around to see her who had done this thing.

A mulher, sabendo o que lhe havia acontecido, temeu e tremeu. Ela veio, prostrou-se diante de Jesus e contou-Lhe toda a verdade.

Entonces la mujer, temiendo y temblando, sabiendo lo que en sí había sido hecho, vino y se postró delante de él, y le dijo toda la verdad.

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

Então, lhe disse: "Filha, tua fé te curou. Vai em paz e fica livre da tua doença".

Y él le dijo: Hija, tu fe te ha hecho salva: ve en paz, y queda sana de tu azote.

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease.”

Enquanto Ele falava, algumas pessoas vieram da casa do chefe da sinagoga, dizendo: "Tua filha está morta. Por que ainda incomodas o Mestre?"

Hablando aún él, vinieron de casa del príncipe de la sinagoga, diciendo: Tu hija es muerta; ¿para qué fatigas más al Maestro?

While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s house, saying, “Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher any more?”

Mas quando Jesus ouviu o que eles diziam, disse ao chefe da sinagoga: "Não temas. Apenas crê".

Mas luego Jesús, oyendo esta razón que se decía, dijo al príncipe de la sinagoga: No temas, cree solamente.

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

But Jesus, when he heard the message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Don’t be afraid, only believe.”

E não permitiu que ninguém O acompanhasse, exceto Pedro, Tiago e João, irmão de Tiago.

Y no permitió que alguno viniese tras él sino Pedro, y Jacobo, y Juan hermano de Jacobo.

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

He allowed no one to follow him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

Quando chegaram a casa do chefe da sinagoga, viu Jesus um alvoroço, e os que estavam chorando e lamentando alto.

Y vino á casa del príncipe de la sinagoga, y vió el alboroto, los que lloraban y gemían mucho.

And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

He came to the synagogue ruler’s house, and he saw an uproar, weeping, and great wailing.

Quando Ele entrou na casa, disse-lhes: "Por que estais alvoroçados e chorais? A criança não está morta, mas dorme".

Y entrando, les dice: ¿Por qué alborotáis y lloráis? La muchacha no es muerta, mas duerme.

And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

When he had entered in, he said to them, “Why do you make an uproar and weep? The child is not dead, but is asleep.”

Riram de Jesus, porém Ele colocou todos para fora, tomou o pai da criança, a mãe e os que estavam com Ele, e foi onde a criança estava.

Y hacían burla de él: mas él, echados fuera todos, toma al padre y á la madre de la muchacha, y á los que estaban con él, y entra donde la muchacha estaba.

And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.

They ridiculed him. But he, having put them all out, took the father of the child, her mother, and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying.

E, tomando a mão da menina, disse-lhe: "Talita cumi", que significa: "Menina, Eu te digo: 'Levanta-te'".

Y tomando la mano de la muchacha, le dice: Talitha cumi; que es, si lo interpretares: Muchacha, á ti digo, levántate.

And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha cumi!” which means, being interpreted, “Girl, I tell you, get up!”

Imediatamente a criança se levantou e andou (pois ela tinha doze anos de idade). Logo foram tomados de grande espanto.

Y luego la muchacha se levantó, y andaba; porque tenía doce años. Y se espantaron de grande espanto.

And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

Immediately the girl rose up and walked, for she was twelve years old. They were amazed with great amazement.

Jesus ordenou expressamente que ninguém soubesse disso, dizendo que dessem algo de comer à menina.

Mas él les mandó mucho que nadie lo supiese, y dijo que le diesen de comer.

And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

He strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and commanded that something should be given to her to eat.
