Allora si radunarono presso di lui i Farisei ed alcuni degli scribi venuti da Gerusalemme.

Y SE juntaron á él los Fariseos, y algunos de los escribas, que habían venido de Jerusalem;

Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.

E videro che alcuni de’ suoi discepoli prendevano cibo con mani impure, cioè non lavate.

Los cuales, viendo á algunos de sus discípulos comer pan con manos comunes, es á saber, no lavadas, los condenaban.

And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.

Poiché i Farisei e tutti i Giudei non mangiano se non si sono con gran cura lavate le mani, attenendosi alla tradizione degli antichi;

(Porque los Fariseos y todos los Judíos, teniendo la tradición de los ancianos, si muchas veces no se lavan las manos, no comen.

For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

(For the Pharisees and all the Jews don’t eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.

e quando tornano dalla piazza non mangiano se non si sono purificati con delle aspersioni. E vi sono molto altre cose che ritengono per tradizione: lavature di calici, d’orciuoli e di vasi di rame.

Y volviendo de la plaza, si no se lavaren, no comen. Y otras muchas cosas hay, que tomaron para guardar, como las lavaduras de los vasos de beber, y de los jarros, y de los vasos de metal, y de los lechos.)

And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.

They don’t eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)

E i Farisei e gli scribi domandarono: Perché i tuoi discepoli non seguono essi la tradizione degli antichi, ma prendon cibo con mani impure?

Y le preguntaron los Fariseos y los escribas: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no andan conforme á la tradición de los ancianos, sino que comen pan con manos comunes?

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”

Ma Gesù disse loro: Ben profetò Isaia di voi ipocriti, com’è scritto: Questo popolo mi onora con le labbra, ma il cuor loro è lontano da me.

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, como está escrito: Este pueblo con los labios me honra, mas su corazón lejos está de mí.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

He answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Ma invano mi rendono il loro culto insegnando dottrine che son precetti d’uomini.

Y en vano me honran, enseñando como doctrinas mandamientos de hombres.

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

Voi, lasciato il comandamento di Dio, state attaccati alla tradizione degli uomini.

Porque dejando el mandamiento de Dios, tenéis la tradición de los hombres; las lavaduras de los jarros y de los vasos de beber: y hacéis otras muchas cosas semejantes.

For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”

E diceva loro ancora: Come ben sapete annullare il comandamento di Dio per osservare la tradizione vostra!

Les decía también: Bien invalidáis el mandamiento de Dios para guardar vuestra tradición.

And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

Mosè infatti ha detto: Onora tuo padre e tua madre; e: Chi maledice padre o madre, sia punito di morte;

Porque Moisés dijo: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, y: El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, morirá de muerte.

For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’

voi, invece, se uno dice a suo padre od a sua madre: Quello con cui potrei assisterti è Corban (vale a dire, offerta a Dio),

Y vosotros decís: Basta si dijere un hombre al padre ó la madre: Es Corbán (quiere decir, don mío á Dios) todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;

But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,”’” that is to say, given to God,

non gli permettete più di far cosa alcuna a pro di suo padre o di sua madre;

Y no le dejáis hacer más por su padre ó por su madre,

And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

“then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,

annullando così la parola di Dio con la tradizione che voi vi siete tramandata. E di cose consimili ne fate tante!

Invalidando la palabra de Dios con vuestra tradición que disteis: y muchas cosas hacéis semejantes á éstas.

Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

making void the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”

Poi, chiamata a sé di nuovo la moltitudine, diceva loro: Ascoltatemi tutti ed intendete:

Y llamando á toda la multitud, les dijo: Oidme todos, y entended:

And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:

He called all the multitude to himself and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.

Non v’è nulla fuori dell’uomo che entrando in lui possa contaminarlo; ma son le cose che escono dall’uomo quelle che contaminano l’uomo.

Nada hay fuera del hombre que entre en él, que le pueda contaminar: mas lo que sale de él, aquello es lo que contamina al hombre.

There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

There is nothing from outside of the man that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.

Se uno ha orecchi da udire oda.

Si alguno tiene oídos para oir, oiga.

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”

E quando, lasciata la moltitudine, fu entrato in casa, i suoi discepoli lo interrogarono intorno alla parabola.

Y apartado de la multitud, habiendo entrado en casa, le preguntaron sus discípulos sobre la parábola.

And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.

Ed egli disse loro: Siete anche voi così privi d’intendimento? Non capite voi che tutto ciò che dal di fuori entra nell’uomo non lo può contaminare,

Y díjoles: ¿También vosotros estáis así sin entendimiento? ¿No entendéis que todo lo de fuera que entra en el hombre, no le puede contaminar;

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,

perché gli entra non nel cuore ma nel ventre e se ne va nella latrina? Così dicendo, dichiarava pure puri tutti quanti i cibi.

Porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre, y sale á la secreta? Esto decía, haciendo limpias todas las viandas.

Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”

Diceva inoltre: E’ quel che esce dall’uomo che contamina l’uomo;

Mas decía, que lo que del hombre sale, aquello contamina al hombre.

And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.

poiché è dal di dentro, dal cuore degli uomini, che escono cattivi pensieri, fornicazioni, furti, omicidi,

Porque de dentro, del corazón de los hombres, salen los malos pensamientos, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los homicidios,

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,

adulteri, cupidigie, malvagità, frode, lascivia, sguardo maligno, calunnia, superbia, stoltezza.

Los hurtos, las avaricias, las maldades, el engaño, las desvergüenzas, el ojo maligno, las injurias, la soberbia, la insensatez.

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.

Tutte queste cose malvage escono dal di dentro e contaminano l’uomo.

Todas estas maldades de dentro salen, y contaminan al hombre.

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”

Poi, partitosi di là, se ne andò vero i confini di Tiro. Ed entrato in una casa, non voleva che alcuno lo sapesse; ma non poté restar nascosto,

Y levantándose de allí, se fué á los términos de Tiro y de Sidón; y entrando en casa, quiso que nadie lo supiese; mas no pudo esconderse.

And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.

From there he arose and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.

ché anzi, subito, una donna la cui figliuolina aveva uno spirito immondo, avendo udito parlar di lui, venne e gli si gettò ai piedi.

Porque una mujer, cuya hija tenía un espíritu inmundo, luego que oyó de él, vino y se echó á sus pies.

For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.

Quella donna era pagana, di nazione sirofenicia, e lo pregava di cacciare il demonio dalla sua figliuola.

Y la mujer era Griega, Sirofenisa de nación; y le rogaba que echase fuera de su hija al demonio.

The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.

Ma Gesù le disse: Lascia che prima siano saziati i figliuoli; ché non è bene prendere il pane dei figliuoli per buttarlo a’ cagnolini.

Mas Jesús le dijo: Deja primero hartarse los hijos, porque no es bien tomar el pan de los hijos y echarlo á los perrillos.

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

Ma ella rispose: Dici bene, Signore; e i cagnolini, sotto la tavola, mangiano de’ minuzzoli dei figliuoli.

Y respondió ella, y le dijo: Sí, Señor; pero aun los perrillos debajo de la mesa, comen de las migajas de los hijos.

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

E Gesù le disse: Per cotesta parola, va’; il demonio è uscito dalla tua figliuola.

Entonces le dice: Por esta palabra, ve; el demonio ha salido de tu hija.

And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”

E la donna, tornata a casa sua, trovò la figliuolina coricata sul letto e il demonio uscito di lei.

Y como fué á su casa, halló que el demonio había salido, y á la hija echada sobre la cama.

And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.

Partitosi di nuovo dai confini di Tiro, Gesù, passando per Sidone, tornò verso il mar di Galilea traversano il territorio della Decapoli.

Y volviendo á salir de los términos de Tiro, vino por Sidón á la mar de Galilea, por mitad de los términos de Decápolis.

And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.

Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee through the middle of the region of Decapolis.

E gli menarono un sordo che parlava a stento; e lo pregarono che gl’imponesse la mano.

Y le traen un sordo y tartamudo, y le ruegan que le ponga la mano encima.

And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.

Ed egli, trattolo in disparte fuor dalla folla, gli mise le dite negli orecchi e con la saliva gli toccò la lingua;

Y tomándole aparte de la gente, metió sus dedos en las orejas de él, y escupiendo, tocó su lengua;

And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

He took him aside from the multitude privately and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat and touched his tongue.

poi, levati gli occhi al cielo, sospirò e gli disse: Effathà! che vuol dire: Apriti!

Y mirando al cielo, gimió, y le dijo: Ephphatha: que es decir: Sé abierto.

And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”

E gli si aprirono gli orecchi; e subito gli si sciolse lo scilinguagnolo e parlava bene.

Y luego fueron abiertos sus oídos, y fué desatada la ligadura de su lengua, y hablaba bien.

And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.

E Gesù ordinò loro di non parlarne ad alcuno; ma lo più lo divietava loro e più lo divulgavano;

Y les mandó que no lo dijesen á nadie; pero cuanto más les mandaba, tanto más y más lo divulgaban.

And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.

e stupivano oltremodo, dicendo: Egli ha fatto ogni cosa bene; i sordi li fa udire, e i mutoli li fa parlare.

Y en gran manera se maravillaban, diciendo: Bien lo ha hecho todo: hace á los sordos oir, y á los mudos hablar.

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”
