En ces jours-là, comme il y avait encore une grande foule qui n'avait pas de quoi manger, Jésus appela ses disciples et leur dit :

EN aquellos días, como hubo gran gentío, y no tenían qué comer, Jesús llamó á sus discípulos, y les dijo:

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

In those days, when there was a very great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to himself and said to them,

" J'ai compassion de ce peuple, car voilà trois jours déjà qu'ils ne me quittent pas, et ils n'ont rien à manger.

Tengo compasión de la multitud, porque ya hace tres días que están conmigo, y no tienen qué comer:

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

“I have compassion on the multitude, because they have stayed with me now three days and have nothing to eat.

Si je les renvoie dans leur maison sans nourriture, ils tomberont de défaillance en chemin ; car plusieurs d'entre eux sont venus de loin ! "

Y si los enviare en ayunas á sus casas, desmayarán en el camino; porque algunos de ellos han venido de lejos.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, for some of them have come a long way.”

Ses disciples lui répondirent : " Comment pourrait-on trouver ici, dans un désert, assez de pain pour les rassasier ? "

Y sus discípulos le respondieron: ¿De dónde podrá alguien hartar á estos de pan aquí en el desierto?

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

His disciples answered him, “From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?”

Et il leur demanda : " Combien avez-vous de pains ? " Ils dirent : " Sept. "

Y les preguntó: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.”

Alors il fit asseoir la foule par terre, prit les sept pains, et, après avoir rendu grâces, il les rompit et les donna à ses disciples pour les distribuer ; et ils les distribuèrent au peuple.

Entonces mandó á la multitud que se recostase en tierra; y tomando los siete panes, habiendo dado gracias, partió, y dió á sus discípulos que los pusiesen delante: y los pusieron delante á la multitud.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the multitude.

Ils avaient en outre quelques petits poissons ; après avoir prononcé une bénédiction, Jésus les fit aussi distribuer.

Tenían también unos pocos pececillos: y los bendijo, y mandó que también los pusiesen delante.

And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

Ils mangèrent et furent rassasiés, et l'on emporta sept corbeilles des morceaux qui restaient.

Y comieron, y se hartaron: y levantaron de los pedazos que habían sobrado, siete espuertas.

So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.

They ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

Or ceux qui mangèrent étaient environ quatre mille. Ensuite Jésus les renvoya.

Y eran los que comieron, como cuatro mil: y los despidió.

And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

Il monta aussitôt dans la barque avec ses disciples, et vint dans le pays de Dalmanutha.

Y luego entrando en el barco con sus discípulos, vino á las partes de Dalmanutha.

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

Immediately he entered into the boat with his disciples and came into the region of Dalmanutha.

Survinrent les Pharisiens, qui commencèrent à discuter avec lui, lui demandant, pour l'éprouver, un signe du ciel.

Y vinieron los Fariseos, y comenzaron á altercar con él, pidiéndole señal del cielo, tentándole.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

Jésus ayant poussé un profond soupir, dit : " Pourquoi cette génération demande-t-elle un signe ? Je vous le dis, en vérité, il ne sera point donné de signe à cette génération. "

Y gimiendo en su espíritu, dice: ¿Por qué pide señal esta generación? De cierto os digo que no se dará señal á esta generación.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

He sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Most certainly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

Et les laissant, il remonta dans la barque et passa à l'autre bord.

Y dejándolos, volvió á entrar en el barco, y se fué de la otra parte.

And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

He left them, and again entering into the boat, departed to the other side.

Or les disciples avaient oublié de prendre des pains ; ils n'en avaient qu'un seul avec eux dans la barque.

Y se habían olvidado de tomar pan, y no tenían sino un pan consigo en el barco.

Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

They forgot to take bread; and they didn’t have more than one loaf in the boat with them.

Jésus leur donna cet avertissement : " Gardez-vous avec soin du levain des Pharisiens et du levain d'Hérode. "

Y les mandó, diciendo: Mirad, guardaos de la levadura de los Fariseos, y de la levadura de Herodes.

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

He warned them, saying, “Take heed: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”

Sur quoi ils faisaient réflexion entre eux, disant : " C'est que nous n'avons pas de pains. "

Y altercaban los unos con los otros diciendo: Pan no tenemos.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

They reasoned with one another, saying, “It’s because we have no bread.”

Jésus, connaissant leur pensée, leur dit : " Pourquoi vous entretenez-vous de ce que vous n'avez pas de pains ? N'avez-vous encore ni sens ni intelligence ? Votre cœur est-il encore aveuglé ?

Y como Jesús lo entendió, les dice: ¿Qué altercáis, porque no tenéis pan? ¿no consideráis ni entendéis? ¿aun tenéis endurecido vuestro corazón?

And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, “Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet or understand? Is your heart still hardened?

Avez-vous des yeux pour ne pas voir, des oreilles pour ne pas entendre ? Et n'avez-vous point de mémoire ?

¿Teniendo ojos no veis, y teniendo oídos no oís? ¿y no os acordáis?

Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

Quand j'ai rompu les cinq pains entre les cinq mille hommes, combien avez-vous emporté de corbeilles pleines de morceaux ? " Ils lui dirent : " Douze. " —

Cuando partí los cinco panes entre cinco mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Doce.

When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Twelve.”

Et quand j'ai rompu les sept pains entre les quatre mille hommes, combien de paniers pleins de morceaux avez-vous emportés ? " Ils lui dirent : " Sept. "

Y cuando los siete panes entre cuatro mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

“When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Seven.”

Il leur dit : " Comment ne comprenez-vous pas encore ? "

Y les dijo: ¿Cómo aun no entendéis?

And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?

He asked them, “Don’t you understand yet?”

Ils arrivèrent à Bethsaïde, et on lui amena un aveugle qu'on le pria de toucher.

Y vino á Bethsaida; y le traen un ciego, y le ruegan que le tocase.

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch him.

Prenant la main de l'aveugle, Jésus le conduisit hors du bourg, lui mit de sa salive sur les yeux, et, lui ayant imposé les mains, lui demanda s'il voyait quelque chose.

Entonces, tomando la mano del ciego, le sacó fuera de la aldea; y escupiendo en sus ojos, y poniéndole las manos encima, le preguntó si veía algo.

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spat on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.

L'aveugle leva les yeux et dit : " Je vois les hommes qui marchent, semblables à des arbres. "

Y él mirando, dijo: Veo los hombres, pues veo que andan como árboles.

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

He looked up, and said, “I see men, but I see them like walking trees.”

Jésus lui mit de nouveau les mains sur les yeux, et il le fit regarder. Alors il fut si bien guéri, qu'il voyait distinctement toutes choses.

Luego le puso otra vez las manos sobre sus ojos, y le hizo que mirase; y fué restablecido, y vió de lejos y claramente á todos.

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.

Alors Jésus le renvoya dans sa maison, en lui disant : " Va dans ta maison, sans entrer dans le bourg, ni parler de ceci à personne du bourg. "

Y envióle á su casa, diciendo: No entres en la aldea, ni lo digas á nadie en la aldea.

And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

He sent him away to his house, saying, “Don’t enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

De là, Jésus se rendit avec ses disciples dans les villages qui entourent Césarée de Philippe, et sur le chemin il leur fit cette question : " Qui dit-on que je suis ? "

Y salió Jesús y sus discípulos por las aldeas de Cesarea de Filipo. Y en el camino preguntó á sus discípulos, diciéndoles: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que soy yo?

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Cæsarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Ils lui répondirent : " Jean-Baptiste ; d'autres, Elie ; d'autres, un des prophètes. —

Y ellos respondieron: Juan Bautista; y otros, Elías; y otros, Alguno de los profetas.

And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

They told him, “John the Baptizer, and others say Elijah, but others, one of the prophets.”

Mais vous, leur demanda-t-il, qui dites-vous que je suis ? " Pierre, prenant la parole, lui dit : " Vous êtes le Christ. "

Entonces él les dice: Y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy yo? Y respondiendo Pedro, le dice: Tú eres el Cristo.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.”

Et il leur défendit sévèrement de dire cela de lui à personne.

Y les apercibió que no hablasen de él á ninguno.

And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.

Alors il commença à leur enseigner qu'il fallait que le Fils de l'homme souffrît beaucoup, qu'il fût rejeté par les Anciens, par les Princes des prêtres et les Scribes, qu'il fût mis à mort et qu'il ressuscitât trois jours après.

Y comenzó á enseñarles, que convenía que el Hijo del hombre padeciese mucho, y ser reprobado de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas, y ser muerto, y resucitar después de tres días.

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Et il leur dit ces choses ouvertement. Pierre, le prenant à part, se mit à le reprendre.

And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

Mais Jésus, s'étant retourné et ayant regardé ses disciples, réprimanda Pierre, en disant : " Arrière ! Satan ; car tes sentiments ne sont pas ceux de Dieu, mais ceux des hommes. "

Y él, volviéndose y mirando á sus discípulos, riñó á Pedro, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Satanás; porque no sabes las cosas que son de Dios, sino las que son de los hombres.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But he, turning around and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

Puis, ayant appelé le peuple avec ses disciples, il leur dit : " Si quelqu'un veut marcher à ma suite, qu'il se renonce lui-même, qu'il prenne sa croix et me suive.

Y llamando á la gente con sus discípulos, les dijo: Cualquiera que quisiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese á sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y sígame.

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Car celui qui veut sauver sa vie, la perdra, et celui qui perdra sa vie à cause de moi et de l'Evangile, la sauvera.

Porque el que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá; y el que perdiere su vida por causa de mí y del evangelio, la salvará.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.

Que servira-t-il à l'homme de gagner le monde entier, s'il perd son âme ?

Porque ¿qué aprovechará al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y pierde su alma?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?

Car que donnera l'homme en échange de son âme ?

¿O qué recompensa dará el hombre por su alma?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Celui qui aura rougi de moi et de mes paroles au milieu de cette génération adultère et pécheresse, le Fils de l'homme aussi rougira de lui, lorsqu'il viendra dans la gloire de son Père avec les anges saints. " Il ajouta : " Je vous le dis, en vérité, parmi ceux qui sont ici, quelques-uns ne goûteront point la mort, qu'ils n'aient vu le royaume de Dieu venir avec puissance. "

Porque el que se avergonzare de mí y de mis palabras en esta generación adulterina y pecadora, el Hijo del hombre se avergonzará también de él, cuando vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con los santos ángeles.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
