Marcos 8

Als in jenen Tagen wieder einmal eine große Volksmenge zugegen war und sie nichts zu essen hatten, rief Jesus seine Jünger herbei und sagte zu ihnen:

EN aquellos días, como hubo gran gentío, y no tenían qué comer, Jesús llamó á sus discípulos, y les dijo:

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

In those days, when there was a very great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to himself and said to them,

»Mich jammert des Volkes; denn sie halten nun schon drei Tage bei mir aus und haben nichts zu essen;

Tengo compasión de la multitud, porque ya hace tres días que están conmigo, y no tienen qué comer:

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

“I have compassion on the multitude, because they have stayed with me now three days and have nothing to eat.

und wenn ich sie nach Hause gehen lasse, ohne daß sie gegessen haben, so werden sie unterwegs verschmachten; sie sind ja auch zum Teil von weit her gekommen.«

Y si los enviare en ayunas á sus casas, desmayarán en el camino; porque algunos de ellos han venido de lejos.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, for some of them have come a long way.”

Da erwiderten ihm seine Jünger: »Woher sollte man diese hier in einer so öden Gegend mit Brot sättigen können?«

Y sus discípulos le respondieron: ¿De dónde podrá alguien hartar á estos de pan aquí en el desierto?

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

His disciples answered him, “From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?”

Er fragte sie: »Wie viele Brote habt ihr?« Sie antworteten: »Sieben.«

Y les preguntó: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.”

Da gebot er der Volksmenge, sich auf der Erde zu lagern; dann nahm er die sieben Brote, sprach den Lobpreis (Gottes), brach die Brote und gab (die Stücke) seinen Jüngern, damit diese sie austeilten; die legten sie dann der Volksmenge vor.

Entonces mandó á la multitud que se recostase en tierra; y tomando los siete panes, habiendo dado gracias, partió, y dió á sus discípulos que los pusiesen delante: y los pusieron delante á la multitud.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the multitude.

Sie hatten auch noch ein paar kleine Fische; er sprach den Segen über sie und ließ auch diese austeilen.

Tenían también unos pocos pececillos: y los bendijo, y mandó que también los pusiesen delante.

And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

They also had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.

So aßen sie denn und wurden satt; dann sammelten sie die übriggebliebenen Stücke, sieben Körbe voll.

Y comieron, y se hartaron: y levantaron de los pedazos que habían sobrado, siete espuertas.

So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.

They ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

Es waren aber gegen viertausend Menschen, (die gegessen hatten und) die er nun gehen ließ.

Y eran los que comieron, como cuatro mil: y los despidió.

And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

Those who had eaten were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.

Er stieg hierauf sogleich mit seinen Jüngern in das Boot ein und gelangte in die Gegend von Dalmanutha.

Y luego entrando en el barco con sus discípulos, vino á las partes de Dalmanutha.

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

Immediately he entered into the boat with his disciples and came into the region of Dalmanutha.

Da kamen die Pharisäer zu ihm hinaus, begannen mit ihm zu verhandeln und verlangten von ihm ein Wunderzeichen vom Himmel her, weil sie ihn auf die Probe stellen wollten.

Y vinieron los Fariseos, y comenzaron á altercar con él, pidiéndole señal del cielo, tentándole.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

The Pharisees came out and began to question him, seeking from him a sign from heaven and testing him.

Da seufzte er in seinem Geiste tief auf und sagte: »Wozu verlangt dieses Geschlecht ein Zeichen? Wahrlich ich sage euch: Nimmermehr wird diesem Geschlecht ein Zeichen gegeben werden!«

Y gimiendo en su espíritu, dice: ¿Por qué pide señal esta generación? De cierto os digo que no se dará señal á esta generación.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

He sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Most certainly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

Mit diesen Worten ließ er sie stehen, stieg wieder in das Boot ein und fuhr an das jenseitige Ufer hinüber.

Y dejándolos, volvió á entrar en el barco, y se fué de la otra parte.

And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

He left them, and again entering into the boat, departed to the other side.

Sie hatten aber vergessen, Brote mitzunehmen, und hatten nur ein einziges Brot bei sich im Boot.

Y se habían olvidado de tomar pan, y no tenían sino un pan consigo en el barco.

Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

They forgot to take bread; and they didn’t have more than one loaf in the boat with them.

Da sagte er warnend zu ihnen: »Gebt acht, hütet euch vor dem Sauerteig der Pharisäer und vor dem Sauerteig des Herodes!«

Y les mandó, diciendo: Mirad, guardaos de la levadura de los Fariseos, y de la levadura de Herodes.

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

He warned them, saying, “Take heed: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”

Da erwogen sie im Gespräch miteinander: »(Das sagt er deshalb) weil wir keine Brote haben.«

Y altercaban los unos con los otros diciendo: Pan no tenemos.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

They reasoned with one another, saying, “It’s because we have no bread.”

Als Jesus das merkte, sagte er zu ihnen: »Was macht ihr euch Gedanken darüber, daß ihr keine Brote (mitgenommen) habt? Begreift und versteht ihr denn immer noch nicht? Habt ihr auch jetzt noch ein Herz, das verhärtet ist?

Y como Jesús lo entendió, les dice: ¿Qué altercáis, porque no tenéis pan? ¿no consideráis ni entendéis? ¿aun tenéis endurecido vuestro corazón?

And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, “Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet or understand? Is your heart still hardened?

Ihr habt Augen und seht nicht, habt Ohren und hört nicht? Denkt ihr denn nicht daran:

¿Teniendo ojos no veis, y teniendo oídos no oís? ¿y no os acordáis?

Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

Als ich die fünf Brote für die Fünftausend brach, wie viele Körbe voll Brocken habt ihr da aufgelesen?« Sie antworteten ihm: »Zwölf.«

Cuando partí los cinco panes entre cinco mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Doce.

When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Twelve.”

»Und damals als ich die sieben (Brote) für die Viertausend (brach), wie viele Körbchen habt ihr da mit den Brocken gefüllt, die ihr aufgelesen hattet?« Sie antworteten: »Sieben.«

Y cuando los siete panes entre cuatro mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

“When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Seven.”

Da sagte er zu ihnen: »Habt ihr immer noch kein Verständnis?«

Y les dijo: ¿Cómo aun no entendéis?

And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?

He asked them, “Don’t you understand yet?”

Sie kamen dann nach Bethsaida. Dort brachte man einen Blinden zu ihm und bat ihn, er möchte ihn anrühren.

Y vino á Bethsaida; y le traen un ciego, y le ruegan que le tocase.

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch him.

Er faßte denn auch den Blinden bei der Hand und führte ihn vor das Dorf hinaus; dann tat er ihm Speichel in die Augen, legte ihm die Hände auf und fragte ihn, ob er etwas sähe.

Entonces, tomando la mano del ciego, le sacó fuera de la aldea; y escupiendo en sus ojos, y poniéndole las manos encima, le preguntó si veía algo.

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spat on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.

Jener schlug die Augen auf und antwortete: »Ich nehme die Menschen wahr: sie kommen mir bei ihrem Umhergehen wie Bäume vor.«

Y él mirando, dijo: Veo los hombres, pues veo que andan como árboles.

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

He looked up, and said, “I see men, but I see them like walking trees.”

Darauf legte er ihm die Hände nochmals auf die Augen; da konnte er deutlich sehen und war geheilt, so daß er auch in der Ferne alles scharf sah.

Luego le puso otra vez las manos sobre sus ojos, y le hizo que mirase; y fué restablecido, y vió de lejos y claramente á todos.

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.

Nun schickte Jesus ihn heim in sein Haus mit der Weisung: »Gehe auch nicht (erst wieder) in das Dorf hinein!«

Y envióle á su casa, diciendo: No entres en la aldea, ni lo digas á nadie en la aldea.

And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

He sent him away to his house, saying, “Don’t enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

Jesus zog dann mit seinen Jüngern weiter in die Ortschaften bei Cäsarea Philippi. Unterwegs richtete er an seine Jünger die Frage: »Für wen halten mich die Leute?«

Y salió Jesús y sus discípulos por las aldeas de Cesarea de Filipo. Y en el camino preguntó á sus discípulos, diciéndoles: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que soy yo?

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Cæsarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Jesus went out, with his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, “Who do men say that I am?”

Sie antworteten ihm: »Für Johannes den Täufer, andere für Elia, noch andere für sonst einen von den (alten) Propheten.«

Y ellos respondieron: Juan Bautista; y otros, Elías; y otros, Alguno de los profetas.

And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

They told him, “John the Baptizer, and others say Elijah, but others, one of the prophets.”

Nun fragte er sie weiter: »Ihr aber – für wen haltet ihr mich?« Petrus gab ihm zur Antwort: »Du bist Christus!«

Entonces él les dice: Y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy yo? Y respondiendo Pedro, le dice: Tú eres el Cristo.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.”

Da gab er ihnen die strenge Weisung, sie sollten das zu niemand von ihm sagen.

Y les apercibió que no hablasen de él á ninguno.

And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.

Hierauf begann er sie darauf hinzuweisen, der Menschensohn müsse vieles leiden und von den Ältesten, den Hohenpriestern und den Schriftgelehrten verworfen und getötet werden und nach drei Tagen auferstehen;

Y comenzó á enseñarles, que convenía que el Hijo del hombre padeciese mucho, y ser reprobado de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas, y ser muerto, y resucitar después de tres días.

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

und er sprach das ganz offen aus. Da nahm Petrus ihn beiseite und begann auf ihn einzureden;

Y claramente decía esta palabra. Entonces Pedro le tomó, y le comenzó á reprender.

And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

He spoke to them openly. Peter took him and began to rebuke him.

er aber wandte sich um, blickte seine Jünger an und wies Petrus scharf ab mit den Worten: »Hinweg von mir, Satan! (Tritt) hinter mich! Deine Gedanken sind nicht die Gedanken Gottes, sondern sind Menschengedanken.«

Y él, volviéndose y mirando á sus discípulos, riñó á Pedro, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Satanás; porque no sabes las cosas que son de Dios, sino las que son de los hombres.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But he, turning around and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

Dann rief er die Volksmenge samt seinen Jüngern herbei und sagte zu ihnen: »Will jemand mir nachfolgen, so verleugne er sich selbst und nehme sein Kreuz auf sich, und so werde er mein Nachfolger.

Y llamando á la gente con sus discípulos, les dijo: Cualquiera que quisiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese á sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y sígame.

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Denn wer sein Leben retten will, der wird es verlieren; wer aber sein Leben um meinetwillen und um der Heilsbotschaft willen verliert, der wird es retten.

Porque el que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá; y el que perdiere su vida por causa de mí y del evangelio, la salvará.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.

Denn was hülfe es einem Menschen, wenn er die ganze Welt gewönne und doch sein Leben einbüßte?

Porque ¿qué aprovechará al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y pierde su alma?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?

Denn was könnte ein Mensch als Gegenwert für sein Leben geben?

¿O qué recompensa dará el hombre por su alma?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Denn wer sich meiner und meiner Worte unter diesem ehebrecherischen und sündigen Geschlecht schämt, dessen wird sich auch der Menschensohn schämen, wenn er in der Herrlichkeit seines Vaters mit den heiligen Engeln kommt.«

Porque el que se avergonzare de mí y de mis palabras en esta generación adulterina y pecadora, el Hijo del hombre se avergonzará también de él, cuando vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con los santos ángeles.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
