Y se juntaron a él los fariseos y algunos de los escribas que habían venido de Jerusalén,

Y SE juntaron á él los Fariseos, y algunos de los escribas, que habían venido de Jerusalem;

Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.

Y vieron que algunos de sus discípulos tomaban su pan con manos sucias, es decir, sin lavar.

Los cuales, viendo á algunos de sus discípulos comer pan con manos comunes, es á saber, no lavadas, los condenaban.

And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.

Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is unwashed, hands, they found fault.

Ahora bien, los fariseos y todos los judíos no toman comida sin lavarse las manos con cuidado, manteniendo la vieja tradición de nuestros antepasados:

(Porque los Fariseos y todos los Judíos, teniendo la tradición de los ancianos, si muchas veces no se lavan las manos, no comen.

For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

(For the Pharisees and all the Jews don’t eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.

Y cuando vienen del mercado, no toman alimento hasta que sus manos se lavan; y varias otras reglas que hay, que les han dado para mantener - lavado de tazas y ollas y recipientes de bronce.

Y volviendo de la plaza, si no se lavaren, no comen. Y otras muchas cosas hay, que tomaron para guardar, como las lavaduras de los vasos de beber, y de los jarros, y de los vasos de metal, y de los lechos.)

And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.

They don’t eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)

Y los fariseos y los escribas le preguntaron: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no guardan las reglas de nuestros antepasados, sino que toman su pan con las manos sucias?

Y le preguntaron los Fariseos y los escribas: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no andan conforme á la tradición de los ancianos, sino que comen pan con manos comunes?

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”

Y él dijo: Bien dijo Isaías de lo hipocrita que son ustedes, como está escrito, Esta gente me honra con sus labios

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, como está escrito: Este pueblo con los labios me honra, mas su corazón lejos está de mí.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

He answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Pero su culto es inútil, su adoración es en vano, mientras que ellos enseñan doctrinas de los mandamientos de los hombres.

Y en vano me honran, enseñando como doctrinas mandamientos de hombres.

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

Echando a un lado los mandamientos de Dios, para seguir las reglas de los hombres.

Porque dejando el mandamiento de Dios, tenéis la tradición de los hombres; las lavaduras de los jarros y de los vasos de beber: y hacéis otras muchas cosas semejantes.

For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”

Y les dijo: Verdaderamente has apartado los mandamientos de Dios, para guardar las tradiciones de los hombres.

Les decía también: Bien invalidáis el mandamiento de Dios para guardar vuestra tradición.

And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

Porque Moisés dijo: Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, y el que maldiga de padre o madre, que tenga el castigo de la muerte.

Porque Moisés dijo: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, y: El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, morirá de muerte.

For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’

Pero ustedes dicen: Si un hombre le dice a su padre o a su madre: no puedo ayudarte porque todo lo que tengo: es Corbán, es decir, dado a Dios,

Y vosotros decís: Basta si dijere un hombre al padre ó la madre: Es Corbán (quiere decir, don mío á Dios) todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;

But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,”’” that is to say, given to God,

También afirman que quien dice esto ya no están obligados hacer nada por su padre o su madre;

Y no le dejáis hacer más por su padre ó por su madre,

And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

“then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,

Hacen que la palabra de Dios no tenga efecto, la invalidan según su tradición, que han transmitido : y muchas otras cosas que hacen.

Invalidando la palabra de Dios con vuestra tradición que disteis: y muchas cosas hacéis semejantes á éstas.

Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

making void the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”

Volviéndose otra vez al pueblo, les dijo:Escúchenme todos, y entiendan mis palabras.

Y llamando á toda la multitud, les dijo: Oidme todos, y entended:

And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:

He called all the multitude to himself and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.

Nada de lo que entra de fuera del hombre lo contamina, pero las cosas que salen del corazon hombre son las que contaminan al hombre.

Nada hay fuera del hombre que entre en él, que le pueda contaminar: mas lo que sale de él, aquello es lo que contamina al hombre.

There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

There is nothing from outside of the man that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.

†Si alguno tiene oídos para oír, oiga.

Si alguno tiene oídos para oir, oiga.

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Y cuando él había entrado en la casa lejos de todo el pueblo, sus discípulos le hicieron preguntas sobre el dicho.

Y apartado de la multitud, habiendo entrado en casa, le preguntaron sus discípulos sobre la parábola.

And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.

Y él les dijo: ¿Tienen tan poca sabiduría, tampoco no entienden ? ¿No ven que todo lo que entra a un hombre de fuera no puede hacerlo impuro,

Y díjoles: ¿También vosotros estáis así sin entendimiento? ¿No entendéis que todo lo de fuera que entra en el hombre, no le puede contaminar;

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,

Porque no va al corazón sino al estómago y sale con el desperdicio? Él dijo esto, haciendo que toda la comida esté limpia.

Porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre, y sale á la secreta? Esto decía, haciendo limpias todas las viandas.

Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”

Y él dijo: Lo que sale del hombre, eso contamina al hombre.

Mas decía, que lo que del hombre sale, aquello contamina al hombre.

And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.

Porque desde adentro, desde el corazón de los hombres, vienen malos pensamientos y placeres inmundos,

Porque de dentro, del corazón de los hombres, salen los malos pensamientos, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los homicidios,

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,

La toma de bienes y de vida, la fe quebrantada entre marido y mujer, el deseo de riqueza, maldad, engaño, pecados de la carne, palabras de enojo, soberbia, actos necios.

Los hurtos, las avaricias, las maldades, el engaño, las desvergüenzas, el ojo maligno, las injurias, la soberbia, la insensatez.

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.

Todos estos males vienen de adentro, y contaminan al hombre.

Todas estas maldades de dentro salen, y contaminan al hombre.

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”

Y se fue de allí a la tierra de Tiro y Sidón. Y entró en una casa, deseando que nadie lo supiera; y no pudo guardarla en secreto.

Y levantándose de allí, se fué á los términos de Tiro y de Sidón; y entrando en casa, quiso que nadie lo supiese; mas no pudo esconderse.

And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.

From there he arose and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.

Pero una mujer, cuya hija tenía un espíritu inmundo, que había tenido noticias de él, vino enseguida y se puso a sus pies.

Porque una mujer, cuya hija tenía un espíritu inmundo, luego que oyó de él, vino y se echó á sus pies.

For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.

Ahora la mujer era griega, sirofenicia de nacimiento, y le rogó que le echara fuera el espíritu maligno en su hija.

Y la mujer era Griega, Sirofenisa de nación; y le rogaba que echase fuera de su hija al demonio.

The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.

Y él le dijo: Deja que los niños coman primero, porque no es correcto tomar el pan de los hijos y dárselo a los perros.

Mas Jesús le dijo: Deja primero hartarse los hijos, porque no es bien tomar el pan de los hijos y echarlo á los perrillos.

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

Pero ella le respondió: Sí, Señor; hasta los perros que están debajo de la mesa toman los pedazos que los niños dejan caer.

Y respondió ella, y le dijo: Sí, Señor; pero aun los perrillos debajo de la mesa, comen de las migajas de los hijos.

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

Y él le dijo: Por esta palabra sigue tu camino; el espíritu malo ha salido de tu hija.

Entonces le dice: Por esta palabra, ve; el demonio ha salido de tu hija.

And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”

Y ella se fue a su casa, y vio a la niña en la cama, y el espíritu malo salió.

Y como fué á su casa, halló que el demonio había salido, y á la hija echada sobre la cama.

And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.

Y otra vez salió de Tiro, y vino por Sidón al mar de Galilea, por la región de Decápolis.

Y volviendo á salir de los términos de Tiro, vino por Sidón á la mar de Galilea, por mitad de los términos de Decápolis.

And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.

Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee through the middle of the region of Decapolis.

Y vinieron a él con uno que estaba sordo y mudo; y le pidieron que le pusiera las manos encima.

Y le traen un sordo y tartamudo, y le ruegan que le ponga la mano encima.

And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.

Y lo apartó del pueblo en privado, y metió sus dedos en sus oídos, y puso saliva en la lengua del hombre con su dedo;

Y tomándole aparte de la gente, metió sus dedos en las orejas de él, y escupiendo, tocó su lengua;

And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

He took him aside from the multitude privately and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat and touched his tongue.

Y levantando los ojos al cielo, respiró hondo, y le dijo: Efata, es decir, sé abierto.

Y mirando al cielo, gimió, y le dijo: Ephphatha: que es decir: Sé abierto.

And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”

Y se le abrieron los oídos, y las cuerdas vocales se soltaron y empezó hablar claramente.

Y luego fueron abiertos sus oídos, y fué desatada la ligadura de su lengua, y hablaba bien.

And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.

Y les dio órdenes de no dar noticias de ello a nadie; pero cuanto más hizo este pedido, tanto más lo hicieron público.

Y les mandó que no lo dijesen á nadie; pero cuanto más les mandaba, tanto más y más lo divulgaban.

And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.

Y se llenaron de asombro, diciendo: Todo lo ha hecho bien; los sordos oyen otra vez y los mudos hablan.

Y en gran manera se maravillaban, diciendo: Bien lo ha hecho todo: hace á los sordos oir, y á los mudos hablar.

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”
