Und so dich deine Hand ärgert, so haue sie ab. Es ist dir besser, daß du ein Krüppel zum Leben eingehest, denn daß du zwei Hände habest und in die Hölle ins unauslöschliche Feuer weggehest.

Y si tu mano te escandalizare, córtala: mejor te es entrar á la vida manco, que teniendo dos manos ir á la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
