die Pharisäer nämlich und die Juden überhaupt essen nur, wenn sie sich die Hände mit der Faust gewaschen haben, weil sie an den von den Alten überlieferten Satzungen festhalten;

(Porque los Fariseos y todos los Judíos, teniendo la tradición de los ancianos, si muchas veces no se lavan las manos, no comen.

For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
