y muchas veces le ha precipitado en el fuego y en el agua, a fin de acabar con él; pero si puedes algo, socórrenos, compadecido de noso-tros.

Y muchas veces le echa en el fuego y en aguas, para matarle; mas, si puedes algo, ayúdanos, teniendo misericordia de nosotros.

And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
