e notaram que alguns dos discípulos dele deixavam de seguir os rituais judaicos comuns antes de comer, isto é, o de lavar as mãos.
Los cuales, viendo á algunos de sus discípulos comer pan con manos comunes, es á saber, no lavadas, los condenaban.

Então os fariseus e os mestres da lei lhe perguntaram: “Por que os seus discípulos não seguem os nossos antigos e tradicionais costumes, pois eles comem sem primeiro seguir a cerimônia de lavar-se?”
Y le preguntaron los Fariseos y los escribas: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no andan conforme á la tradición de los ancianos, sino que comen pan con manos comunes?
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
Jesus respondeu: “Seus hipócritas! O profeta Isaías descreveu vocês muito bem quando disse: ‘Esse povo se aproxima de mim com a boca e me honra com os lábios, mas o seu coração está longe de mim.
Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, como está escrito: Este pueblo con los labios me honra, mas su corazón lejos está de mí.
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
He answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Em vão me adoram; seus ensinamentos não passam de regras ensinadas por homens’.
Y en vano me honran, enseñando como doctrinas mandamientos de hombres.
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
Porque vocês desprezam as ordens expressas de Deus e põem no lugar delas as próprias tradições de vocês”.
Porque dejando el mandamiento de Dios, tenéis la tradición de los hombres; las lavaduras de los jarros y de los vasos de beber: y hacéis otras muchas cosas semejantes.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”
E disse-lhes: “Vocês estão sempre encontrando uma maneira de rejeitar as leis de Deus, a fim de obedecerem às suas tradições.
Les decía también: Bien invalidáis el mandamiento de Dios para guardar vuestra tradición.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
Por exemplo: Moisés lhes deu esta lei: ‘Honre o seu pai e a sua mãe’ e ‘Quem amaldiçoar seu pai e sua mãe deverá morrer’.
Porque Moisés dijo: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, y: El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, morirá de muerte.
For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
Mas vocês afirmam que está perfeitamente certo que um homem despreze seus pais necessitados, dizendo-lhes: ‘Eu não posso ajudar vocês! Porque o que podia dar é uma oferta a Deus’.
Y vosotros decís: Basta si dijere un hombre al padre ó la madre: Es Corbán (quiere decir, don mío á Dios) todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;
But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,”’” that is to say, given to God,
Assim vocês o desobrigam de qualquer dever com seu pai ou sua mãe,
Y no le dejáis hacer más por su padre ó por su madre,
And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
“then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
e quebram a lei de Deus para proteger a sua tradição que vocês mesmos transmitiram. E vocês fazem muitas outras coisas semelhantes a esta”.
Invalidando la palabra de Dios con vuestra tradición que disteis: y muchas cosas hacéis semejantes á éstas.
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
making void the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
Então Jesus chamou a multidão novamente para que viesse ouvir. “Ouçam vocês todos”, disse ele, “e procurem entender:
Y llamando á toda la multitud, les dijo: Oidme todos, y entended:
And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
He called all the multitude to himself and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.
Nada que venha de fora da pessoa e entre nela pode torná-la ‘impura’, mas o que sai de dentro da pessoa, isso a torna ‘impura’.
Nada hay fuera del hombre que entre en él, que le pueda contaminar: mas lo que sale de él, aquello es lo que contamina al hombre.
There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
There is nothing from outside of the man that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
Se alguém tem ouvidos para ouvir, que ouça”.
Si alguno tiene oídos para oir, oiga.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Depois ele entrou numa casa para afastar-se do povo, e os seus discípulos lhe perguntaram o que ele queria dizer com a parábola.
Y apartado de la multitud, habiendo entrado en casa, le preguntaron sus discípulos sobre la parábola.
And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
“Nem vocês entendem?”, perguntou ele. “Vocês não percebem que o que entra no homem não pode torná-lo ‘impuro’?
Y díjoles: ¿También vosotros estáis así sin entendimiento? ¿No entendéis que todo lo de fuera que entra en el hombre, no le puede contaminar;
And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,
Pois a comida não entra em contato com o seu coração, mas apenas com seu estômago, sendo depois eliminada”. Ao dizer isso, ele mostrou que todo tipo de comida era “puro”.
Porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre, y sale á la secreta? Esto decía, haciendo limpias todas las viandas.
Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”
Então ele acrescentou: “O que sai da pessoa é que a torna ‘impura’.
Mas decía, que lo que del hombre sale, aquello contamina al hombre.
And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
Porque de dentro, do coração dos homens, vêm os maus pensamentos, as imoralidades sexuais, os roubos, os assassínios, os adultérios,
Porque de dentro, del corazón de los hombres, salen los malos pensamientos, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los homicidios,
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

os desejos de possuir o que pertence aos outros, a falta de temor a Deus, o engano, as paixões carnais, a inveja, a calúnia, o orgulho, e todas as outras loucuras.
Los hurtos, las avaricias, las maldades, el engaño, las desvergüenzas, el ojo maligno, las injurias, la soberbia, la insensatez.
Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
Todas essas coisas ruins procedem de dentro; são elas que tornam as pessoas ‘impuras’ ”.
Todas estas maldades de dentro salen, y contaminan al hombre.
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”
Jesus deixou a Galileia e foi para a região de Tiro e Sidom; e procurava conservar em segredo o fato de que estava ali, mas não foi possível. Porque, como de costume, a notícia da sua chegada espalhou-se depressa.
Y levantándose de allí, se fué á los términos de Tiro y de Sidón; y entrando en casa, quiso que nadie lo supiese; mas no pudo esconderse.
And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
From there he arose and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.
Imediatamente veio a ele uma mulher, cuja filhinha estava dominada por um espírito imundo. Tendo ouvido falar de Jesus, ela veio e caiu aos pés dele.
Porque una mujer, cuya hija tenía un espíritu inmundo, luego que oyó de él, vino y se echó á sus pies.
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
Suplicava-lhe que livrasse a filha dela do poder do demônio. A mulher era estrangeira, de nacionalidade siro-fenícia.
Y la mujer era Griega, Sirofenisa de nación; y le rogaba que echase fuera de su hija al demonio.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
Jesus lhe disse: “Deixe que os filhinhos comam primeiro. Não é correto tirar o pão dos filhos e jogá-lo aos cachorrinhos”.
Mas Jesús le dijo: Deja primero hartarse los hijos, porque no es bien tomar el pan de los hijos y echarlo á los perrillos.
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
Ela respondeu: “É verdade, Senhor, mas até mesmo os cachorrinhos debaixo da mesa comem as migalhas das crianças”.
Y respondió ella, y le dijo: Sí, Señor; pero aun los perrillos debajo de la mesa, comen de las migajas de los hijos.
And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
Jesus respondeu: “Por causa desta resposta você pode voltar para casa, porque o demônio já a deixou!”
Entonces le dice: Por esta palabra, ve; el demonio ha salido de tu hija.
And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
E quando ela chegou em casa, sua filha estava deitada na cama, e o demônio já a havia deixado.
Y como fué á su casa, halló que el demonio había salido, y á la hija echada sobre la cama.
And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
De Tiro, ele foi para Sidom, e depois voltou ao mar da Galileia pelo caminho das dez cidades.
Y volviendo á salir de los términos de Tiro, vino por Sidón á la mar de Galilea, por mitad de los términos de Decápolis.
And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee through the middle of the region of Decapolis.
Trouxeram-lhe um homem surdo e gago; todos pediam a Jesus que pusesse as mãos sobre o homem e o curasse.
Y le traen un sordo y tartamudo, y le ruegan que le ponga la mano encima.
And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
Jesus o retirou do meio da multidão, pôs os dedos nos ouvidos do homem e depois cuspiu e tocou na língua dele com a saliva.
Y tomándole aparte de la gente, metió sus dedos en las orejas de él, y escupiendo, tocó su lengua;
And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
He took him aside from the multitude privately and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat and touched his tongue.
Então, levantando os olhos para o céu, ele suspirou profundamente e ordenou: “Efatá!”, que significa: “Abra-se!”
Y mirando al cielo, gimió, y le dijo: Ephphatha: que es decir: Sé abierto.
And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”
Naquele mesmo instante o homem pôde ouvir perfeitamente e começou a falar corretamente!
Y luego fueron abiertos sus oídos, y fué desatada la ligadura de su lengua, y hablaba bien.
And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
Jesus ordenou à multidão que não espalhasse a notícia: porém, quanto mais ele os proibia, mais eles tornavam o fato conhecido,
Y les mandó que no lo dijesen á nadie; pero cuanto más les mandaba, tanto más y más lo divulgaban.
And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
porque estavam simplesmente maravilhados, e diziam: “Tudo o que ele faz é maravilhoso; ele até faz o surdo ouvir e o mudo falar!”
Y en gran manera se maravillaban, diciendo: Bien lo ha hecho todo: hace á los sordos oir, y á los mudos hablar.
And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”
